How to install:
1. Download *.zip that you need
2. Copy file to sdcard

5. Select *.zip

kph_original.zip - if you want to go back with KPH DEODEXED
Can be used in conjunction with TouchWiz style SII on CODEROM.
One more fix for Glowing Crysis)
If you already install this theme for XXKPH firmware (from the first floor), then this fix is right for you, too.
Left button menu background black and font also black so cannot see... - fixed
there are still problems with fonts when status updates via Seesmic, G-talk menu, Power menu all look white...need some fix - fixed
Version 3 (I think)))
If you apply this theme before (CODEROM or KPH), then you can use this version as update for CODEROM and KPH too.
Added icons from TouchWiz Style SII, the background in application window of TouchWiz now transparent
Immediately after installing all the settings on your home screen will be reset to default. So be prepared!)

[MOD] Transparent Statusbar & NavBar (36DPI) Odex 1.253, 1.307TW, 423, 244 & 267
Pls. read this first
I've found this mod doesn't work when lock screen is enabled and you use launcher other than stock that not support transparent status bar. When come back from lock screen, status & nav bar will become black. I've never used lock screen so i didn't know it, sorry.
As far as i know, there're 2 launcher that support transparent status bar on ZL, stock itself and Nova launcher (enabled in Nova setting -> look and feel -> transparent status bar). But they both transparent on home screen only as we all know.
If you guys only need transparent status bar & nav bar on home screen with Nova or stock launcher. You don't need this mod anymore. If you want small nav bar, just install glitschi667's mod an you're fine
But if you want transparent status bar with other launcher that not support (i've only tried Zeam launcher, i can't confirm others). Or you guys want additional transparent status bar when using some other app. Then this mod may help you, with sacrificed of lock screen (you have to disable it). Sorry for inconvenient
Upadate 2013-09-26: Added mod & restore file for 0.267 Firmware. I fixed big back button by following glitschi667 and APatte111's info. Other resources -: 36dpi mod are based on glitschi667's 0.244
Upadate 2013-08-07: Added mod & restore file for 0.244 Firmware based on glitschi667's latest 0.244 version
Upadate 2013-06-25: Added mod & restore file for 0.423 Firmware based on glitschi667's latest (experimental) version
Upadate 2013-06-19: I added mod & restore file for 1.307 TW Firmware. Just reOdexed android.poliy.jar file
Upadate 2013-06-07: I've update mod and restore files. I've tested them back and forth a few times so it should work this time, at least the restore mod
Hello, here's my mod Transparent Statusbar & NavBar (36dpi) for my 1.253, 1.307 (Taiwan), 0.423 & 0.244 XZL Odex ROM. I'm totally noob for this stuff but i really need the mod so bad. Since there's no one do it so i have to googled around (97% on xda) to find the way. And after 3 nights plus a few tens of boot loop, i got this
Here's some note..
- Use it as your own risk (and bla bla bla )
- I mod the nav bar based on glitschi667's [SOFTKEYS] smaller, black, cwm flashable for 350,434 and 253 fw with 36 dpi version, so you guys will have 36 dpi nav bar after apply this mod too.
- I also supply restored mod with original android.policy.jar, android.policy.odex and mod 36dpi SystemUI.apk. just in case something goes wrong so you can use it to get working system back fast.
- I also supply restored mod with stock SystemUI.apk, SystemUI.odex, android.policy.jar, android.policy.odex and framework-res.apk. just in case something goes wrong so you can use it to get working system back fast.
- As a noob, I so borrowed flashable zip file from other mod (sorry that i can't remember) and throw my mod in it. So if you guys have some concerns, pls check my mod carefully before try it.

Most of them yes, the bars are black. But not all
You can install it manually. but i heard that if you replace SystemUI.apk the system will get force close loop, you have to quickly press power & shutdown menu or force turn off device.

Well, i've checked small soft key mod in the original thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2171768) and found it include framework-res.apk along with SystemUI.apk too. I'll try restore original framework-res.apk to my device. If i lost soft key like you so i need to put that file to the mod too. Thanks for you feed back
In the mean time, If you could, pls try install X_softkey_36_black_253.zip from the original thread and reapply this mod after it (don't forget to back up). May be it should solve the problem.

How to symlink apps
A symbolic link or symlink is basically an advanced shortcut. We can create symbolic links to individual files or folders, and then these will appear like they are stored in the folder with the symbolic link even though the symbolic link only points to their real location.
Samsung uses symlink to store system apps inside the preload folder and symlinks them to the system/app folder in the s2 JB 4.1.2 roms
This is a simple guide on how to manually symlink an app inside the preload folder to the system/app folder
Tools:
- Root explorer or any file manager with root access like ES File manager
This guide assumes that you have root explorer and we'll be symlinking SystemUI.apk from the /preload folder to system/app folder
Fire up root explorer and grant it root access when it asks for it
Navigate to /preload/symlink/system/app folder
Long press on SystemUI.apk and an options menu will pop up, scroll all the way down and select link to this file
Still inside root explorer, navigate back and go inside /system/app folder
At this point, you may need to mount the /system/app as r/w, do so
Click on create link. If it asks you to replace existing files (if found) select yes
Now reboot device for changes to take effect
Voila, you're done

Hey Engloa, for the CRT-Off mod, how does it work ? cause i remember you said something about it would only work if there's wifi on..
Cheers and Thanks for SHARING :good:
Today I will bring to you smaller on screen buttons to our Xperia S. As well as you know ,if you enable navigation bar by adding to build.prop the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" it will make you phone laggy. I modded some files and made the navigation bar much more smaller ,so it became more beautiful and the phone works very smooth ,without lags!
Note#1:
Tried only on 6.2.B.0.200 FW with niaboc79 "framework.jar" from his Honami's launcher port. So it's better to flash this port to get it work before using my mod. So that means that you must have a deodexed rom to apply my mod.
Note#2:
Before using this mod ,make a nandroid backup in CWM and also backup the files "SystemUI.apk" ,"framework-res.apk" & "framework.jar". I'm not responsible to any damage that will happen if you don't know how to use and install this mod.
Installation:
1. Download these 3 files:
framework-res.apk

For me making this mod
Enjoy and give your feedback! This is my first mod
:good: Glad to see you got it sorted, and made a good contribution to this section. Copying and changing permissions gets tiresome when you've got a few files to install so this POST might be of interest to you.

the transparency is not full...there is a part that is not transparent, I can see it also on your screen shot...BTW I manage to remove the overlaping of the camera button to the OSB, and I didn't use your systemUI apk file...I just disabled the capacitive hardware keys and there it goes,,the OSB button automatically hides and show. here is a screen shot..I do not want to upload so I just attached it..take a look please..
BTW can you make it full transparent??Thanks a lot =)
