I am building a custom rom but missing the most important files.. I dont know where to find shipped/stock rom of galaxy Y!! Devs plz help!

for shipped rom go to the dev forum in sgy forum You can find stock rom there. All stock roms for odin

It could have been helpful but it is for 2.3.5 and right now I am using 2.3.6.. Anyways thanks for reply...

the above thread was closed. the more recent thread is much more productive.

Most Productive CM7 so far!!
The Most Productive one is By Razor 083, Maroc nd others! has lot of bugs.. major one like no network! but still the best so far.. as U can do more than having just a look inside! But it's a Port.. Not from the source!
Here's a nandroid backup of my installation! If u want.. U can try this.. I tried on stock kernel!
And Recently MadTeam is working on one.. nd It also has lot of bugs but.. IT's FROM THE SOURCE!!!

That guide seems not to be working with stock rom. As to the post above deodexed is required.

If u want use it in stock rom just make 3 file deodexed ...
Create backup Using CWM before do any thng .....

The original method is already so easy!! You just need to follow instructions properly

I can provide with a zip which installs the lidroid but as said above u got to get ur rom deodexed id u try it on the stock rom u fill lose ur status bar....so depends on u bcoz deodexing is a must

The best roms for me are Ultimate Sonic ROM, repencis and the themed roms of Amal Das, cause they dont have important bugs

Repencis's ROM are worth to try. You definitely will like the ROM because it have beautiful theme, balance on both battery and performance.

I've tried Repencis v.3.5 but it has got a bug that is messaging does not work efficiently. I've tried many others but still i came back to stock rom

I think Chobits Digitalis v2.0 is the best one, but there are a few to choose from. Some will say Chobits, some will say Creed's, some will say Repencis. Then there's Amal Das' ROMs, USR, etc... It's your choice which you want to flash. It's all based on preference.
