I have this case and looks nice and works well. Its a little bit on the bigger side but feels nice. I've had for five months but didn't use it because I have ghost armor and it wouldn't fit in till I took off the armor.
probably no point in asking this, but might as well. Is it real carbon fiber?

Yeah its just a case.
Its not real carbon fiber.
looks bulky to me.....
Not really feeling it.
I'd prefer if the weave was diagonal like the CF skin I'm using. It'd look more like actual carbon fiber.
I bought the other official vibrant case from samsung and so far its been the worse case yet. It falls apart easy and the volume and power buttons are hard to get to unless you have very tiny fingers. So far my favorite case has been the body glove one. But it is bulky.

Cool thanks for the info and good to know! I also have the Body Glove one, and while it is bulky, it definitely serves its purpose of being tough and protecting the phone.

I am using the Taurus Version, and Yellow. Love it.
The contour of the case and and design, fits like a GLOVE!!

Do these things actually protect well? I feel like the impact would be transferred to the device more so than a TPU/silicone case. Sure they look nice, but I don't feel like they are practical.

When I got it, it was installed by a friend of mine, the in between the case and phone, have a silicone cushion build on the case. The phone do budge or move at all.
I guess the silicone cushion is made for shock absorption.
The Taurus looks nice but damn if they make that sweet one in Gunmetal gray I'm getting it!

They do have the Gun Metal color!! But its Not Cheap tho, Ships from Korea, the Only Retailer.

Something like Taurus isnt a full case but a bumper.
The battery cover isnt covered by metal, so it wont heat at all.

Anyone know where you can order the sweet armor one online? I can't seem to find it on google at all, might be using the wrong search codes though but still. I do like the gunmetal taurus one as well.

yup made from aluminum. it will break easy if dropped, but it protect the cellphone

kinda like that But you shouldnt drop your phone anyway. Its better to break a 20-30$ bumper than a 600$ phone
I have a taurus one at the moment, if I drop it and it break, ill just go with a walnut one. Im using it because it fit with the 3200-3500mA battery. If I could get an otterbox for extended battery I would, but they wont make one

Having one of these cases I can confirm they are excellent, especially if you use the Note as an ereader it reduces hand/wrist strain. It also has an integrated kick stand for video viewing. However the material is nt moleskin, more a faux leather exterior with a soft suede like inner finish. I think the OP meant Moleskine, like the notebooks, which have a black oiled paper cover which looks a bit like thin leather, not moleskin.
The Zenus and MFit covers can be found on eBay.

Simply because the reviewer said it was loose, it is. Probably enough to get the phone+Rock on with a bit of work. Accepts mine no problem with a flip cover, which has a wider case back and the front flap. Not bad quality either.
Thanks for the reply! In the end, I took a chance and ordered the genuine Samsung Galaxy Note pouch which fits the combo perfectly.

You guys mind taking some shots of the S3 in note's pouch? I wanna see how snugly it fits into the pouch, and how easy it will be to take out.
I'm using the rock quicksand as well and I have been looking for comfort fit neoprene pouch, nothing skin tight.

The phone fits firmly in the note case but is also extremely easy to remove - if you squeeze the edges of the pouch together, the phone slips out freely.
Couldn't ask for more!

Nice! but it looks like it's made of leather (or faux leather). what's the inside like? same material? suede? I'm just paranoid of how it may scratch my screen. hence I've been looking for neoprene materials all these while. my nillkin protector is dry application hence doesn't cover everything. you reckon it'll be safe from scratches?
Looks like they don't have it locally though. Gonna need to order online....

The inside is a suede type material so shouldn't scratch the phone.

Youre worried about the 2 millimeter space around the screen protector that is of no actual use anyway? (which is also made of gorilla glass 2 and I have to assume it can withstand some soft suede)

I think I'm going to get the Krussell Luna 4XL pouch. I already have a KaysCase and I think the 3XL pouch would fit my phone only but with the case on it I think the 4XL would be a better fit.

any experience with the Luna 4XL yet? Got a Quicksand merely out of curiosity and I am so much impressed of the haptics it adds, don't want to return it. Still, more important to me is a pouch that protects the phone, especially the screen when it's in my pocket, laptop case, backpack, etc.
I hab pretty good experiences, case-wise with the Noreve on my HD2, but the S3 with the Quicksand so far did not fit into any of the pouches I tried. Placed an order for the Krusell, even though the Quicksand is thicker than the specs for the Luna are (10.8 vs 10 mm). We'll see how it fits...

Got this case on Monday and have been using it since. While the color isnt quite what I want for an everyday case it does feel and look nice. All the buttons are exposed as well as the charging port. Haven't noticed any flash bleed. Has a slightly slick feel but not enough where I feel like it's going to fall out of my hand. I'd definitely recommend it to someone looking for a slim case.

Just received my Zukin case and I have to say its really nice, very thin but seems that it is sturdy enough, all corners are covered and fits nice and snug. It has a good feel grippy enough but not too harsh if holding for a long period. Only one thing, there is no hole for a lanyard to fit through, which for me is..... I just like to have a lanyard for security especially when taking photos, but this does not reflect on build quality. Overall, great price and look from Zukin.
