I believe that bug was around other devices with cm7.2. At least when i had my Atrix it was there.

Yeah, I had it on my Nexus One as well. Never liked that set up so the bug never affected me. I always used the middle ring to launch apps (camera, Gmail, FB, etc...).

As much as I would love some CM7, any help to speed up the process for CM9 would be greatly appreciated.
Eugene, thank you for breathing life back into the Dev section. Seems like the whole forum is a-buzz and anxiously awaiting your work.
I really hope you make a Sr build.
NFC and Wifi calling never worked on CM7 as well. Wifi calling is weird because it's actually baked into the ROM instead of an app like other phones.

Do I have to do anything special to make these work? As soon as I click update profile or update PRL it comes back as failed instantly, then asks if I want to try again and repeats the same fail.

I figured I might as well start a new thread for this since we have taken over the development and maintenance of this Rom.
We couldn't have made it nearly as far as we have without these people (listed in no particular order):
-Protekk
-aeroevan
-twistedumbrella
-grouper
-palmercurling
-times_infinity
-superkid
-Google
-sbrissen
-OMJ
-HTC
-touchpro
-jcase
-CM
This rom is still in pre-alpha stages. Test at your own risk. It includes GAPPS, SU, etc..
* I shouldn't even have to say this, but I know I do: We are not responsible for anything bad that happens to your phone!!
* We will try to keep up with all questions posted here but please remember that the more time we spend answering questions, the less time we have to work on the rom.
http://xda.silentjoker.com/rm2011/IceCreamSandwich/Roms/NTSH_BETA_1.zip
I will start with what IS working:
-now booting from system
-SD card now works
-Radio working
-3G
-Wifi
-EGL
-audio
NOT working:
-USB mount
-camera
ICS
You are awesome!
Thanks for being a superhero! I personally would love an AOSP Ice Cream Sandwich rom without CM's customizations. Keep it up

Haha, thanks but I can't take all the credit. Touchpro has been doing the majority of the big changes, I am just trying to keep everything organized and up to date for everyone, and offer what I can. I think that is what is missing from a lot of roms. All the other devs listed on my github have also contributed.

The build that's on the git is from the sdk.
I just ported a source one from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1338636
It's booting w/ boot manager. I haven't done anything with it yet.
I hope someone can get this booting from the system w/ the touchscreen drivers.
If anyone needs me to send them something just pm.

Okay their basically all the same just cm9 is a step up for custumization then just plain aosp but here goes Aokp a customizable beast its so much u can do in aokp thats why i like it
We had to write a custom radio class for this device to get everything working, however you can cherry pick our git.
So does aokp stand for android open kernel project? I know aosp is android open source project, or did i just divide by zero?

bandaid for the no in-call audio
..Cory..
This is the commit that broke the incall audio:
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/31864/
If you revert it locally before you build, the in-call audio issue will be gone.
I just figure if somebody is going to put unofficial builds out here, might as well make them functional.
I've been building with this revert since mikeyman77 of Teamchopsticks figured out what commit was causing the issue.
I would post, but there are too many cm10.1 threads already.
Also, Teamchopsticks is very hard at work debugging the issue.
They're trying to find the root cause of the issue, not just revert a commit that only causes issues for a few devices.

Add the non 4G variant to the goo.im page
as the building being done for my device is now taken over by Unjustified, I will no longer be providing updates to this rom in here of the non 4g section. hopefully the devs who build for my device will also do builds for both crespo devices.
the most recent updates are pretty damn good on this rom so hopefully you guys will get another build soon.
there's a different rom that could use some testing up on goo for you guys to try out if you'd like. for this and the non 4g variant
