Upload a hi-res picture of Jesus onto your phone. Make sure it is on your system memory, not your SD card. That should fix it.

Haha, just get a gameloft game

well that's what you get for killing zombies...
is joke
you would want to delete a SYSTEM app. like when you go into TB, they're the red fonts.
Or just download something into the ROOT of your phone or somewhere along there.
sdcard is internal
external_sd is your microsd
anything on the ROOT:apps, system, lib, etc is the system partition.

IF THIS IS ALL YOU SEE ON BOOT SKIP FIRST PARAGRAPH AND TRY SECOND BOOT IN TO RECOVERY AND CLEAR YOU CACHE AND DALVICK CACHE AND THEN UNDER ADVANCED RUN FIX PERMISSIONS AND RESTART. DON'T GET TOO UPSET IF THIS DOES NOT WORK I BET YOU JUST HAD SOMETHING GO WRONG AND A FRESH INSTALL OF A ROM WILL HELP [BE SURE TO CLEAR CACHES AND /DATA AT VERY LEAST I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WIPING SYSTEM BUT UP TO YOU].
You could also look in to e2fsck. If you use a terminal emulator or adb if you cant get past that screen and a computer you can copy e2fsck [be sure to find a version that works with android [or try to run it from /system/bin or /system/xbin as it should be there I believe and with google you can pull out the command for it and run a disk check on any mounts [fdisk -l should work] use adb shell from any computer [again google if you need to download adb]
Also, you guys do realize unless you go way out of your way to purchase a super fast SD Card installing apps to SD will really slow the phone down as a whole and with 2gigs of system storage and 11G of sd for "standard google app to sd" [basically widgets will not work if app is on sd so keep apps with widgets on phone] and still keeps the phone reading remaining apps from phones memory [using "root apps2sd" method you are basically tricking the phone in to thinking space on the SD is actually the phones memory and is why things like widget will run BUT phone doesn't know what is SD and what is phone memory in this scenario it looks the same so any media file indexing or regular system caches end causing heavy SD usage and can be a HUGE bottleneck [just saying lets not start nit picking and figuring out who is bigger these are just my 2cents and I recognize your views may differ from mine and that is totally cool with me just throwing out my 2 cents for newbs and others who WANT to read it ;-)[/B]
I am pretty sure someone explained this already your System storage is different than your SD Card and internal SD Card [even though from what I have read system storage is a partition of the USB storage]. You would have to either [add/remove apps to your phone storage [installing to SDCard would not change system storage value], clearing your cache and/or dalvick cache [see recovery menu [hold vol up+down as you power on phone and release as soon as you see the white Samsung logo [release vol keys BEFORE it goes away]. wipe cache is on main men and dalvick cache is under advanced. You could also move apps in manage apps from phone storage to SD Card [will use USB Storage if you have not inserted a "real" SD-Card in to your phone] This may cause widgets to break or apps to slow down so be sure to use your judgement.
RECOVERY MENU FIX [POSSIBLE] in more detail
If all that did not work clear your cache [main menu] and dalvick cache [advanced menu] and then go under advanced and choose fix permissions and allow that to run [depends on how many files you have as to how long this takes but it usually is not long at all and then go back to main menu and choose restart system and see if that clears the issue for you.

Strange issues.

I have been rooted for like 6 months now and have never really had any issues until last week. Started getting fcs on media and a lot of reboots. Flashed a couple different ROMs and stayed away from any custom kernels still having issues. So I decided to start fresh and not use TB to restore any apps, but now I keep having problems with data not working and my apps are disappearing. The last time I flashed Sprint Lovers after wiping everything and flashing the format all .zip and then I redownloaded all of my apps from the market. Everything seemed fine for a day or two and now all hell has broke loose once again. Any one have any tips or suggestions I really don't want to unroot.

Well what symptoms are you having? Are your radios up to date, and did you install on a clean install?
Apps keep disappearing and my data randomly stops working. I'm pretty sure my radio and pri are up to date. I've ran Sprint Lovers before with no problems.

Did you have the apps on sd? Maybe that's the problem. Sdcards usually last for years but sometimes they can corrupt.
~ d3rk
I'm not sure if those ones were or not but its possible. That could possibly explain the media fcs when my phone would ring with a custom ring tone.

One more thing I just discovered. YouTube is one of the apps that disappeared and I go to the market and try to download it and it starts to download then nothing happens. Also most for the HTC widgets are gone now.

This sounds exactly like a corrupted sd man. How is it working now? Did you do a full wipe and start over?
~ d3rk
I've been having problems since I did a full wipe including flashing a format all .zip. When I get more time I might try formatting my SD card.
Sent from my EVO 3G
Start from scratch. Copy the contents of your SD card onto your computer or external hard drive. Download a fresh copy of the rom you want to flash as well as a fresh copy of amon RA v2.3. Place the PC36IMG.zip for amon RA on the root of your card and then shutdown your device. Enter the bootloader by pressing simultaneously, the down volume button and the power button until your device starts. When it starts, you'll enter the bootloader screen and pause briefly until a few lines of text scroll across the screen. Afterwards, the bootloader will automatically detect the PC36IMG.zip file and prompt you to install. Follow the prompts to install. The installation process will last less than 10 seconds. Afterwards, reboot into recovery and then go to the wipe menu and select "wipe SD card". Your card will then be formatted. Now individually select to wipe everything in the wipe menu except the SD card, being that you just wiped it. Afterwards, select return at the top. Connect your device, if not already connected, to your computer via USB and then select the "MS-USB". A drive should appear on your computer. If you have a Mac, it will appear on your desktop. Copy the rom you want to flash onto the card. Unmount the card from the computer FIRST and then unmount it from recovery by selecting the power button. Go into the flash menu and flash the rom. Afterwards, reboot into your new homescreen and then update your profile in the settings menu if you're using a sense based rom. Hopefully, your issue will be resolved. Take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend..

So, I've set the Backup directory to storage/extSdCard/Titanium Backup, but then I noticed that External storage is set to /storage/sdcard0/, so what's the deal with that? :S

That's a feature of jellybean and because of the partitioned internal. Do not worry. As long though as you point it to your 64gb external card as you have done you are OK.

Thanks for the reply mariosraptor....no wonder why the Move to SD feature in the pro version doesn't really work. I tried moving an app it moves it and I see the memory card icon then when I go back it just disappears and is not listed as an app stored in the ext sd.
Yep cause the apps actually are already in the sd. It's about the partions.

Yeah I know...I just thought to try the move apps to external SD card..but then it's useless.
Guess the only way is Directory bind, but then for some reason I can't find the directories for all my apps? Aren't they supposed to be in /Android/Data? I looked in there and only a few apps are there not all of them. What is the path for the apps?

I do not use directore bind. I use a more convenient solution.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2036796
You already hace root. You need a kernel with init.d support.
I have been using this since my S3.
With this I have about 9gigs to install apps in the "real" internal card. All others like game data, and photos and stuff are in my 64gb extcard which now is internal.
Just read the thread by Mattia.

I have tried it and it worked but it caused me more confusion than make things easier and had trouble with the camera and gallery so I removed it. What I hated most about this mod is the reversed partitions when copying things from the pc via MTP
I may give it another try and see how it goes..
I have no problem in camera nor anywhere else.
The first time though after flash that you will open camera and it says it detected a memory card just say NO when it ask if you want to store them there.
Also in browser set phone as where to store downloaded data so you don't end up with this or that file is corrupted.
Hope this help

No, Android/Data will contains only such application which requires to download/store some external data.
All application data stores in hidden data folder, titanium backup is actually backup applications in that folder.
Directory bind useful which have big data like gameloft/navigation map. rest of data is very small and can be created again once you hard reset.

[Guide][How To] Fix Sdcard / Find backups after cm10.1 Flash!

We all had that problem, we can't find our backups after flashing Cm 10.1. IT IS FIXABLE! So why would you factory reset through Odin? Here is how to fix it.
Step One: Make sure you are on a ROM with the play store. (When I flashed CM10.1, I had CM10 still on my sdcard with the Gapps, so I flashed that.)
I use ES file explorer, but you use what you want. Be sure to rename any important folders just in case so the files don't over lap.
********************************
If you play games.. BACKUP YOUR DATA! THIS PROCESS DELETES GAME AND APP DATA! I AM SORRY! USE BACKUP PRO OR TITANIUM BACKUP IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH IT! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
*********************************
Step Two: Go into your 0 folder and highlight everything in there except Android. Shown here:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Step Three: Hold down on a folder and select "Move to"
Step Four: it will bring up a box, go up till you get to the parent folder, shown here, and select SDcard (Internal SD!).
Step Five: After Selecting the internal SD Card, hit "ok" and it will move everything up to your parent folder where the "0" is. You can delete the "0" Folder (Make Sure there is nothing left in there that you need!), reboot into recovery, and get your backups back!
-----------------------------------------
Hope that saves someone from doing a factory reset with Odin! Any questions just ask!

Only issue that I encountered was I lost a bunch of my pictures in the transfer, When I selected internal SD to move them to, a box popped up saying if I wanted to override something and I clicked yes...I wonder if that was the issue. Also I lost all of the files that I downloaded to the internal such as new roms.

If it's heating up even in stand-by, that's definitely not ok. Anyway, it would have been nice to know which ROM are you using.
My honest opinion is to make a pristine install of your ROM using the steps below (all of them). It should help.
For installation, first, make sure you got the ROM and the correct Gapps on your External SD Card.
After that, enter CWM and:
clear data (factory reset)
clear dalvik cache (under the "advanced" menu)
go to "mounts & storage" and format /system. This is extremely important!
under the same menu, format /sdcard (be careful NOT to format /external_sd by mistake)
install the ROM (from the external sd)
install Gapps (from the external sd)
reboot your phone
Please, note that every step of this tutorial is mandatory!

Thanks for the reply sire..
My phone ROM is stock ROM the original firmware from samsung and never been modified.
Even in standby mode the battery keeps heating u and thus battery drain occurs.
Im thinking there is some shortage or leakage or problem inside the board ( never been wet by water or any liquid substances)

Do you have any data connection on? I'm thinking an app such as Facebook or Facbook Messrenger or other IM clients that might be always trying to connect to the internet, thus making a lot of data trafic and so...making the battery heat up, which under these circumstances would be quite normal.

Well the software issues that I suspected are out off the window now. The only reason for this would be a short-circuit on the battery or the battery connectors or indeed something on the motherboard. Did you try going to a GSM service to see what's wrong with it? Diagnostics are usually free of charge. So I would recommend you to do this.
Do a fectory reset and install CPUSpy and do a screenshoot of you battery statistics. So if this is caused by an app or service, we can better see what is causing this, but if there will be nothing suspicious your phone will be a case for warranty.

2 days? How big is your memory card? ) Cause from my point of view, even if you got a 32GB full of data to restore on your SD Card, with an average speed of...let's say 5MB/s, it should still take you a lot less than 48h.
But anyway...I would recommend restoring only the data you need (if any). Not everything. It takes less time to restore and it's better when changing ROMs.
And since this is going off topic, I think that we should stop this conversation here.

Why is my phone suddenly telling me I'm low on free space this morning? It just updated CWM Recovery using ROM Manager then went to bed and when I woke up, turned my phone back on and all of my free space is gone into some other universe not classified by my phone.
My phone doesn't react any different, its not sluggish or glitchy, but I can't install any apps now. Any suggestions?
Looks like you are on a 4.2+ based rom. Might want to check if you have nested /0 folders. Or a quick wipe with Odin should reset it

Oh yeah, I'm running RootBox 4.2 with Plasma Kernel 1.67
I did a full wipe in CWM and restored my backup from a few days ago and its the same thing.
Does the new CWM not restore old CWM backups? I've also noticed that the Fix Permissions is gone from this new CWM.

What do you mean /0 folder? I'm having the same issues. Low memory, hardly any pics, no vid, like one or two songs, deleted a bunch of apps and still low memory. I'm now running a 4.3 rom but its the same on this and 4.2

try going in /data/media, and delete everything except what is in your "0" folder..

The "0" folders are legacy and storage duplicate files that are created when installing AOSP roms or their variant builds. .
Unless you run the CM revert .zip...or manually move the "0" folder contents back to internal storage. ..they will collect and diminish your internal storage down to nothing over time. ..g

I've taken to just formatting my internal storage every time I flash or restore now a days, to eliminate all this "crap" from eating up space on internal storage; when I do that, I have around 9 gigs of free space, even after setting up/restoring a rom...I lose anything that was on internal storage, but, I keep all movies/music/photos on my external card anyways, so I dont ever really "lose" anything I care about...and, things like nova backups, or anything else like that, can be stored somewhere on your external card at all times, and just get moved back to internal after you flash/restore a rom with a tool like root explorer...
That freed up a lot thanks but it still seems I have duplicate stuff in a few places it seems like, for instance the emulated, 0, and legacy folders

Each of these pretty much look the same when opened

With all the different bases for the roms, unless you get used to backing up app data then formatting /data and /system between flashes, you eventually end up with a buttload of crap.

yeah, and it only adds a few minutes to your restore time, and you get all that free space again...I used to just let it build up, and then try to delelte what I thought was safe, but if you just format your internal space when flashing, EVERY bit of junk is gone..
I would but Nothing ever gets saved to my ad card now, whenever that changed screwed things up

similar issue here on cm10.2. I wiped everything including internal storage/format data in latest twrp before installing cm10.2. had around 2gb available, and now only about 300mb after installing all my apps. How do I get the unaccounted 8gb back? I went directory by directory in solid esplorer and cant figure out whats taking the space
