Does anyone else find Gmail's presentation of attachments incredibly annoying? I have to first scroll through all attachment view/save dialogs before I can read the actual email. Is there a setting I'm missing?

I find it useful since I receive a lot of travel itineraries as PDF. Get me to it immediately.
Used to be at the bottom in gingerbread right?

I agree. Every time i get a newsletter, all the pictures attached is shown before i see the mail itself.. I'm hoping for an update from google with switchability in settings..
Yeah, it used to be at the bottom... Where do you submit feature requests for the Gmail app?

Really not a big fan of this either.

I'm noticing the description text for many of my calendar events is cut off partway. Any ideas of how this could be remedied? I'm on stock 4.0.1 rooted, yakjuux.
Compare the web calendar screenshot with the Calendar app.

I see this same issue running 4.0.2. The only way I have found to get all of the description is to hit edit.

Useful to know - but these are events imported from a feed of my Facebook events, which means that the edit option does not appear.
I invite everyone to star this issue:

I've heard that it works properly on Nexus S ICS, but not on ours. I wonder why.

I think most android UID's are particular to your phone. I.e what is 10016 to you may be a different app to me. However, judging by the icon its possibly a native android application that hasn't fully loaded its label or icon. Mine does this occasionally, but exiting and going back in usually solves it. Maybe news and weather app?

I think is G+....

It looks like you are correct. Do you have G+ set to automatically upload all taken photos and videos over the cell network?
nop, all turn off
Back story - was trying to share a video with my friend over wifi direct instead of bluetooth for a change and noticed the is no settings for it. he has the HTC one X and the is a settings menu for him but non for us.
Am on AOKP if that helps but am surprised as I wasn't able to search for his device and the traditional wifi settings didn't have any options.
What do you think? And is there and app or a way to do it.

We're all waiting for this matter to be revealed and addressed (look here). Funny thou, the manufacturer provided the functionality but not the software to use it!?
I really got surprised with this
I know where the middle section is systemui/ battery.XML but I can find where the stuff circled in red are. Smali? or an XML? On top of that, not even sure where the yield icon is. Any help would be great. I also checked framework apk but I didn't see ne thing there either

I'm thinking it must be because of the SMS threading but the incompatibility business kinda blows.

But if you use the messenger within the Facebook app is working with the new bubbles layout.

It's rolling out, sooner or later. The Verge said it's being released to select devices (ie my Nexus S isn't getting any love too)
EDIT: Just became avaible for my Nexus S, so maybe it's rolling out faster than we expected
Yeah it's weird as I understand it the limited availability only relates to the text function
Here's the apk in any case

Thanks man, works well
