The auto-sync option is randomly, at least as I can tell as there seems to not be a pattern, not working; when I go into settings the box is unchecked. When I enable it again it will be fine for awhile (1-3 days) and will "shut off" again.
The phone is rooted with clockwork mod.
Is there some known bug?
Hmmm sounds funny to me what ROM are you running

ROM: Stock
That sounds odd I hate to recommend it if stock because sounds like cache issue.
If stock you have to factory reset.
If you have cmw or other custom recovery you can wipe your cache partition, then your dalvick cache, then run fix permissions.
Factory reset wipes caches and is only way to do so the way you need to if running stock.
In extreme cases I have had to re-image a phone that acted like this (via kies if using stock phone) to fix it, but again is rare and normally over kill.

I would say re-flash your rom, wipe cache and dalvik, and flash the latest gapps.
Sorry didn't say before but everything is stock

So not rooted...Its even closing after you reboot?
I would try going into applications, clearing the cache, force stop it, reboot, then try again.

If you are still FC'ing after this, try doing a factory reset, and if that doesn't fix it, i recommend taking it into a sprint store.
You should also make sure that you have a data connection where you are located, because the market will FC if you don't have data (3g/4g/wifi).
Yes and I've done that also I want to do everything before going to sprint and having to reset it

Like the other user said, you can do a factory reset.
Turn your phone off. Hold the vol+down button while turning it on, and you'll be in the bootloader, a white screen with androids on skateboards. Use vol+down to scroll down to clear storage, then use the power button to select. Factory reset done.
so my phone is working fine except for one major problem. it started yesterday...i dunno if this can be the issue but i think noticed it after i updated cwm recovery. but whenever i power off my phone, it wont fully power off. it'll shut down but then the lights will stay illuminated and ill have to hold down the power button to force turn it off? know how to fix this issue?

Thanks, but can I run it when i already have the ROM flashed?
Try the new cwm recovery and wipe manually. Download and flash cwm 6.Then the new cwm manual wipe is just as good and looks much better. Getting into cwm is the same process. First wipe cache then navi to advanced an enter then navi again to wipe dalvik then chose then navi to fix permissions to save anything broken down by wear of using your ROM. Oh and fix permissions is in the advanced menu. Good will hunting.

Hey all, so I flashed the chemistry ROM and Goodness 8.0.3, which both have multi window. After I try to power on my phone after a full shut down, neither ROM seems to boot without me going into recovery and clearing both cache. Anyone else experience this or have a workaround?

Were they clean flashes?

I just had the same issue I installed chemistry on my phone worked with no problems but on my moms phone i went into a bootloop after rebooting. I had to go into recovery do a factory reset wipe cache and dalvik cache and reflash the Rom all seems to be working now. Oh it was chemistry v5 btw.
Edit
Did you retore any system data with TB then hit fix permissions thats what was causing the problem for me.

I did install non-system apps thru TB and installed latest Ktoonz kernel. Just not sure why either would result in a boot loop now.

Try flashing a different kernel, and try fixing permissions through rom manager, then reboot wipe cache and dalvik, make it run the optimizing apps thing.

Ok I had purchased the ZL battery and have been using it since day 1, however today i got home around 11:25pm. i had put my phone on charge @ 3PM. I just finished my 3rd cycle for the battery so i'd figure its done charging as it indicated it was, and turn it on and now all of sudden constant bootloop out of nowhere.
What could have caused this? it was working just fine before i didn't change anything at all.
I'm Running Stock TW w/Saber Kernel. I had purchased the ZL battery a week ago and ever since no problems, nor did i flash anything at all. I've been on TW way before i even thought of buying the battery.
So what could have caused this to undergo a bootloop session.
I went into recovery and wiped dalvik and cache and still is doing a bootloop. Should i do a factory reset however i have no backup because i have been fine since and I've been on Stock TW figure this wouldn't happen.
This used to happen on my epic if I ever left the battery out too long. I always just reflashed either the rom or the kernel. Worst case scenario you just nandroid and restore data.

Try going into Advanced then format system, data, cache, and dalvik cache.
Then swipe to confirm and repeat this 2 more times for a total of 3 Advanced wipes
If that still doesn't help then follow the same procedure but after performing an Advanced wipe 3x go into Format Data to format your internal storage.

Seems like you already did a full stock restore. I had the same symptoms, different rom tho. Reflashing the rom without wiping allowed me to boot up normally and with all of my data is intact. FYI for next time.

running PAC ROM for the last few months, very few issues. yesterday, phone randomly reboots & stays in bootloop. I manually reboot into recovery, do a clean wipe & re-flash ROM. phone works fine until i try to restore apps/data via Titanium, the phone goes back into bootloop. figured i possibly waited too soon to restore my phone, so i held out until this morning. go to run Titanium & phone bootloops again. but this time when i reboot into recovery & try to do a factory reset, the phone reboots as soon as i select "Yes" & goes back into bootloop. Google produced nothing, help!!!! Thanks.
Reflash rom and try to determine which app youre restoring that may be causing the problem. Do you let apps auto update? Do you have backups set to rerun on a schedule?
You could also odin flash the official firmware and start over that way.

thanks for your response! I believe I found the culprint; a theme I downloaded yesterday. I was able to wipe everything except data & reboot, which caused the phone to "optomize" all of my apps. So far so good, but I'm not so sure if this is a temporary or permanent fix.
I dont auto update anything on my phone. Should I?
EDIT: spoke too soon, phone worked for about 2 hours & went into bootloop while idle. froze while deleting dalvik cache but rebooted & is back "optomizing apps". Looks like I may have to odin flash.

Dont auto update, I was just asking because if you did, it could point to a recently updated app as the problem.
It does sound to me like odin is your best option though.

Wow armond, the EXACT same thing happened to be while running Illusion. I couldn't factory reset in recovery, b/c that led to a bootloop when i pressed "yes". I wiped, cache/dalvik and phone worked for a little, had a hot reboot, and bootlooped again. By any chance are you running Ktoonsez kt747 kernel? And i eventually got it fixed thanks to Doc through ODIN. Best of luck!
