I dont know much about it....but you can try flashing a new or the same firmware! Its just a thought! If you dont have backup of your data then do not proceed with this! Wait for some expert to help you! But if you have backed up all your data then there is nothing wrong in flashing!
If i helped you, hit the thanks button!

I know the bootloader is locked.
Anyway
I bought my mobile from amazon.co.uk:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004UK6H6W/ref=oh_o02_s00_i00_details
I tried flashing a new firmware but it didnt do any thing! The lock was still there! So only thing left is we gotta unlock the bootloader...dont worrl we will relock it again! But you will loose track id (can get it back from market/ play store) and the thumbs up stuff for Facebook in music player! I will try to get them back...all of it! So you ready to unlock the boot loader...its the only way from where i see it!
Sent from my LT15i using XDA
Unlocking the bootloader will do a factory reset (for security purpose ). So this should solve the problem. But if it doesn't...i got other stuff too! Dont worry!

See the first link I gave you.
First link applies only to Arc, not recommended for Arc S.
I am new Arc S owner aswell now, also interested in unlocking via test point method, however I see information that LT18 is not supported by this method. Can someone tell me the real truth?

Bootloader unlock is independent of any firmware on the phone. It is also SEPARATE from SIM/network unlock. Your phone does NOT have to be rooted. SIM unlocking your phone does NOT unlock your bootloader. Flashing your phone does NOT SIM unlock or unlock your bootloader. (However, when you unlock your bootloader with the paid method, the SIM/network unlock is also removed.) SIM/network unlocking is ONCE and PERMANENT and not affected by any firmware.
This works for ANY 2011 Xperia: arc/s, PLAY, neo, neo V, pro, mini, mini pro, ray, active, Live with Walkman.

Use the TestPoint method then instead of the Official Method, you'll find all you need at the first link in my sig.

The TestPoint method is better as you retain DRM, and if a video tutorial is too hard to follow, then yes, perhaps the Official no more reliable or better method is the way to go.
