I've tried to look for it but the ones I found might just be incorrect specs. It would be much easier for someone from the Netherlands to check since they would know of the best price-matching services, the best stores etc.

I've pre-ordered mine with StudentMobiel in NL. Their website still says "expected in week 47" (that's next week).
And it's the 16gb version. What's everybody storing on their phones that takes up 32gb?

Vodafone just put the phone up on their site. Expected release in wk47 (next week.) Unfortunately its not yet available with contract-renewals (only new contracts) for about another week. At least thats what the sales guy just told me on the phone.
My contract ends next week, so just in time for a good deal i hope :d

That's 16 gb version. It's enough for me.

It's more or less the same with UK retail price of 510 GBP, no contract.
You can wait couple of weeks to get it cheaper.

Isn't it a bit impolite to post in Dutch here?
I pre-ordered with algebeld.nl (€544, 16G) and they expect the GN to arrive at the end of November. My NG will be a lot (€55) cheaper than the GN of the OP.

Why would it be impolite? The title clearly states this is a topic meant for dutch people. Regardless, pdashop.nl has always been "over-priced" in the sense of item prices, though they have very good customer support.
Luckily I have a 120 euro groupon for thephonehouse, so I'll be waiting for them to have them in stock.

It's impolite because the information is of interest to those of us potentially looking to import from the Netherlands.
Also, it's an English (well US) forum which usually means you have to post in English. With that said, I'm not a moderator obviously so I can't stop you.

Most of the information is not of interest to foreign people, due to most shops not shipping abroad anyway. Besides, there is also a UK topic in which we (as in the dutch people) will most likely post shops which will ship abroad. Additionally, I would look at this from a different perspective: If we speak english, we're being polite, because we dont have to. We're not impolite, because we don't speak english.
Anyway, with that being said, let'a continue in english just to be polite.

Nope - you don't pay the UK taxes if you're buying it for immediate export - in other words, if you're getting it shipped directly to somewhere outside the EU...
Also, there is, or will be, a Euro/Asian version of the XL with global LTE frequencies.

Looks like it's available for preorder unlocked at Mobicity, but it's pretty expensive. It would probably be cheaper to ask someone coming from overseas especially Asia to get it for you. That's how I got my Note 1, from Hong Kong.
But still no news from the carriers yet.

Then I cant see why Kogan needs to wait still the 15th, I think that's just a safe date for them so they dont annoy customers if the date gets pushed back a little

Actually, Kogan's website only mentions "Quad-band 3G" and nothing about 4G, so it prob won't support 4G network

Really annoyed by this, They're a decent reputable seller and I would have put a pre-order in right now had they been offering silver

i have been trying all night to pre order one of these but the site is kicking back every attempt i have spoken to o2 and they have informed me there system has crashed and to try again at somepoint tommorow

my order failed and was charged 1 x on my debit card and 3 x credit card. so was charged a total of £799.96 and still no pre-order

as the order failed, O2 hasn't got a record of the transaction so they are unable to refund so spoke to bank and they said payment was authorized but not claimed and will automatically refund on the 1st of October if payment is not claimed by merchant by given date
