An new awesome rom for our gio!!

Hello evryone
We are making an awesome rom based on gingerbread 2.3.6.
We are working verry hard but we have our study too.

But theming via kitchen is easy
But I need cygwin and kitchen for root and deodexing..
Stuck at cigwin 'clear' application is not found when typed ./menu in cygwin for use of kitchen tool
Any help would be appreciated

Wait I still don't get this.. Is this gingerbread aosp? Or just a awesome rom?

I hope I hope the camera battery is resistant to radio works .. I hope will be a stable mode operation of all of these features need to be your difference .. because until now none of the modes at the same time, unfortunately these features do not come easy .. ..

Just 2.3.6 european base, themed, modded,barebones etc..
But theres still a lot of work, and the title needs to be changed

Hmmm
What sort of rom will it be?
Just a simple rom with a theme?
Or is it heavly modded and source changes?

Modded, but with a very clean system, I found out many many apps can be removed, really improves speed, tweaked, rooted, deodex..
But im currently stuck so any help will be appreciated

Havent u tried xultimate for.deodexing? Or use a rom cleaner for deodexing (like my dxkt4 autodeodexing) ?'hehe.
For rooting, u just place your su.binary to /system/bin and symlink it to system/xbin. Or directly place to./system/xbin
And, dont forget to set perm.
Or u just find GB root update zip.
And use it

Why? Just.pull from a running phone.and do deodex.
U will look origin_app & origin_frame for undeodexed.
And, done_app & done_frame for deodexed.
Take them and push into yours

Ok Tried everything but nothing worked for deodexing! So I went back to Dsixda's Kitchen and deodex! Worked like a charm! Remember that you ust deodex framework first the apps! --Thanks to spacecaker!

I use Official ICS ROM 4.0.3 LPD, and I use ICS Domination theme by Vertumus

Yeah aborted because new CWM version in JB.
Install manual using root explorer, extract zip file, copy all file to system, fix permission ''rw r r" and move file to each folder

Edit : file apk move to folder app, file txt move to folder etc>permission, and file jar move to folder framework

Better not. Pimp my Rom already offers alot of build.prop tweaks, so you can just delete its Init.d scripts and use this. ^^

As long as your kernel has Init.d support then you can use it.

Thank you for the release i wanna try it but i don't remember if i installed any tweaks, so if i flash again my rom without wiping data, all the eventually installed tweaks will be deleted?

Go to system/etc. If you see a folder name Init.d then it will work.

maybe on galaxy w you must clear your folder init.d before flashing this and do nandroid backup :highfive: because that mod is on a galaxy sII

if u have backup,then just restore it..if not,try open that mode using root explorer..delete file which is in that file on your phone..

have u tried removing ur seeder first b4 installing it? some performance tweaks/ mods are not effective when both installed. but maybe, coz its for sgs2

nope, i install it after i installed seeder, but its ok, now i flash another new rom, im avoiding to install this tweak, thanks anyway :fingers-crossed:

it's a Chinese phone and I will share framework-res.apk ans systemui.apk

If gb and its stock it will be hard cz i need to add some smali for date clock etc....and no device to test
If cm9+up i can help cz every cm9/10.10.1/it will be easier cz use same layout and same code on statusbar.xml
But if u want do it your self u can see my rom called Mi-ussr v10 for galaxy young its gb themed rom do a comparisson betwen each statusbar.xml
And make it similiar to it but use your dip or px for your device
