auto call recorder?
i dont heard from, must i have the Pro version or free is enough?
Greetings

Try the free version first to see if it works.
I heard that Samsung decided to completely remove the necessary libraries for call recording, so it will probably not work, but it's free so give it a try.
Sent from outta space

As always before, try copying necessary libraries from Korean firmware.

^^Do you have a link to the Korean libraries/ROM ?
Thanks

No but if you look in gingerbread recording package, you'll know what files I'm talking about and Korean ics rom is in the general section.

^^ Apparently it's not the same libs as GB, in GB you need libaudio.so, libaudioflinger.so and libaudiopolicy.so for call rec support. I compared ICS based rom with call rec support (for example Resurrection Remix ics v9.7 XXLPH) and found out that they are missing libaudio.so and libaudiopolicy.so libs (but still support call recording and as far as I know it's not based on modified kernel).
So now I'm clueless again...
"westcrip" (the Resurrection Remix ics ROM developer) had been asked to share how he got it to work but he didn't respond.

I have a version of the dialer with a recording from the line, but there is a great photo set of modes, and added to the menu calls two additional points.
If you can remove them and return Royalty Free Stock Photo, you can publish the source code.

I think he has taken it from lidroid ics rom.

Maybe because it's a Lidroid work .

For call record work in LP7. I have patched 3 files as advised in one of the Chinese mobile forum. For your info, call record is present in ZSLPE firmware itself.
Therefore, You may needed to patch 3 files audio.primary.exynos4.so & audio_policy.exynos4.so in /system/lib/hw & phone.apk in /system/app. Tested it's works! . Courtesy to onwhere (One of the famous Google Maps Modders)
Not sure whether it works for LPQ but I'm sure it's compatible since not related to framework.
Here is the download link. Please backup before you replace those files.
Call Record on LP7

The fact remains that Korean firmware has call recording and we don't. Has anyone tried just copying those libraries first, disregarding resurrection remix and Lidroid work, which lead down different path?
If I'm mistaken and it has been tried I apologise.
I personally have no interest in it unless it supports bluetooth recording as well (which is 90% of my conversations) , fully and without glitches, which it never did in the past, therefore am not going to pursue it further.
^^^ Solution while I was typing :-D

I copied 2 lib files from a Taiwan forum. I can use the auto call recorder for call recording now. Please try
1. Backup audio.primary.exynos4.so and audio_policy.exynos4.so from /system/lib/hw/
2. extract the modified .so files into /system/lib/hw/ and change properties to rw- r-- r--
3. Reboot your S2
4. Install Auto Call Recorder, change audio source to "Voice Uplink"
5. Yeah.... It works for me!!!

I have LPQ with LP7-kernel./Siyah Alpha8)
The Auto Call Recorder works but incoming voice is very low in playback.
Maybe an issue with Call Recorder (Free)?
Audio source=mic

The call recording on DXLP7 does work, but from the mic and you can't hear the other party, so it kinda useless...

[Q] Call Record Option in Dialer

hi all,
I searched and looked out for few call recording apk like Total Recall, Sanity, Call recorder but most of them are not working with my mobile. Either they are not recording the calls through the line ie i need to enable speaker mode to record OR file format (.3gp or Mpg4) are shown as invalid format when i try to play the recordings.
I have rooted my mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 I747 (AT&T, Canada) to Android 4.2.2. I found an interesting article "HOW TO: Enable Call Recording in Samsung Galaxy S3" in Techsplurge forum but the files are valid only for Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-19300), so i am a bit skeptical.
I would love to have a simple call recording solution inbuilt in "Dialer" menu (as shown in attachment) instead of me selecting a different apk. Can anyone please suggest me the changes that i need to do in update-script or provide me with flash file or .tar file relevant for I747 mobile.
Thanks

S3Rx and Dandroid offer this for sure and there might be a few other ROMs as well in the Android development forum
hope this helps
I believe if you grab the LK4 phone.apk from our ROM and put it in yours you will unlock call recording
you can do this as follows
Download Dandroid
Open the zip of you're ROM and my rom (Dandroid) in 7zip
browse to /system/app and replace secphone.apk from my ROM with you're ROM and you should be good to go
I would provide the APK but I just formatted and I'm updating my OS

Hi Dandh,
Thanks for your reply.
Will it be a good idea to directly replace apk file in ROM? I mean, by doing this i hope i dont brick my phone or land into some other issue? What if I try to execute this new apk directly in my mobile without replacing it through boot process?
Also, please send me Dandroid rom link for I747, just to ensure i dont mess up with wrong rom...
Thanks.
Will :Copying Secphone.apk Work For Stock, But Rooted, SGH-i747 Firmware, Too?

Greetings!
I have a similar issue, in that I want to have Call Recording enabled in the dialer.
'
My solution is to use the Xposed Framework and the Call Recording Module. This solution, however, only works with my SGH-i747's (AT&T-US) stock firmware that I have rooted.
I also am playiing around with--via Nandroid backup, back-and-forth--the latest beta of Paranoid Android. I installed Xposed Framework and the Call Recording Module as usual, but it doesn't appear in the PA dialer screen, like it does during a call--either incoming or outgoing--regular firmware's dialer.
So my question is, will using the Dandroid "Secphone.apk" package possibly open this up for me? I really love the latest PA Beta! It's been very stable on my phone, and a bit faster than the stock firmware. It's just that, I Love Both! (Fickle, I know!) I enjoy the quickness of the PA Beta, but also love the polished aspect of the original firmware.
Enabling Call Recording in my PA Rom--as well as doing something about the soft volume level (App Recommendations For This Welcome!) would do much to make it my default ROM.
I know this thread is a bit dated, so I know Patience Is A Virtue!
Thanks for the help!

[4.1.2]V4 Kitkat Gallery and Camera Photosphere , editor activated

Hi all,
first, if you read and use, make nandroid before use my flasher because i dont test it. you're advised.
In some other threads here , we can find some useful apks ported from KitKat 4.4.
About Camera and Gallery, I made my own flasher after some tests. I dont test it because i put manualy .so and .apk in my folders phone.
I test apks on NeatRom Lite 5.3.1 from @_Sale_ , with DorimanX v8.43.
list apks in links ZIPs. (with all libs too)
GalleryGoogle.apk
GoogleCamera.apk
QuickOffice.apk
i add media folders with bootanimation.zip and sounds from 4.4
you can delete what you dont need before flash, it's just for fun and test.
if flasher doesnt work well, you can put manualy all files from in /system/app/ and /system/lib/ folders, fixing right and reboot your tel, sphere must work !
only i hace FCs when i "movied" but i think its because of kernel i use.

Hello, editor doesn't work.
ROM: Optimus v4.0
I've put both apk in /system/app and *.so in /system/lib
Any idea?
Photospehere doesn't work with phone as vertical, I use liblightcycle.so from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47053827&postcount=13 now it work as horizontal and veritcal, but editor and tiny planet still don't work
dont know if we can use some lib .so files from some 4s rom with googlecamera embeded ...
@pacmanman , i have a new V4 here in attachement with some lib if you want to try.
thanks to report. but liblightcycle.so (3mo) crach sphere, no good.
So, I"ve checked V3 version without media and quickoffice and:
-PhotoSphere work in 100%,
-"planet view" close gallery,
-video recording freeze phone.
-SGS II with newest MIUI
Flashed V3 on Carbon Rom(Android 4.3.1)
-Photosphere 101% working
-Planet View 101% working
-Cannot edit photos using gallery, force closes
-Video Recording freezes camera(can't get it to work after force closing, need to reboot for camera to work again)
***** Can't record 720p and 1080p

For Optimus ROM 4.1.2, the only photospehe, little planet and editor working is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2341049
Thanks
can find lib in factory image for nexus 5
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#hammerhead
I tried but photo editor still does not work. Photosphere work well.
thank you!
Lib to activate LatinImeGoogle.apk
In addition to use LatinImeGoogle.apk keyboard , i add two libs .so files you can find in attachment.
take them from : hammerhead-krt16m-factory-bd9c39de.tgz
could be a good way to search
i use LatinImeGoogle.apk and UserDictionaryProvider.apk too from tgz file.
you have to know why i use .pdf extention in attachments files, just remove it and use files like you know....
thanks.
Will this be updated for Android 4.4.2?
why not. if its needed when i would use 4.4.x rom soon.

Good stuff, just a heads-up that the latest version of 'GoogleCamera.apk' is 'is '2.0.002 (940549-30)' from the 4.4.2 KOT49H OTA for the Sony Z Ultra Google Play Edition ( http://android.clients.google.com/p...1278-8069_R3C_KOT49H.S2.2052_Final_signed.zip ). It is newer than both the '2.0.001 (893803-30)' included in this 4.4 V3, and also the '2.0.002 (937116-30)' included in the 4.4.2 KOT49H OTA for the Nexus 5.

Touchwiz Revolution V12 should have call recording as it is the one of the roms that is stock based.
Normally when you make a call you should see the record button.
If not install Xposed with enable call recording module for stock samsung rom or Wanam Xposed module as that one has also the option to enable call recording inside on stock based rom
Thanks For You

(Scale Recycling "dialer" in the graphics and the program plan. This mod includes: Removed the delay after the call, Auto Call Recorder, Colorize InCall Dialpad, Multiple InCall backgrounds (wallpaper dialer - 10 pcs.). The last three require RomControl management functionality. And for symmetry End Call button, I moved the "General Volume" in the series with all the buttons dialer. More added "animation" End Call button (by pressing the End Call button, it changes color). Very often, when a "dialer thought" it was not clear, I press the reset or not. And yet - to add a shadow to the text name of the caller + number of the caller, + on-tone dialing, + under the test of the main buttons, and redrew the schedule themselves buttons, adding to it a shadow, in order to remove the background under them, but enough to be visible on a light background.)

Hi everyone now that i also own an Xperia x i have found that it has a lot of features either missing or turned off when compared to my Z2! The first thing i noticed was that 4K was not even showing up! I have modified the supervideo app and it now works perfectly so i will share it with you, i will share more as i go along.
Instructions: (must be rooted)!
Download at bottom of post.
1. Download the zip.
2. Extract the apk.
3. Copy the app to sdcard.
4. Adb push or manually copy to /system/priv-app/SuperVideoCamera-xxhdpi-release either backup or over write your original.
5. Set permissions to 0644 rw-r-r- and owner/group to 0 - root.
6. Backup or delete the odex file if it exists (oat/arm64)
7. Reboot
If it goes wrong then enjoy the responsibility of your actions, if it works for you then 'happy days'.

Doesn't work at 7.1.1 concept. It records with very dark and inverted colors, videos are stuttering.
Try port it to 7.x.x

I have been trying desperately to get this working on Android 7.1.1 but given the symptoms experienced I think it is being blocked from full access to the camera modules by drm, I don't think the old drm fix works properly on this fw version as the credmgr tables are empty! There is a new drm fix in the xz forum so I am hoping that can be ported over to our devices as I am sure that drm is the problem here.
