The Pie UI Lockscreen / Homescreen Thread

Hello guys, since I've took a break from theming and have a new baby boy I don't have the time for theming right now...
What I do have the time for is Lockscreens and Home screens
Ive had a crazy number of PM's on how to make them, instructions ect ect so the dudes over at the desktop thread suggested a new thread just for this purpose..
So Lets get on to the first one (none of this is my work, my work (only some modded icons ect is detailed at the last part of this post. I take no credit for the Original concept or ideas..

These are the instructions and downloads for the first dark one here ....and the widgetlocker theme for the lock screen

Its for the galaxy nexus but the concept is the same... These instructions work for my modded version to a point..... I use snowstorm for the weather and minimulistic text for the battery...
I use ADW Launcher ex ....go launcher ex and others will work too ...
Here is my modded lockscreen too, works fine with the Galaxy S2

No, the question is not about the ROM but the launcher, i managed to figure the things out on ADW Launcher, 7x7 grid layout, Hyperdroid as well.

Edit it yourself. Simple. You can change the scale, location and angle of the weather icon.

Press the widget, select 'Icon - current condition' from the drop down menu, press set folder and choose 'weather2' or whatever the other choice is.

Icons look nice
don't like the black tabs in the app drawer if I'm honest, sorry
For some reason it wouldn't let me install as normal apk, I had to move to /system/app.
overall though nice themed launcher. Thank You

Hey Dude , It's not against your work but i think if you wait until the holo launcher is out of beta it would have much more customizations and it would be more bugless. So it would be easier for you to theme the app Just my opinion ,but so far great work. Maybe you should make the appdrawer icons smaller or generaly all icons cause our ace's screen isn't the biggest so if you use smallicons the screen would look more hmmm. bigger?

As i saw in the Holo Launcher User Voice were you can request features, there's someone who requested a theme engine ! *_*
We have to vote for this one , with a theme engine it would be just easy

working on the miracle v4 rom? great work spacecaker.

Dear spacecaker, I would like to have a few more mods for this wonderful modded holo launcher...
1. Is it possible to make the App Drawer Icon to Stock SGSII App Drawer Icon ? (Icon/Screenshot Attached/See Attachments).
2. Can you make the Overhead Lines/Tabs in the App Drawer from Black/Dark to White/Grey/Light Colour, since it’s a bit hard to see. (Screenshot Attached/See Attachments).
3. Is it possible to make the App Drawer from Horizontal/Pages to Vertical/Scrolling type ? (I think it has to be done by the Launcher's Dev & not you, Right ?)

Yeah, I already found this one, but I wanna launcher to replace touchwiz, not launcher that installs normaly. Maybe there is moded touchwiz with pull up app drawer or some kind of metamorph theme, because i cant find it.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTICE:
- Do not put UCCW to your sd card it must stay on your internal memory cause it's a widget!
- Always restart the launcher after adding a new UCCW Widget for preventing bugs!
- You have to always be on the latest UCCW.apk version!
- Only use 1 Launcher with the UCCW Widgets cause when you have the launchers with 2 UCCW - Widgets , UCCW will only update the time/weather on 1 of the launchers!

I'm using my own modded ROM and my own theme ...
And its Holo Launcher with sgs3 icons and the bar at the bottom is the stausbar wich is moved to the botton ( CM7 ). The softbuttons are also from cm7 .
Ask CoolCatGetHome , i'm sure he will tell you how to enable them .

I really want the notification style icons and brightness bar and also the ripple lockscreen which i found in alliance rom but i want to use it on another rom so i need someone to take it from the alliance rom and compile it to a zip or apk please

Ask the dev of that Rom because taking my files needed for ripple will effectively make it alliance because of the amount of files involved

There's an s3 style system ui in the forum as again...taking mine would add all my other mods too.
Can I ask...if the ROM you want has less/none of the stuff you want, why do you want it? What ROM is it?

Im running a stock LP9 4.0.3 rom and i found a pack that includes the launcher and widgets and icons and all i need is the lockscreen and notification style ui to complete my theme and i cant install the systemui you mentioned cause i need a 4.0.4 deodexed rom and i dont know what does it mean

Ripple don't and wont work with 4.0.3. Why not just use my ROM?!

Cause i used your rom and the aettings ui and all the other stuff doesnt look likr galaxy s 3 it looks like pure ics with launcher and icons thats it.
I dont say your rom os bad, on fqct i really like it but its missing some of the sgs3 stuff i wanted.
Oh and one more thing when i installed the rom costumizer i didnt found the rom settings panel, is this because i dont have your rom. If this is the reason so can you give me the settings panrl with all the lockscreens and aettings please

Lolol. Yes no settings cos youre not on my rom. But no even if i gave it you it wont work. The settings app just changes database. The lockscreens and mods aren't in the app they're in the framework!!
If you read a little you would have seen that you can download a full s3 theme from ota in my ROM.

I worked a little on this subject and here are my conclusions :
- S3 Notification panel can be installed on any LPX Roms using MOD like Mirko SystemUI (I mad a S3 theme for it),
- Ripple Lockscreen mod is built on framework files & SystemUI, it is very hard to extract to make it work on any ROM (I tried it hard beleive me),
- If you realy want Ripple Lockscreen MOD : install Widget Locker & Ripple mod (see dedicated HowTo in this forum) or better install a ROM like Alliance or Simplistic which provide a full framework that is rock stable and fully customisable.
