Can any one tell me where the Blue is coming from around "Keypad"
and where that SD "media scanner running..." png/icon is?
I have been looking all night. the framework is from Sleeper 2.0.04 & the DailerTab is From Toxic EL30.
I believe the media scanning icon is in either framework res apk/res/ drawable hdpi or systyemui/res/drawable hdpi.
Looks good so far though

Ya that's what i thought to
in framework res apk/res/ drawable hdpi/ i have stat_notify_sdcard.png stat_notify_sdcard_prepare.png & stat_notify_sdcard_usb.png, & the sim card one stat_notify_sim_toolkit.png but non of them are whats showing in the screen shots.
I tried changing every blue square in dialeractivitytab myself and could not get rid of that either. It messes up the look of the purple dialer too.
The blue is in framework its a selection color more than likely a 9.png .
I still am unable to find the yellow selection for ui buttons on top of apps in cm9 . I think you may need to decompile the apk and change an xml value.
Oh and the sd card media scanner icon that appears in the status bar? That's in systemui and is usually transparent so you can only see it behind black backgrounds...I'm sure about this one.

Its usually stat_notify something...been theming cm9 lately so I'm a little unsure its something in the UI since it has to do with the status bar....its somewhere in there. Possibly in the tw-framework...

How to make battery circle On charge go to 100%
I added that code in to framework-res.apk\res\values\public.xml & pngs in drawable-hdpi recompiled re-flashed the zip, phone is working but when the charger is plugged in the battery circle only goes up to 20%.
How do i get it to go from 1% to 100% as it changers? Like the other themes that have this battery mod.
Code:

Hello @all,
since the first froyo builds I missed the input/keyboard animation. I liked the animation as it was in the previous eclair builds. So I took a look into this.
Theres an easy solution to this, if you know how to de-/recompiling the framework-res.apk.
I don't describe here how to decompile apk's. There are enough tutorials here I think.
So, to get the Input animation back you just have to take a look into:
\res\values\styles.xml
and search for:
Code:

and add one line to get this:
Code:

...recompile and you've got the default input/keyboard animation back.
I add my example framework-res.apk in an CWM flashable .zip file. It's the framework from the actual JPX ROM. Theres also my own Battery Icon Mod included. Stock Battery Icon style, but with pixel exact display of the battery und charging state. This means 30 battery states displayed and not just only 4 or 5 like in the original. Even when charging. Much nices and more accurate.
Hope I could help somebody with this. If you have question just ask here. And sorry for my english
Hi,
Do you maybe know how to get this working on Sense roms. The line you added is already present in my framework-res.
Attached the framework-res.apk of my rom below.
Emm, is it the same as fancy keyboard animation from spare parts?
Just get the Spare Parts app from the Market.
Yes could someone please try get this working on Sense roms? Like casklaverstijn said that line is already present, yet the animation does not work. What else could we try?
Enabling it in spare parts makes no change too.
Hi
sorry for my bad english
There are so much blue or green themes but i didnt find a red one.
Could somebody please make one, i´m honestly too stupid to create my own theme
Yeah, it's true!i think the same thing few day ago...but i don't know if someone consider your request, coz it's so hard and boring modify the framework and change every single file... btw i hope too someone release red theme.

Now there's an idea for an app - a theme modifier that lets you select pngs from an update.zip and adjust hue/saturation slider to change the colour. I'm too busy to work on such a thing at the moment but could give it a go in a couple of months time if nobody else does!
it would be a good idea but then again people would ask for more like to have modified icons changing colours and all sorts
but at the end there would be one very very good piece of software
Hue/Saturation change won't do the trick it would need to be a really good filter .. cause it should only replace a certain scope of rgb to another one and leave all the rest untouched .. otherwise all white, greys and stuff will be also affected by the hue/saturation modification .. I've started to modify the r64 white theme to red colours, but I'm stuck on .9.png's and dunno how to change them in a proper way .. I'm thinking on changing the VA Green to Red one also
You can make it your self.
I´m changing every Theme that im using.
With Paint.Net you can change the Colors.
here is a link where you can find red, black, blue, emerald themed markets (v2.2.11) ENJOY (btw, im using the black one...awesome)

I have tried a few red tests and can confirm this. The samoled screen uses an RGBG layout, so in my experience red rext and gfx look fuzzy compared to green since the pixels are twice the size. Vibrant, yes, but fuzzy/blocky.

Hey that looks pretty cool. The progress bar is controlled by progress_horizontal.xml in /res/drawable of your framework-res.apk.
The first three colours are for the background and the next 6 are for the progress bar colour. (they're arranged top colour first, bottom colour second, middle colour third). Colours 4 and 7 are the same, as are 5 and 8, and 6 and 9. The only difference is in the transparency values. Here's the code from my theme...
Code:

<layer-list
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">

<shape>
<corners android:radius="4.659973dip" />
<gradient android:startColor="#ff131313" android:endColor="#ff181818" android:angle="270.0" android:centerColor="#ff252525" />
</shape>

<clip>
<shape>
<corners android:radius="4.659973dip" />
<gradient android:startColor="#50447b22" android:endColor="#8041612b" android:angle="270.0" android:centerColor="#8088c13d" />
</shape>
</clip>

<clip>
<shape>
<corners android:radius="4.659973dip" />
<gradient android:startColor="#ff447b22" android:endColor="#ff41612b" android:angle="270.0" android:centerColor="#ff88c13d" />
</shape>
</clip>

</layer-list>
Hope that helps.

I am wanting to change the sub-menu colour using the instructions found here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=9664604#post9664604
In /res/color/zzz_tw_secondary_text_sub.xml change the colors in the following two lines to ffffffff:
Code:

I compile the framework-res.apk and push it to the framework. In settings the colour change is visible ie- selecting Display works and so does About phone.
Location and Security, Accounts and sync, Locale and Text causes FC
I have tried signing, copying original arsc file etc but no luck
I have compiled the framework-res with a new rom also no luck
My guess is that there is a supporting file somewhere that also require to be changed. Your help is appreciated
I think you just made a "f" too much.
It should be ffffff

SOLVED
I sucessfully compiled using eclipse
I then tried a different version of apktool which worked
Syntax is ff followed by 6 hex caracter colour code in the example it is ff ffffff for white

The new ics scroll bars on holo themed apps are lovely, but if you use an app that hasnt been updated its sad to see the old gingerbread scroll bars come back.
Here is a simple mode for any rom to bring those pretty scroll bars back!
Decompile framework-res.apk
/res/values/styles.xml
lines 95-99
Code:

10.0dip

@drawable/scrollbar_handle_holo_dark

@drawable/scrollbar_handle_holo_dark

@null

@null

lines 121
Code:

@style/Widget.Holo.ScrollView

lines 218-222
Code:

@drawable/fastscroll_thumb_holo

@drawable/fastscroll_label_left_holo_dark

@drawable/fastscroll_label_right_holo_dark

@drawable/fastscroll_track_holo_dark

atThumb

6.save and go to /res/drawable/
7.make an .xml file named pulldown.xml
8. open it and paste the code below inside and save
8a. the android:drawable lines represent the images of the animation
so make sure the name of the images and the lines are the same.
so in my case the first image is called
android:drawable="@drawable/pulldown_anim001"
and je can add or remove lines to match the number of images you are going to use
Code:

<animation-list android:oneshot="false"
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android">

9. place your images you are going use in drawable-xhdpi
10. place this image in your drawable-xhdpi
11. save and compile your SystemUI
12. open your backup of the SystemUI apk and copy the res map and the resources.arsc of the just compiled apk into the backup
13. adb remount
14. adb push /system/app/
15. adb reboot
hope this is clear
this should work on every gnex rom
I tested it and like the effect!
It would be better if the glow animation would be a little more fluid. Right now you can see each "frame" of the animation.
But it doesn't affect performance yet! That's most important I think.
EDIT:
I attached a CWM-zip with the stock System-UI based on your zip. You can put it in the opening post. I guess a lot of people like to have a way back to stock without backing up the apk.

Hello
Awesome mod, I like flashy things... Just a question before I go ahead, I have black exodus, if I install this... it will still be blue right? not white?
EDIT just tried, got rid of the settings made by black exodus in the status bar, the glow is blue. Will you make mods with different colours in the future?
