anyone tried this? looks interesting... im still convincing myself if i should get one.. the added bulk doesn't seem to be much of a turnoff, unlike other batts of this capacity...

I know that there are some ups and some downs for both of these devices. Could you be so kind as to give me your thoughts on them, and which one to get? Thanks!

Never seen or used the power skin case, I do gave the sedio 3500 mah battery though and its killer.

I am using Seido 3500 extended battery since more than 1 year and I am very satisfy.
Extended batteries. Which one is the most value for money?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
It depends ....please could you expand your question a little / elaborate re. which particular batteries u mean?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
LOL. Yes. Please.elaborate. Haha. I think mugen batteries are good. So are seidio. But they aren't making batteries at the moment for the sgs2.
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
I would shell out for either Momax or Siedo !
I just ordered momax standard because i find mugen to be pricey. Still waiting for mugen and momax 2500mah. Ebay batteries are cheap though are they worth it? Will look at seido. Thanks

(Edit: sorry I initially thought you meant Mugen doesn't make SGS2 batts)
Mugen batteries for the SGS2: http://www.mugen-power-batteries.com/samsung/samsung-galaxy-s-ii-i9100.html
I had extended Mugen batteries in the past and the quality is top notch, and so are the rated amps. They are not the usual cheap chinese knockoffs that last you 1/3 of what they claim. They really do last the rated amps and the capacity does not plummet with time. I still have my 3000 mAh Mugen battery for the HTC Touch Diamond and it's still going strong!
Never tried Momax or Seidio but I can vouch for Mugen. They may be a bit more pricey but you do get what you paid for.
Cheers

I vouch for Mugen too!
Had an excelent experience with the 3200mAh extended battery for SGS and I will probably buy the same one for SGS II!!!
Momax got stand in their extended back cover. And price is less than half of mugen. I can buy 3 momax 2500 mah for the price of 1 mugen. Anyone did a real use comparison with these batteries?

How many times does it last compared with stock samsung battery?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
Now we 're talking about the battery for SGS, but it is useful for concusions.
So with the stock samsung battery it lasted me 1-2 days, depending on the usage.
With the Mugen 3200mAh extended battery it lasted me 2-4 days, again depending on the usage.
BUT it all depends on the usage!!!
I remember a few times with the extended batttery on, I managed to drain it off in one day with the heaviest usage I 've had!
And another time with medium to low usage it lasted 6 days!!!
So I hope that I helped you!

After a week or so I got used to it!!!
I didn't bothered me at all.
If you 're like me, meaning that you want double the power no matter the slight increse in thickness, then the Mugen extended battery will never disappoint you my friend!!!
Has anyone tried this extended battery?

There are brands like momax which sells for half the mugen. So are mugen extended batteries worth it?

i have looked at Momax site many times, the only battery's they sell for the galaxy s2 are 1450mAh and 1650mAh there not extended battery's considering the battery that comes with the mobile is 1650mAh.
As for Mugen they offer 1700mAh and 3200mAh..
I think Mugen is the way to go, unless Momax can come up with somthing better.
Bought something like this for 9$:
http://www.spider-foot.com/3500mah-backup-extended-batterydoor-cover-for-samsung-gti9100-galaxy-s-2-ii-910eb-p-962.html
got it 2days ago but havent time yet to test it Free sheeping to any country, I had 2 other battier for SGS1 and they were working fine, we will see how is this one.
Bought it mostly for Croatia becasue leaving today for 2weeks and need some more power for beach, shooting movies, listening to music etc Will report back how its working
I'll be getting the 3200mA battery from Mugen once its out, they are sending me one to do a review on, so I will let you know how my experience is. I tend to think with batteries its better to buy them from places with better reputations - how well regarded is Momax?

Does anyone know if there is a slim version of an extended battery? I have the onite 4300mah extended battery and it last all day, but I don't like the fact that it's a lot heavier than the phone with the stock battery. I don't need that much power. Just something to get me an hour or two more out of my phone. Something a little higher than the 2100mah. Any thoughts? Also if this post already exist, please delete this one, I apologize if there is one I was unable to locate it.

Hm. im afraid not... You could always underclock your phone or root... but i seriously am blanking out i honestly think there is no "slim" version of the extended battery.
Well I mean instead of me having a 2100 mah is there somethin little higher capacity or does someone know of a website that sells extended battery doors. I have the onite extended battery and I might just stick with that but the back door broke for the phone and I don't know of anyone who sells a pebble blue extended battery cover.

Really appreciate it. Did they mention if it will ad any extra width to the phone? Also do you have a link?

Was just wondering if you know if that battery will add any thickness to the phone. Also could you provide a link to the website? Thank you.

You can find a bunch on eBay. They even have 3000mah from china. I just bought 2 2800 from USA for like $15 they are the same physical size as stock battery. Just search i747 battery on eBay.
Are they NFC enabled like the stock battery is ?
Remember that on the GS3, NFC is built into the battery itself, not onto the phone.
Of course, if you don't need it...
i recently received my 2300 mAh Onite with NFC from Amazon.
so far, it's providing me with just a few more hours. which is all i needed anyways, and keeping the same battery cover.
i also have a CellularFactory 4500 mAh with NFC that provides me with 2 days of battery that i use when traveling.
http://www.sunsky-online.com/view/2...+SIII+++i9300+++T999+++i535+++L710+++i747.htm
No NFC but I personally don't use it much anyways

With the slim battery, how long is your screen time? I think with stock I can hit about 3 hours before I have to charge the phone.

In my opinion, it's WAY to overpriced for only 2300 mah. A Zerolemon which gives you 7000 more maH for only 40 dollars and you get a protective TPU case. Or for 12 USD, a 3300 mah battery that even fits in the stock battery cover.

What brand you recommend for 330 mah as if I can fit that battery in my seideo case it would be great . As on ebay some batteries might be fake as the price is sometimes too good to be true..
