So I've got a question in Thinking about buying a epic 4G touch and then flashing it over to cricket.
When I flash it to cricket would I still be able to install custom roms and kernels? Or would I be limited to the stock rom?

I am guessing you should be able to install custom rooms, but you may have to do extra work. Try the search function on xda first.

Yes you can......flashing to cricket is just the service and carrier not hardware or anything.....I'm planning on flashing to cricket or boost aswell

I havent came across an att rom that is not flashable.

There is a way to unlock the phone but i fear that these roms are catered to 4g lte and simply mobile is only 4g will that affect service as far as data or email and text etc? Will it even work at all?

No lmao. If u dont know the difference between att radios and tmobile radios, then id advise u not to even bother with rooting and flashing. U can only get and will only get EDGE/2G data speeds. Period

My one v might as well be the HTC one v touch as I don't pay for service. Besides radios not working is it safe to flash or would flashing gsm radios cause problems

You really don't need to. Its the same thing. Just keep a tmo ROM on. It will still work. If anything flash a radio. I know on galaxy s 2 radios are compatible. Not sure about the s3 since the att version has lte.

Only reason I was asking is the different ROMs available and all

Just flash it like any other ROM through recovery

Hey all
Just wondering if this is possible... Anyone know?
Thanks!

I know that some ROMs can be flashed no problem cause I've used a few myself but the radios I think not cause its a different network setup using different frequencies. It will most likely brick your phone
