why is xperia mini getting ics ?
samsung should also do the same, at least a value pack.

they think people that buy these phone don't care about android version//

And it'll be very easy for Mclaw and team if Samsung releases its ICS sources of its camera and all...

I signed it and everyone should do it too.
I like ICS for gio and respect a lot the work of GalaxyICS members, but official sources would help them a lot with their work.
So sign it. If you do, something may happen. If you don't sign, nothing will...

I signed it and it's a good cause, but I'm very skeptical over this. They are very slow to release updates even to their previous flagships.. S II just got its official update not long ago, S and S+ got nothing (some lame value pack started rolling in Korea though). I'm afraid our budget phones are not on the list and will not be, too much work for them.

I think Samsung won't do it. But it would be nice if they would publish some sources since they don't want to support our device.

The galaxy spica
Galaxy spica= My mom lost it -_-
Galaxy 3= Bootloop and broken sim-card reader.
Galaxy Gio= got for christmas because of broken galaxy 3. Successfully revived galaxy 3 shortly after i got it. Then hardbricked the gio .
Mom's old nokia n85: Meanwhile the gio was being repaired.
Galaxy gio again : Played with ever since.
Soon: HTC Sensation: Traded for my galaxy gio

Samsung galaxy gio , got it free after my tattoo was sold from hyriand

Well i dropped it fro 4 story appartement -_- that thing coudnt handle the height
Then samsung didnt had a s2 in stock
And given me ace and gios
Now gio sold
And ace is though to break

Nokia 6100 (broke)
Huawei blablabla (i dont know exactly)
Nokia 2228 (it's keypad sucks)
LG KT-610 (broke)
So Gio its my first touchscreen bar phone

Gio is my first, I love it. It is indestructible. I dropped it from headheight twice and it survived without a scratch. I hope to get a galaxy nexus though, I really want that pure, powerful android experience. I've only had the gio for 7 months though, and my mom doesn't want to buy a new phone. I will sometime in the future though.

[Q] [Port] 1 tester needed

Hey guys,
sorry if it is stupid question, but I have ported JOYOS 1.1.9 to this device.
Problem: My phone is in a brick and was sent yesterday to the repair centre and I hope they will repair it. But I cannot test the rom now, so i dont think it is fair to throw it in public now.
Question: Is there someone who will test my rom, since i am not capable to test it myself? I understand if you do not want to, bcuz maybe your phone will be damaged, like mine, but i would really appreciate it, and add a nice 'thanks saying' in the rom.
Ofcourse i am not responsible for any damage to your phone

No, brick wasn't created by this ROM. Thanks that u want to be my tester, but first voetbalremco will take a look at the rom (I hope at least, but he has exams so he cant be too busy with developing right now). If he doesnt find any mistakes i will sent you a download link in PM. but i'm Uploading....... right now, and it takes looooooonggggg......

And sorry, but you have to wait a little longer: sir voetbalremco found huge mistakes in updater script :s im soo n00by bussy :s

from what device you port this rom?
btw i already port joyos 1.1.9 to gio from optimus one,,..everything works..n have a little bugs,..

Hey, I ported the 1.2.0 version to our Gio 3 days ago.
I fixed most bugs but with 2 problems left.
The USB Tether doesn't work (but can use the Wired Tether )and the Keyboard backlight has some problem (also can use some third party apps to disable the backlight).
I suggest that you work on the C8650 version. It will be better.

And for me, there is no chance to get anything of both working
(My parts: build.prop, drivers, some driver-rebuild from aosp and none works for me)
So if u need any help i help u as much as i can

I wanted to ask if is there a keyboard of Note 2 for S2 JB fits to LSE
To replace the stock keyboard (via CWM)
I was looking on the forum and did not find, thanks for helpers!

You need someone who knows developing to port it .

I'm sure that many want this keyboard to replace the stoke.

I know that JoFury on his next rom version will release a port of Galaxy note 2 keyboard.
So you have to wait few days until he will release it .

Mate, i hav it, full , real Note 2 keyboard ( From by fren maanz ) . It need to be probaly resized or else it juz not fit as it should in floating mode :silly: And i surrender to figure it out
