[Q] Does anybody have these apk's

Hi , i deleted a few apps when i rooted my phone but i have backups of all apart from 3 files .
Iv looked on the specific thread for all the original apk's that come already installed on the phone but these dont seem to be on there
any help will be much appriciated
fb setup(fbsetupwizard.apk)
fb calendar sync(fbcalendarsync.apk)
sony ericsson fb(semcfacebookservice.apk) i think thats what the apk is called
fb notification publisher(fbnotificationpublisher.apk)

Look in the /system/app folder , what the permissions look like then change to the same permissions. Reboot.

it not works on 2.3.4 , ...62 . even move them on system/app and change the permission!!!!!
i think you have to flash SE stock rom again

First off , no one mentioned .62 , secondly it does work how I said because I've done it and many have as well. ;-)

you should be fine...just make a backup first

[MOD] [Stock] No mms convertion + No recepient Limit on Sms [13-10-2012]

Hey There Guy's
As many of u know when we send an sms with 4 pages or more its automatically converted in an Mms ... Which is annoying and sometimes costly!
We are also limited to send that same sms to a limit of 10 people ... wich is also a pain in ass!
However with this mod u can break both the limits without convertion or restriction ... wich means u can send with as many pages as u want to as many persons as u like
How Can U Have This? Its Simple
You'll Need:
- A Phone With CWM Recovery
- A Deodexed System
- A Brain
To Install It:
- Choose The One That Fit u Best
- Flash It From Recovery
What If U Have A Odexed System?
You'll Have to ( With Help Of Root Explorer ) go to system/app and delete Mms.apk and its respective odex file and then u can flash this
For CM7/9/10 - This is originally included so ... no need

Didnt notice that its for Stock ROMs
IT's been really long, back when i used to use Stock Roms
Nywy by default in CM7 Rom the Mms.apk
the enter key is replaced with smileys key and hence going to next line using (enter key) is gone
So i was just wondering if u could bring it back.
I mean instead of smiley key i want the enter key back by default

Now you can write and write and write without the anoying mms conversion!
Instructions:
- With RootExplorer go to System/Apps, look for Mms.apk make a copy of that to your SDCard so you have a backup in case something go wrong (It Wont )
- Now found the file you´ve downloaded, copy to System/Apps, replace, set permissions to rw-r--r-- (like in the image below)
- Reboot, push the icon into app drawer, DONE, enjoy
Warning: This APK is for stock or custom ROM's based on stock ROM's ( If Anyone Provide Me a Mms.apk from a cyanogen based rom i will mod it so it would do just the same )
If it doesn´t work just re-install your Mms.apk or just PM me and will mod yor Mms.apk

it's not working on [ROM] LG OPTIMIZED 2xx by spacecaker. but can you mod his MMS.apk for me? Please? i attached the file.

Done I've modded the mms.apk that you sended to me
make sure you follow the steps!
Replace in System/App folder set permission´s right (rw-r--r--), and reboot!

First of all cheers for the fisrst technoduos rom.
I installed v1.0 on my android , however as there is no gtalk application made me disappointed.
It would be helpful if someone can help me by guiding me with innstructions to install google talk app on my phone

I tried installing talk.apk file in system/apps folder and changed file permission to read, write and execute for all the three , ie owner, group , others.
I rebooted the phone and when i tried to lauch the talk app, it crashes - i get the error message as "
" SORRY
The application Talk (process com.google.android.talk) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. " -> FORCE CLOSE
i checked the permissions for other apps and changed the permission as
Owner - read, write
Group - read
Other - read
I still get the same error
Please advice...

btw i have only flashed technoduos rom 1.0
i havent flashed the custom kernel
i havent updated to technoduos 1.1

1. I lost All Data
2. I lost My SD Card (Its Empty Just Like The Brand New SD)
No Data, No Partition, SD Volume becoming 1GB from 16GB
3. GTalk Not Running, only Stop in Blank Window...

Gmail came preinstalled with technoduos rom and working
One more flaw discovered, office suite preinstalled on technoduos rom crashes whenever i open a pdf file. This was not the case with stock rom

same prob i had... i had uninstalled using es explorer *rooted* app manager... but when i needed it back, my backup of talk.apk didnt work..
so i tried many other online talk apks files... but they all gave problems like force close after it tries to load chat window of any contact i click..
but when i read your problem and replies i got an idea.. Uninstall bugged talk app if u have currently installed ..then just copy talk.apk file which u had backup earlier before uninstalling into /system/app/ folder which worked like a charm for me...!! remember u need talk.odex file with talk.apk file inside /system/app/ folder for this to work... but there may be other better ways to make it work.. but this solved my issue
i have both file and if u still having this issue i can upload those 2 files and 'll give u link... pm me if u need it.

Gtalk Not showing android Symbol (ROBOT) Status

I am using technoduos 1.5 , and I observed that when i am online in mobile the Gtalk status is green. and with another gmail(friends id). I have checked that
I am showing online as i am logged in PC.
The android (Robot symbol) is not coming .
Is there any solution.. for this. if yes pls tell me

This is the stock Gallery 4.1.1.
Always use on 4.1.2 Roms, and now no longer serves me. For me it is a gallery that worked quite faster than the default brings now.
Hopefully someone knows and can help me. I have rom Deodex
PD: Zip would put the link to the gallery but the forum will not let me

I cant help you on the short term. But you could try the free app QuickPic in the meanwhile as a replacement.

It is a flashable zip. What I always did was delete the file with his odex secgallery with rootexplorer, and then flasheaba for recovery. Now what have I done now in 4.2.2 and fails to open the application.
In theory the flash it already has the permissions so no dice?

[Q] Missing default messaging app

HI guys ,
I rooted my note 2 to get some tweaks going but instead i ended up losing my default messaging app. What happened was that i tried to install cyanogen-mod messaging app which didn't work so i decided to uninstall it , when i did that it somehow took my default messaging app with it which i do not understand at all. My question is if there is a way i could get it back ? Google didn't help much.

I have a stock 4.3 rom but rooted with some issues not sure if they are related, but messaging app got removed once i tried to install cyanogen mod messaging app like i said earlier

yes i have hangout but things like schedule text messaging were handy , im using an app from playe store called 4.4 kitkat stock app which doesnt offer schedule messaging like the stock one did

Try my copy. I overwrite all my ROM's stock messaging app with this one, always works for me.

As you probably know, put in system/app with correct permissoins, install by clicking it through your root-enabled file manager.

The part where you said as you probably know is not quite true coz I installed the cyanogen mod messaging app through cyanogen mod install manager which is available at play store.The whole thing was a misunderstanding coz the messaging app doesnt really work on stock roms which I found out after the mess up. If you could write me the step by step to follow that'd be wonderful. Thnx for the reply pal

Appreciate the help but when i was trying to paste the other messaging apk file into the system/app folder it found the original messaging app there which i never thought to check , i know silly me.

By the way i could not change permissions on your apk for some reason i tried root explorer, fx explorer, xe explorer, root browser all failed because the file wouldnt let me ,any ideas ?
