I'd laugh at that price too. However, still better than on the Motorola website for $499.99. Unfortunately you can't get it on the AT&T website anymore. I was fortunate to get one when they were selling them for $50. Your best bet is to go with what anothersmith did and get one from all4cellular.

I bought one in the AT&T store about 3 weeks ago. The quoted me $99, and when I asked if there was anything else he could do, the manager took 25% off, for a final price of ~75 + tax. He told me that these docks are collecting dust, and they weren't even sure if they had any to sell when I first asked.
I think if you go to another store, or hit another manager up, you should be able to get a comparable deal. Good luck!

Just make sure to explain to them that it is the online price and you can't buy it online without the service agreement. It says to go to the store to buy it with no commitment pricing.
They rang mine up at $400. I explained the online price and they adjusted it.

I got mine from eBay from a store called "Gazelle" for $225. It was an open box item in mint condition - it came in retail box with everything - looked like I had just bought it from AT&T.
They have more in stock. They also have a 30 day no questions return and refund policy, pretty rare for an ebay store.
I've not had a single problem with it - applied NoDo and everything is working fine.

Austin got lucky. I just left BB about an hour ago activating 2 new Note 2's and they price matched Amazon at the $199.99 but they pulled it up on their own computers. I tried to show them my phone but said they had it. Plus they informed me that this is the last month that they will be price matching cellphones. Don't know how true, but both the girls at the station made sure they let me know.

I brought in a print out of the web page with a time stamp on the bottom. They were able to price match my phone. This is a hit or miss thing tho. I knew the supervisor of the mobile department and he explained to me that its at the discretion of the supervisor. He also said the reason why some bestbuys would not price match was because of the extra cancelation fees some sites have. Not sure why it would make a difference but thats what he told me.

I heard the same thing, but it is actually the 30-day price guarantee that they are doing away with. I paid $199 for mine. Radio shack has the best price for new, $169.00.

Best buy by my house is full of **** went in there with the printed ad and they said they couldn't pricematch it cuz amazons price had expired in Nov of 2012 and he showed me on the screen at Nov 2012 date but that was the day the phone came out!! I didn't complain though cuz I was trying to trick them into giving it to me for the new line price on a upgrade lol but you gotta be stern with them cuz they will try to get out of it

Yeah, I wonder as well. I think that it's probably an AT&T question though.
Its not actually $200 off, its a guaranteed $200 trade-in for any working phone. Sure, it mathematically comes out the same in the end, but without a phone to trade, you don't get the $200.
It says in there "come back on 10/10 for the trade in", it still works until then.

Best Buy has their own trade in promotion that gives you an instant $200 gift card when buying a Note 4.

So I went to Best Buy and asked one of their phone guys, about this. He said that basically you pre-order the phone (if you do it online it has to be for in store pick up, which is not available yet on their website). Then when you come into the store to pick up the phone, you can bring in any other working smart phone. Cannot have damage to it. And they need the battery and charger with it too. They will give you a 200$ credit/gift card. That can be used towards the purchase price of the phone. They will apparently let you buy the phone outright too, which I have had issues, doing with them in the past. But now with the mobile share value plans and Next and all it looks like they may have changed their tune about that finaly.
Interesting thing is that it looks like their price is 25$ cheaper than AT&T.

The problem is they say $200 trade in on any working smartphone when you trade it in on a note 4. I am gonna go in my local store today and see what they tell me.

I tried. No such luck. It was already "on the truck" for return when they looked for the returned one..
I settled for stone when it became available last thursday. UPS said "out for delivery" as of this morning.
Just checked ... they are unfortunately showing "sold out online" for both versions :'(
I bought mine for $250 on craigslist from someone who got it from Google I/O, I talked to Motorola and they said all you need for the warranty is the serial number and they registered it to my name for the one year :good:

It wouldn't hurt to go in the store and actually have someone check. I called my local best buy and they didn't have any but suggested to try calling 2 other ones near me as it showed they may have had it. So, I called one of the 2 and they told me they didn't have it. However, since that one was right by my work i figured I'd go in and ask anyways. Turns out they did have 1 left so I went ahead and picked it up.

I've noticed all the BB's I would check out had them locked in the glass cabinet with the other smartwatches, rather than on the actual display. I went to one that had three left one day. Didn't pull the trigger that day. Went a couple of days later to finally get it and they only had one left. Luckily it was Black. The guy that opened of the case didn't just hand it over to me either, he had to escort me to a register and hand it off to a cashier.
Keep being persistent and check around. But know that they do go fast if you don't act on it.

Got two, and they were available for pickup today. While everyone else was doing door busters, I walked in right at 5:00 PM open and went straight to pickup. Was out the door in minutes. i haven't plugged them in yet.

Thanks i just ordered mine. Was tempted to get it from Verizon for $30 off.
I am really liking the convenience and charging speed of it. I had to setup both of our phones on both stands. That seemed odd, but oh well. The one thing I was not expecting was how warm the device gets even through a rubber case. I find myself having to watch how long I leave it sit on the charger and even use the wired one regularly.
Order Status
I ordered mine on November 22 and it's status is still "In Progress" for local store pickup. I hope it doesn't get cancelled. Anyone else still waiting, or received one yesterday or today?
