Hi developers,curious question is anyone going to attempt a rom based on the desire s? Only reason i ask is because its tge closest maybe to the desire than porting hd roms etc,i am running a hd rom so happy days! Just saying it might adapt better? Though i know sweet fa lol

Right ive just my Desire HD. Im a converted iPhone/Re-born again HTC man, and i was wondering whats the best apps and gadgets to get on my DHD, ive been tinkering anyways and found a few helpful apps, i just want my DHD to look the nuts .

Very much depends on what you want to do with it?

Well really I love a good theme and a few decent games. Can you get different themes for the stock keyboard?

Porting a different OS is a damn lot of work, so don't expect anyone to do it.
Maybe a dev will become interested an it and start to work on it, but currently everyone is pretty busz porting the Sensation ROM I suppose, so don't expect it to happen.

God get with the program people, use search and view the numerous threads on this subject and don't listen to the doubters we've all been running it for years

I m asking it because as far as hardware is considered desire hd and hd2 are not very different so the only need is to do some tweaking may be some Dev can do it let's keep our hops alive.

Basically nothing works on it so not really worth doing unless you're desperate to see how terrible it runs on the DHD

Exactly, this is an Android version designed to be used on tablets so not sure what the fascination is with porting it to phones?

Actually had a partly working version on my HTC Magic, but the screen is so tiny you can barely read the icon text - leave it to the tablets

Hello everyone
Currently I am very impressed on 3D movie and I found that it would be nice if I can watch 3D movie on my phone. Currently I could not find the application that can play on my Desire HD. Can anyone suggest me?

What are U talking about man? The hardware of the DHD is not support for watching 3D Movies. U can try to buy a Evo 3D if U want to watch 3D

The gallary app (stock) on Honeycomb can play 3D movies through anagalyph. Unless you can get that working somehow, I don't think there's much anything you can do.
Don't think you can take the app from the EVO 3D or Optimus 3D because they're gonna try to play it through those special triangular pixels on those particular phone, and either way, they're not gonna even install because of their dependency on the NDK.
3D needs a lot of processor power (which is why every 3D phone has a dual core), so even if you got it working, my guess is that it would be jittery at many places.
