Hey, I've searched and I've search, unable to find anything relating to rooting the Xperia Play - (My model).
Here's the details of my phone, model and current update:
Model: R800i
Android Version: 2.3.4
Kernal Version: 2.6.32.9-perf
Really?? Taken me about 1 min to look at the Xperia PLAY Development section and find this.
Confirmed working by myself.

I have SE xperia ray
Android version 4.0.4 Build number 4.1.B.0.431
Kernel 2.6.32.9-perf
Since I upgraded from 4.0.3 (It was rooted) I can't root it again ... Is there any one-click methods of doing this?
not yet but there is a simple method
.flash the 4.0.3 kernel with flashtool
.use the one click root as you do normaly
.flash the 4.0.4 kernel
Just go to android dev forum there is a thread about this method in it

I had seen that to make the Xperia Arc Root S is necessary to make a "donwgrade" in the system leaving it to .42, but WHAT would ftf?
Do you have any tutorial taught to do these procedures?

But yet you replied to it well enough. Click the link you were given, then quoted, then read the guides that are in it. If you need to spoon fed go join another forum, if you came here to learn, then start doing so.

I think it is better to search google with the following words.
Xpera Arc S root
Flashtool ftf
etc.
You will find the tool information and many links to xda with explanation.

It's not that simple to find the right stuff for your phone (it took me a while to find the versions I wanted). First, you need to downgrade your firmware to version 4.0.2.A.0.42, you can find the right TFT file and flash it using Flashtool or use Wotanserver, then you need to use DoomLord's Rooting kit. There are plenty of tutorials and stuff on the net, just go and explore
never tried it on an arc s though, but has anyome tried using the outdated z4root app on the device while running on official ics 4.0.4?

No need to downgrade to a older firmware if you want to root the 6.1.A.2.55 firmware. You can use this tool and root your phone by simply clicking one button - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2204321
