What is the fastest mod with Android 2.3.7? Cm or splashMOD or some else?
Sorry for bad English

Actually they are almost the same, except the fact that splashmod is tweaked and has a better performance feeling, but ofcourse you can do that manually with cm7. I personally have cm7.2 rc1, and it runs veeery smooth. Your choice.

Fastest Gingerbread ROM for me was Oxygen. (For more and for links look at my reviews thread.)

CM 7.2.0.RC1 or SplashMod 2.0 are almost the same.
Previously, I use SplashMod 2.0 and just change to CM 7.2.0.RC1.
I found out both MOD run very fast.
--------------
ROM : CyanogenMod-7.2.0-RC1-buzz
Kernal : 2.6.35.14-nFinity [email protected]#1
Radio : 13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10

They seem to be the same because they are the same. The dev of SplashMod just took the CM7 .zip and added/removed apps.

I am in need of advise from users whether the gingerbread
Roms are stable enough for every day use
I am currently on droidzones starburst so go on
What have you got and what's good what's missing
what wouldn't you recommend
Stable versions are usually working, nightlies may have issues (CM7 So far have nightlies)
I am using GB a few months.
And what's missing and what's not - go and read a bit in each ROM's thread.
Then decide yourself
I see no reason to keep Froyo.
I am switching from time to time between InsertCoin stable (current 1.1.0) and Oxygen (current 2.2.1)
Check out the G1 Android Development and try the different stable ROMs.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=448
Gingerbread it. Cyanongenmod is full of options, Oxygen is stable and fast and then there's all the sense ROMs. I would suggest trying one of those two.
PHONE: HTC Desire GSM, S-OFF
ROM: Redux2 Snapshot 18082011
RADIO: 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2
KERNEL: thalamus 2.6.35.14_r1
I suggest to try:
Sense: InsertCoin 1.1.1
AOSP : Oxygen 2.2.1
give leedroid a try as well ( good battery life )
Cyanogenmod 7.1 is fast and stable give it a go

Hello all,
I want to install custom ROM. Now i am using the stock one. I have tried Oxygen 6 months ago but somehow did not get use to it. I want my new ROM have:
1) Stable and fast
2) FULL RTL support (notifications, gmail, calendar etc...)
3) Good battery life
4) Sense ( may also be without i just don't want to mess with lunchers and milion 3d part programs)
I don't want million build in programs wallpapers, themes etc... In market there is everything i need.
About A2SD or Data++, stock Hboot or modified, ext4 or ext3? i don't know. i need the most reliable solution with maximum memory but without problems in installation of programs ( i heard there is a problem with modified hboot and data++ but there is a solution).
Please advice
Runnymede AIO V5.0.1 Special Edition
It's a SENSE 3.5 ROM and it's full offeatures but u can disable what u want over the install visual platform (chose Cuztumized Install and check/unckeck what u want to install)
It's really amazing how this ROM is running well so far!!!
AIO stands for "All In One." It essentially is a single install, with apps 2 sd, tweaking options and all sense 3.5 bits included. You just flash the Rom and you are good to go.
Definetly Sebs Runnymede AIO 5.0.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1315961) - the best Sense ROM nowdays. If you use CM7r2 HBOOT, you can use AD2SDX script (selectable during instalation) which is imho better then regular APP2SD (I use it and now I have 800MB of free "internal memory").
Personally I've been using This rom since I rooted it. Stable. Pieces of sense 2.1 and 3 in it and generally quite a nice rom
thank you all
any more suggestions? is not sense 3.5 a bit slow?

Nah, it's perfect irregardless of a not so short list of what's not working.

I would suggest you try tamirda 's RevolutioN 3.0 rom. After that everything else will seem slow to you.
ROM choose
i thought about RevolutioN ROM but i did not figured it out about all the versions and revolution 3d. What is the difference? what is the newest? i read in a hebrew forum that there is revolution v4. is it better? is there problem with overheat?
I wouldn't choose a Sense 3.0/3.5 ROM, if you want maximum Stability try Supernovas ROM, the other Sense 1.9 ROMS or the AOSPs.
If you want a very stable more eye-candy Sense Rom with maybe a bit less speed then the ROMs I mentioned before, try InsertCoin or Revolution. They are 2.1/3.0 Hybrids.
I myself am using InsertCoin for a few months now and havent experienced any failures yet.

Not 3d. Try the normal RevolutioN ROM. Difference: it's faster. Revolution v4: first time I've heard of it...
look at the toppic

any more suggestions
what about mildfire or miui
Tried Revolution for a month, but found it laggy various places.
I would recommend AN-droid, may only be sense 1.9 (original Desire) but very fast, stable and with apps2sd.

+1 for AN-droid.
For me, Runnymede AIO V5 is not good enough. I tried several version but after 4-5 days, the rom becomes very slow.
just flashed beta ics and is looking great no probs so far!
[★★ SMS ★★ ] by ★ RSK TEAM ★ with AMAZE CAM [v.3.0.2][CM7/R2][17.01.12]

Mate You as per Your specs... I can say that you are already with the best kernel...
indeed nFinity is the best kernel currently.

nFinity is the best kernel at present.
Without wanting to dissappoint you, i flashed infinityplay (v10 flashable) on erwinp's e14 (nightly) and my phone wouldn't recognize any wifi after 1-2 days. I don't think you will actually have a prob on the rom you use, but if you do please state it. Thanks.

infinity by arco (your kernel) or infinityplay by keiran (more governors and IO scheduler)
Hello all,
Which custom rom and kernel you would recommend for better performance for sony ericsson arc. Model number: LT15i, Ver: 2.3.4, Kernel version 2.6.32.9-perf, build number 4.0.2.A.0.62. rooted. I'm noob so I appreciate any help.
Try JJ's hybrid ROM (I'm using 2.3b) with ArcKnight kernel (I'm using Version 8).
The ROM is fast, light, and stable (2.3b was a tad buggy but I have high hopes for 2.4 ), and the kernel is solid too.
Find them here (newer versions):
JJ's ROM

ArcKnight Kernel

If it is performance you want, then cm9 is the best. Only downside is battery life is quite bad.

Hi,
I tried to flash CM9 but somehow after flashing with the CM9 Kernel and restarting the phone, the screen goes blank. Nothing comes up...
I dont know the reason but i tried a couple of times but same thing happened.
The ROM i found best was TEAM ROM HDPI with Doomkernel.
Again it depends on indvidual likes IMO...
What is some good rom with CM9 and where i can found TEAM ROM HDPI ?
you can find the list of ROMs in
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1572904.
You have TEAM ROM HDPi there
My 2 cents
Ya CM9 is the fastest and slickest, still buggy tho, video camera and hdmi connection not working, but I love the speed, coming from a nexus one backgroup, AOSP is my cup of tea.
For now, I'm testing JJHybrid V2.4, so far so good.. give it a go.
I just went from jj's hybrid rom 2.3b to 2.4b to miui v5 and it is mega fast in comparison, I use doomkernel too

Hello, can someone advice a stable rom for wildfire?
All I need - phone, battlife, minimalistic (clean) and lagfree, .
I look into CM7 but here are CM stable, nightly etc. as for my other phone, I using nightly ROM and it very stable, what situation with wildfire?
Thanks, If question asked before, please point me on it.
My personal opinion would be to just go for CM7 ginger bread is the most stable rom others like CM9 have a few minor bugs.

You can see this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2075259
On wildfire, most stable roms are sense based roms.
I'd say, most stable include Jokerdroid 4.3, rem puzzle, kwbr rom, cm7.2 nightly ( jan build )
All roms above are stable, fast and with no bugs.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda premium
I would say, for fast speed and simple look, and overall just simple, IMO
1. CM7 NIGHTLY 2013 (Screenshot taking bug, you can use mdpi ics theme, its fabulous if u ask me )
2. kwbr rom (No bugs)
3. RemPuzzle_2.83 (Wifi icon bug, showing full signal no matter what, but if we put that aside, with some tweaking can be very good)
Hope it helps...
Odp: Most stable rom for Wildfire
Rem puzzle, kwbr, jokerdroid, cm7 both stable and latest nightly, cm9 by jordfaz and erwin's cm9 (;
