I've never had the issue with my gameloft games not working when switching roms but after switching to gingerbread it says they are not original copies or something to that effect... Anyone know a fix? Gameloft says I have to repurchase but I'm kinda skepitcal on that.. Suggestions?

It could be that they need to be upgraded to support Gingerbread.
don't know what your problem could be.. i have all my gameloft games installed and running on my G2 with Gingerbread
@ctraywick: I had the same problem. I was told that they were not for the G2, and that I could not even repurchase the games since my phone was not supported. I'm kinda pissed and don't plan on buying from them anymore, until they put their games on the Market.

That is a possibility as when g2 came out it was unsupported but I think it has to do with the specific rom... cm nightly 12 shows as generic whereas others I've had showed as vision or glacier

Well they do have games for g2... unlees it was right when it came out then they lied to you. And I do agree they need to put there games iin the market but I doubt they will. Change that

So, android 5.0 is dropping numbers in favor of 'L', and superbowl 50 is dropping roman numerals in favor of '50'. Is there some sneaky marketing tie-in going on here? Or a joke at the expense of the superbowl committee? Will android go back to numbers for 5.1 just like the superbowl is going back to roman numerals for LI?
No. V is 5 in Roman Numerals (assuming L-version is 5.0), L is 50. That doesn't make any sense. It's L because of Alpha, Beta, Cupcake, Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jellybean, KitKat, L..., ...
Nah, "Android L" is currently only a referral name by Sundar Pichai. Once commercial details are grounded, I'm sure there will be a proper codename (e.g. Lollipop) as well as a proper version number (e.g. 5.0).
