Hi there,
running ICS Beta 0.4.4.3, I have a screen pattern lock because the ROM has trackball-wake. Unfortunately, the lock-page has an "emergency dialer" button that will more often than not be pressed and then pocket-dialed. This is annoying me to no end. Is there a way to flash something or install an app that will disable that stupid function?
TIA

Have a look in /system/frameworks/framework-res.apk/res/drawable-hdpi
All buttons are there, prefixed "btn_"

Hi @ all!
I hope this is the right place to post this questions. But because I'm not allowed to post in a developerforum, I try to place my questions here. Maybe a mod can move the thread.
I tried out the ROM:
Dianxinos
A really, really great ROM. But with my Desire HD I have 2 Problems:
1.: After a reboot I have no possibility to unlock the SIM card. No buttons will be displayed. I can unlock the sim directly after the first boot (after flashing). but not after any reboot.
2.: The statusbar will not be displayed. I tried all relevant settings (show/hide statusbar). Nothing helped yet.
Does anyone have the same problems? Does anyone have a fix? Is it a settings-problem?
Regards
Guggsdu

I hope that this dosen't belong in Q&A, but I love this splash screen, however I have no access to a windows PC and was wondering if someone could convert it to a PC36IMG.zip or somehow make it so it can be installed via Linux.

I cant post in the CyanogenMod thread and was wondering if anyone else could confirm this issue. I've never seen it reported anywhere and a search yielded no similar results. Anytime I try to change my lock screen icons to custom icons stored on my phone's internal SD card they always eventually revert to stock. Sometimes the settings dialog even crashes.
Has anyone else had this happen? I'm too noob to logcat...

I am having difficulty with a particular app, and the developer is asking me to send a bug report to help him figure out what is wrong.
I am currently on an un-rooted Spring SIII running 4.1.2.
When I go to "Developer Options" there is no option to "Take Bug Report".
Everywhere I read says that this option should have been added to 4.1.2 release of Android, but it isn't there.
Note: Developer Options is in my menu, so there's no need to do the "Tap on the build number until you unlock it" trick. Developer options are there, just not the option to take a bug report.
I've tried Googling and searching the forums to no avail. I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I believe you can do this through adb.
