I have one of those HongDa Power 3600mAh extended batteries for the Galaxy Nexus GSM... I'm a noob so I can't post a link to it, but they sell them as "hongdapower799" on ebay.
It's a 3600mAh extended battery for the GNex GSM version made by some company in Hong Kong. Battery Monitor Widget Pro estimates it between 2600-2750mAh, which is a nice, big improvement. I definitely notice an increase in life. It sucks that we can't get the Seidio 3800 battery with GSM, but at least we have something.
Does anyone else have one of these? What kinds of estimated mAh values do you get in Battery Monitor Widget?
Oh yeah... Also, has anyone tested this battery out with the Seidio extended Surface case designed for use with their 3800mAh battery? I ordered one and I'll test it out and post the results here, but if anyone has tried this and failed, I'll just send it back without opening it, lol.
I can't find this Hongda Power battery.
Here is the ebay listing for the battery:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-3600mAh...Nexus-Google-Galaxy-Nexus-i9250-/260921234182
And here is the listing for the Seidio case:
http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-nexus-surface-extended-case-black-p/csr2ssgnlx2-bk.htm
I have confirmed that the Seidio case is indeed a PERFECT fit with the phone containing the Chinese battery. Like PERFECT. And the battery is consistently rated at over 2600mAh. Not only that, the battery was a replacement for another one I got from HongDa which didn't have great capacity. The guy sent me another without charge. This combo is definitely recommended for anyone who wants to get more battery life on a budget!

So, if I understand you correctly, you got a battery with really poor capacity followed by good customer service and a replacement battery that consistantly achieves ~70% of it's rated capacity. And this qualifies for a high recomendation.
I'm not suggesting anything bad (or even out of the ordinary) regarding this seller or this battery, but I think that as consumers we've become far too accepting of battery shenanigans all around.

Just curious. How did you determine that it is rated at ~2600mAH (which is 25% of what it is advertised at) ?
Welcome.
For some time, I looking to buy extended battery, because the stock battery works for me too short.
Already considering increased battery 2000 mAh Samsung, but that does not give too much more than stock.
The second idea was the Seidio 3800 battery, but this expense is getting a bit too big.
And the third idea is to External Battery Case.
Cost is much better than the Seidio, and if I'm counting (2200 mAh Extended Battery + 1750 stock battery) it even gives you more energy.
Can anyone use it already?
How is it exercised?
It seems to me to work like as a charger permanently connected, so it is not an additional battery, but charger, which is non-stop charge the battery.
Do not destroy / reduce battery life?
And did this significantly increases the size of the phone?
Is it possible to choose the cover?
As for the Seidio, a little do not succeed in choosing the right kit.
The manufacturer's website there are several, and I myself do not really know what they are different.
I need one that will enable me to mount the 3800 mah battery and attach the phone to your belt.
Thank you
I have had sedeio extended batteries before and they where great. I have also has a charger case it was powerskin brand but I must say it sucked. The charger case I had made my phone really hot. I'm planning on buying the extended battery and convert case since I need battery life and protection. And I believe it comes with a belt hook

I got the Seidio extended battery too. I also have the case that comes with it. It's big but it hasn't been a problem for me since it eliminated the charging-all-day hassle.
Hi, I was wondering what the highest capacity battery was without having to replace the back cover?
I know of the anker 1900mah, what about the Samsung 2000mah? Also, what do you guys think of buying no name batteries that are advertised as 1900mah?
I've bought no name batteries for my HTC incredible s before, I bought an 1800mah battery which gave me the exact same battery life as a 6 month old stock 1450mah battery, so thoughts?
EDIT: I'm a stickler for thinness so even if a back plate adds 1mm to it, i don't want it, I've had enough of my thick as stars HTC incredible s
the samsung 2000mah battery gives you a new back cover and makes your phone a little bid thicker, but not much. Most hard cases will still tightly fit
This would be your best option, as you are sure it will be 2000mah.
I myself got the 1900mah anker battery and dont really see any difference with it... It is about the same as stock. My 2000mah battery is arriving soon ^^
There are enouf pictures/movies of the 2000mah batter, there you can see how big it is I myself think it will make the phone easyer in the hand
Do instead of it having a bulge at the bottom, now everywhere is as thick as the bulge?

yes!
I only get 2.5 hours screen on time with data most of the time off with my 1900 anker battery, which is same/worse than default battery.
I think your safest/best choice is the samsung's official 2000mah battery. Do know that many slim cases wont fit anymore.
You can clearly see the size here:

Oh yes, since I'm getting a slightly bigger case along with the 2000mah battery, why not get something with even more capacity? What's the largest capacity that will fit in the back plate that comes with the 2000mah extended battery?

2000 mah
You can buy even bigger ones, but they will be 2-3x bigger in size.
And if 3rd party batterymakers say it holds 3500 mah, it actually is only 2500.
Size-quality wise, the official is the best by far!
And if you are really scared of running out of batteries when you are on vacation or something, just get a 2nd battery? This way you can switch battery whenever you want. And you will always have a spare fully charged battery with you

alright cool, thanks lots for your help, been mostly an androidforums Guy, don't come here often
I have quite contrast opinion and experience on Anker battery on my SGS2. It mathematically holds some 16% more juice, but actually performs with 20-25% improvement. My friend who bought one for his Note (both orig and Anker are 2500mAh) says Anker holds up 15% longer (orig would drain every day between 7 and 8 pm, and Anker holds for another hour and a half, approx). It fits your original back cover, and I think it is worth trying.

Oh that sounds good, but don't companies like Anker, Chichitec and mugen "overadvertise" their battery capacities? A 1900mAh would be maybe a 1500mAh and a 1800mAh would be a 1400mAh?
Oh and did you compare your Anker 1900mAh to a new stock battery or one that's maybe 6 months old?
get the 2000 mah battery from samsung, its great, doesnt make the phone any thicker but it makes enough of a difference mate!

Anker is not overadvertisig its batteries like some Chinese factories. When I first tested Anker, my stock battery was some 3 months old. You should know that Anker batteries (as well as stock ones) need some 5 complete charges to start to act fully with their capacity, so do the test not the same moment when you buy the battery, but after 5-6 charges. I am using Anker battery now 99% of the time, and keep my stock one at home, full, just in case I need the phone full urgently. Every time I keep stock battery in phone I can see how it's depleated faster, so Anker is still better than stock one, some 8 months after using it heavily.
My stock battery is always on 15-20% at the end of the working day (from 8am to 22h-midnight), empty by midnight on weekends. Anker can withstand one day + night + morning shift on working days, and full day on the weekend, with some juice left.
Oh, and I use battery circle with % on it, so I can pretty accurately monitor
how fast is my battery draining while on internet, watching video, playing games (you don't see the % during the game, but you see it before and after), calling etc.
ho guys I found on a forum here on my country/county this announcement: http://forum.anunturi-galati.ro/index.php?/topic/335260-acumulator-baterie-samsung-galaxy-sii-i9100/

Se vede ca-i chinezarie cea din link. Daca nu ma insel, pe cea mai ieftina baterie OEM de 2000 mAh am vazut-o la Orange Shop, 17 euro costa.
Cheers.
I last saw one that made the s2 just 1mm thicker I will post it when I find it again
i think the best extended battery you could get without any noticeable/annoying bulges, is the legit 2000mAh from Samsung.. it does not cost that much considering that it is not some hoax and it also comes with their custom back cover for the extended batter.. I don't trust Chinese products entirely
I tried googling, but to no avail. Does anyone know of an Extended Battery Kit for the Active?
I've yet to see one because I doubt anyone (meaning a company) will be able to create one that retains the water-resistant capability of the GS4A. Your best bet may be the Mugen 2750 mAh battery for the GS4 which appears to be the highest capacity that still retains the stock battery size. That's pretty much the best and only option for any "extended" battery runtime.
Oh, and if you see anything on eBay or wherever that claims higher than the Mugen at 2750 mAh run from 'em 'cause they're BS as always.
Extended battery
Its not even available on Amazon....waiting for Anker to launch one...
A little pricey, and not sure of the actual specs, but here is one I found on Ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-3700mAh..._Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item338648e7ab
I just did a quick glance. You can look around more if you please.
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trk...ery&_nkw=S4+active+battery&_sacat=0&_from=R40
I wouldn't trust that any further than I could throw it.
If Mugen can't get 3700mAh into a standard size GS4/GS4A battery, ain't nobody else going to be able to do it either, that's my position. Mugen makes a 2750mAh as I noted above and that's pretty much the best we're going to get for the GS4A. That so-called 3700mAh model, nah, I don't believe that capacity for a single moment.
If someone wants to take a chance on it, however, more power to you (pun very much intended).
For us GS4A owners, the Anker or Hyperion dual battery (meaning you get 2 of 'em) and charger setup is probably going to be the best for 'extended' battery life most likely. I'm still considering that myself but I've got 3 batteries already (one Samsung official that's a few weeks old and 2 cheap Chinese counterfeit ones without NFC capability).
Just buy a new baterry
Zero Lemon 3000 for I9295
I tried Zero Lemon 3000 for I9295 (Galaxy Active), but it too sick for this model.
Even when i removed paper from battery it looks like no 100% feet.
You won't retain your water resistance, but I've used the ZeroLemon 7500mah in my S4 Active and wrapped electrical tape around it to keep it in place.
Not the prettiest looking, but the battery life is out of this world.
I bought the S4 Active for the LCD screen anyways, not for the water protection.

No Extended battery for one person do. If you really want, the factory can do it.
I like it
@shamima wireless charger on s4 active? it is still waterproof after installing receiver?
I am planed to buy a extended battery. I found Link Dream 3.7V 3200mAh Battery(stock battery size). Is it good? anyone using this battery?
Link Dream 3.7V 3200mAh Battery
OR Any other good extended battery?
OEM Samsung 3000maH kit is better - look on ebay for it. Includes updated backcover too.

That is not available in ebay india Are you using Samsung 3000maH? can you share your battery life?
Have you not considered the 7000mAh battery by Zerolemon? I have had mine now for nearly 2 years and would find it hard to go back to a lesser battery. Its a bit bulky but its nice not having to think of how much battery life remains on my phone I get 2 days of pretty heavy usage with around 10 hours screen on time.
oem or compatible battery
I'm finally ready for a new higher capacity battery. There are batteries on ebay, but im worried they may be overrated or may bulge or explode. Any recommendations for a cheap high capacity battery and a reputable ebay seller?
Any reputed manufacturer for these high capacity batteries?
I just bought and tested a Link Dream 2500mAh battery and it had less than half the stated capacity, so I'd suggest getting a more conservatively rated battery from a credible source.
