How do I remove the swipe to unlock on stock rom? - Xperia Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My problem is that I want to keep the pattern unlock, but I dont need the swipe to unlock on there was well. I've been looking around in the settings but cant find anything.
I am rooted, but stuck on the rogers stock rom.
thanks.

Try No Lock

Thanks for the reply, but it didn't work. As I thought it removed both the slide lock and the unlock pattern. I want to keep the unlock pattern. I would preferr it not be an app if that's possible.

I don't think there's a way to do that on a stock rom, only CyanogenMod

Unlock screen help

I have activated unlock pattern for unlocking the screen on my SGS, now I want to go back to the original unlock mirror. How do I do that.
When I try to untick Require pattern in Location and security it goes to change unlock pattern, where I need to give a new pattern. I think there's a bug in my SGS.
Any help?
It asks you to confirm your current unlock pattern when you untick Require Pattern. Just put it in and it should be fine.

I truly wish you had not answered this question. People are so dumb these days it pisses me off. Why is a question this dumb in the development area in the first place.

In most roms, opening your slider should unlock phone without touchscreen. Or you can search play store for 3rd party unlock screen that work with your damaged digitizer. Or make unlock pattern with pattern that you can use on your touchscreen. Last, if none of above work for you, disable lockscreen...

Thanks, but I can not do anything, because is lockscreen and I can´t access anything. I thought there would be a combination of keys that will help me.

What rom? What kernel? What model - i/a/x? Bootloader locked/unlocked?
Opening slider don't unlock phone?
In worst case, you can do factory reset  and disable lockscreen on first boot

Is it safe to relock the bootloader?

Hi, I recently unlocked bootloader, than flashed a kernel which gave me root also, and then installed some apps than need root.
Since I unlocked the bootlader, every time I turn on the watch, a waring error appears and booting time has largely increased.
1) If if follow the same procedure to unlock, is it possible in the menu to lock it again?
2) If n.1 is possible... is it safe with a watch rooted and a custom kernel? Or do I brick something?
3) Will root and kernel still work if I lock again the watch?
Thanks

It's completely safe. If the watch runs properly before lock, it will run properly after lock. The only thing that will change is your ability to flash unsigned images using fastboot. Keep in mind though that it will automatically factory reset if you choose to unlock it again.
Lock it using the command fastboot oem lock
If it will reset, this won't realize what I need. Thanks for this useful advise!

Boot unlock with fingerprint

Just curious if anyone has tried to change the first boot unlock procedure so that it can be unlocked with fingerprint instead of a pin as I don't like leaving it on swipe.

The only way I know of is through an Xposed module but Xposed only goes up to Android 7. It's a safety feature google put into Android, there were some custom ROMs for the Nexus 6p that had the feature, so maybe we will see it in the future in a custom Rom.

Any way to remove unlocked bootloader message?

I do not want to relock my bootloader, but I want to get rid of the nag screen at boot that bootloader is unlocked. Just in case my phone will get into wrong hands that is like an open invitation to hack it.
I remember I used to replace this logo with a neutral black screen on one of my previous devices. Isn't that possible anymore nowdays?
Yes, I understand that is not a perfect security. A perfect security is if my phone will be kept in a safe in a swiss bank with keys lost. Just trying not to give obvious hints.
EDIT:
LOL sorry I don't know how but I missed first 8 words in Your post. Don't read my reply it won't help.
Hi.
I was converting from Tmobile to global. To get rid from that messege I simply locked the bootloader. I'm not sure if u want to lock it or you are looking for some kind of way around it. If you would like to do it remember its very important to do it after taking OTA otherwise you can have some problems with your phone. That was mine steps:
Unlock bootloader.
Flash global.
Do OTA.
Lock bootloader with "fastboot oem lock".
Hope it helps. Regards.
