Which Sense Rom has... - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

-Miui type battery bar
-individually dismissible notifications
-long-press on quick settings
-regular app icons (no shadows, or themed icon sets)
-transparent app drawer/status bar
I've tried quite a few, but not found one that has all of the above.
Was hoping I missed one...

Mikrunny has all but the individual notification dismissal. Other sense ROMs will have the dismissal, but no long press quick settings. The long press quick settings is sense 3.5 exclusive.

I believe SkyRaider has individually clear able notifications. There's a little gray bubble on the right of each one with an x in it. And I think long press on quick settings works too. There are probably patches somewhere to add in anything else you can't find in SkyRaider settings app.

Thanks to both of you!
Skyraider is my go-to GSM rom, but I wanted something different for a change.
Seems to be hard to get both long-press quick settings *and* individual notification dismissal in the same rom.
I'm going to try a few 3.5 Roms again and see if they can run on my phone now.
Coredroid has been behaving beautifully for a whole day now, with not a single reboot. I read somewhere that Live Wallpaper can cause reboots/bootloops, so I'm sticking with a regular wallpaper this time.

Do you know if this is a possible patch for MikRunny? I think it would finish that ROM off. I see the nit's ROM have incorporated that lately.

[Q] Transparent Notification Bar

I'm currently running SkyRaider's 3.1 Sense rom on my Incredible but im having issues with random reboots, etc. I tired Virtuous 2.7 rom and its ridiculously smooth. The only thing that really bugs me about that rom is the notification bar. I hate the stock one now that ive gotten so used to the transparency. I used the Incredible Revolution theme and the notification bar was fine but i wasnt really feeling the whole red colored theme. If someone can help me out with making a zip file for a transparent notification bar like the one in SkyRaiders rom i will definitely consider buying you a beer. =P haha

im talking aboout the pull down menu that has the notifications. ive only found one with a 50% shade.
I'm also searching for this.
I would also like an easy way to modify the transparency on the notifications pull down. I haven't found an easy way yet (other than begging a dev to do it )
There is a post somewhere with a flashable file for this
what roms are you guys running? i figured out how to do it.
skyraider 3.3.2 - have you figured out how to change the color yet?
please tell how to do transparent! the only flashable zip of it i could find only works with the stock sense launcher and still didnt work too well

[Q] Couple of MIUI questions

I really like my first impressions with this new ROM.
1. After the initial install I switched over to launcher pro and lost the transparency
in the notification bar. Is there any way to get this back?
2. I am running the Koush test kernel. I have done quite a bit of research to try and find the perfect kernel combination, but there seems to be a lot of debate. I am obviously looking for speed and battery life coupled with the ability to listen to music while the screen is off without any skipping.
3. This is probably just a matter of time until this happens, but is there an alternate theme that changes all the menu's from white to black?
4. Are there any known battery notification skins that are compatible with MIUI? Looking for a circle battery icon.
Sorry for the list.

Warning: I'm a complete noob... so someone should confirm.
But from what I read on launcher pro's forums, LP doesn't extend the wallpaper through the area where the notification bar is. Is your bar black when you set to completely transparent?

I couldn't even find a setting for transparency of the notification bar.

that changes the dock and not the notification bar

Overscroll

What is it?
I'm running Starburst ROM, and in the development page they are talking about overscroll. I'm running the latest v1.5 and have some options for overscroll such as glow and bounce. Where can I see this?
Also, for anyone familiar with the ROM, why are there 2 battery style options in menu......they both do the same thing from what I saw.
Thanks
When you scroll too far on most items, it'll glow. It gives you options to change the effect, but currently they don't do anything on Starburst 1.5

like in a menu? if I scroll too far doesn't it just stop? why would I want it to glow?
Its a feature in AOSP gingerbread like the tv off CRT animation that if you ever ran cm7, you are used to and want on your phone. Its just a tiny feature that if you pull a menu too far, a pretty little colored backlight appears to let you know that you hit the limit. Just youtube it to see what we are talking about. God I miss AOSP.

thanks man. I'm not familiar with it, so it doesn't really bother me that much. I thought I was missing out on something amazing lol
I'm currently running v1.5 and overscroll is working. When I get to the limits of a page it will glow orange. As for the battery, it just gives you a couple options depending on what your preference is.

[Q] Moving power bar in notification tray?

From what I've seen of ICS, it doesn't look like the power bar is part of the notification tray, which is something most oems are doing. Do I honestly need a custom ics rom just to have this essential feature?
huh? the battery indicator is right where its always been...

At a guess, I'd say he's talking about the Power Control widget thing, which, for example, Samsung have incorporated into the notification shade in touchwiz.

There is a shortcut to the settings but no individual toggles. You'll need to do an additional screen press I'm affraid.

I dont understand why they dont include it in the notification bar.....and dont forget that in Nexus we did not have the option to delete homescreens...there are 5 screens by default.

Im sure the cyanogenmod team will fix that rather quickly.
there are apps that add those toggles in the notification bar like elixer2 and widgetsoid if not mistaken

There are, but they're not quite the same.
Nevertheless. Either Cyanogenmod or a modified Framework.apk should be able to fix this easily once you have unlocked/rooted your phone.
There are several good notification toggle apps in the market that behave just like CM7 style. I even have one running on my stock android Honeycomb tablet.
Those Samsung toggles aren't stock thus wont be included, but there will be workarounds pretty quickly.

Sense Question

Im running the latest OTA on my dinc, I was wondering if there is an easy way to put the sense 2.1 status bar in sense 1.0 for the convenient quick settings tab, or is that doing some major customization work?
Thanks.

There is quite a bit of work involved in getting the quick settings working on 4.08.605.15. I managed to get qs tab and advanced power menu to work on my rom Touch of blue which is based on 4.08.605.15. However the qs tabs descriptions are wrong, they say low memory or low on space instead of on or off. Everything else is perfect and functional. I had to take a mod from the original gb ota, and modify it to get it to work. I just cant figure out the qs descriptions. There are several system files that need to be edited to get it to work. You could always try my rom. Its mostly stock just with a slight blue theme and the advanced features everyone wants. You can find the link to it in my sig.

Well, I don't know of any easy way to do that, but you should check out some apps. For example, I am running a Jellybean rom and I do not how the quick settings in the status bar. so, what i did is i downloaded an app called "notification toggle" from the play store. It is free, works well, and it does what it needs to. It also has a brightness and volume slider. check it out.
