Don't think so. detcup4ever was saying he may look into adding it to one of his kernels

Yes, I believe it is only a Samsung thing as of now. Hopefully a developer will look into it and try to add it to future kernels. It would be great on the Evo.

I'd recommend the newest, it combines everything of those past and a few new ones. I can get 19hrs at 55% left on the non sbc version.
Awesome.. sorry new to posting..

No need to be sorry, we were all new once. And better to ask than to go blindly.

GB Sense Kernels

just wanted to know if any Dev's will develop any Sense GB kernels.. THERE IS STILL MILLIONS OF SENSE LOVERS OUT HERE ... Stuff like overclock, HAVS, e.t.c.

I'm sure they will but they have to wait till they release the source code for the new kernel before they can do that.

Didn't XxXVirusXxX extract the one that came with the OTA update yesterday?
UPDATE: The link to it is HERE.

Yeah but they can't do much with it like sbc , havs, bfs etc.. Till they get the source code.

Isn't that the kernel that screwed up people's WiFi and WiMax? I could've sworn that I have read people reporting issues with the kernel

CM7/MIUI kernels

I am on the mobile app and tried searching but couldn't find anything. I am wondering if there are different kernels for CM7/MIUI that have over clocking capabilities.
Edit: I am using tegrak currently. But was just curious if there are other options

Ha! no worries...I hate asking questions like that, but the mobile app absolutely sucks for searching! And I was at a family function and board out of my mind, So I figured why not mess with the phone more...Like i haven't done that enough!! Anyway thanks again!

Shadow kernel v.1.1+ (mtd)

So does anyone still have this version of the kernel? The one with oc & uv. I know its very outdated but I have never seen any kernel run as well as that one did on my phone. Idk how I lost it. I tried downloading it from the kernels thread but its link is dead. Does anyone have it lying around on their computer somewhere?=)

That would be good. I guess I'll just wait until that comes out and see how it runs.

Or if you're in a rush you can extract the kernel from simplesensei new Rom. It has bbelos FC09 kernel built into it.
It's a simple copy and paste

I have been looking for and in need of a kernel for a non sense rom that supports SBC and fast charge. If anyone knows of a list of kernels that would be awesome too.

Depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Reloaded has ViperMod baked in and there are some controls there as far as kernel adjustment (voltages, etc.). Go to your terminal emulator app, type su, then vipermod. If you change any settings make sure you use the option to create an init.d file so your changes are saved and not lost when you reboot your phone. You can adjust things like your governor by going to Menu>Settings>Advanced> Performance>CPU Settings.
