:-) like button on music player works...!!!

I hv read that if you have unlocked bootloader then you can't like the music you are playing because of some drm issues...
Today I tried and it worked... I went straight to Facebook and saw my like listed there... Never worked before... But I guess its working now...
I hv unlocked bootloader and running rooted UK Rom ...!!!
I guess track id should also work...!!!

Its not a troll dude... I don't need to create one... Can show you my Facebook page if you want...
And I've downloaded the firmware and rooted system image from kanzone's thread...
When I tried second time it failed, then again tried when the song was 75% played and that worked... After that it works flawlessly...
Just let the first song play for about 75% percent...!!!

LOL!!!
I just tried the Like button. It was working fine, but I think Track ID got something badly wrong. ^^
So instead of

You don't know by chance if there's a place where you can report errors in the Track ID database? ^^

Direct copy paste in mass storage mode...!!!

Im trying to use the music player’s new “Like” button to post my “liked” songs on facebook. It works fine as long as im on wifi network, but when i use my 3g Network, it gives me an error that says “could not post to facebook, please try again”. Before you ask, i havent unlocked my bootloader and other features such as facebook photos in gallery and contacts work fine over my 3G connection. Just this one feature giving error over 3G.
Can anyone help?

It just started to work for me from today.. on wifi. Haven't tested 3g yet

EDIT - just tested mine and still no dice..

Music searcher app

Does anyone have an issue with the music searcher app not functioning properly anymore? Haven't used it in awhile and its not finding any music.

Try clearing cache and data for music searcher in app manager. Also did you restore data?

issue here too, browsing charts fine but I tried many common bands with no success.

Took it off my phone. Just keeps saying no connection which is bs my wifi is 65mbps on my phone the best you can get.

I found that you just keep hitting search and it will eventually work. Should only take 3-4 times max.

Hey Guys i brought you the apk of an app that unfortunatly got removed off the google play for mesterious reasons :/ it's the famous music player that comes with cm9/cm10(.1)
It's the Famous APOLLO music player.. [!Not The Paid Version!] I managed to get the apk from a friend of mine, apollo is compatible with all Roms (all android versions) just download it (from the link bellow) and Illuminate Your Music

change .zip to .apk and install it as normal app

Great app but I don't no if anyone else has this problem but when you press the music icon in the bottom left corner it force closes. I'm using Droidace rom if that helps

Yep. It's considered warez by CM and AOKP. But I do not know ow XDA will treat it.

For me the app runs fine but I get this warning message (basically it says Google Wallet don't support rooted devices). Haven't tried using nfc payment yet.

are you rooted or on stock? im rooted and unlocked, although unlocking shouldnt matter. try uninstalling, rooting and reinstalling

try going into the app, clicking on settings then resetting google wallet, then go to your homescreen, then settings, then go to apps and find google wallet. go to the app and press on force stop, then clear its data. after uninstall apk, reboot your phone, redownload the apk and install. lemme know if that works for you

did you have wallet previously installed before you flashed?
according to this forum you can soft brick your secure element if you dont reset google wallet before flashing a new rom. check out here to see if Hobadee's method works for you

Nope. Google Wallet wasnt even installable before this. Im not getting the secure element error, I'm getting the incompatible one.

You could be using a bad apk. I think I got that error when I first tried to install wallet. The one you should be using came from a nexus 7 rip. Idk if anybody has the link to that one.

You can directly send new message without opening Message Application.
Just install as normal apk or push into \system\app and set permission as rw-r-r:good:

Thanks for the download. What is this app supposed to do? I open it and it just seems to open just like the regular message app. Can't find any settings for it. Could someone please tell me what exactly this app is, or is it just a normal sms app.

I just installed this "New Message" apk and it does nothing at all, all it does is open my messaging app, what's the point in that? Total waste of time.
