Highly Recommend had this app since the Vibrant
I just jumped on the bandwagon too.
I've heard great things about this player, so I'm taking a leap of faith
I been on this for awhile, to me this is better than them all even beats. Proweramp rules....

Also just bandwagoned... love sales... is it common in this forum for folks to post great apps on sale? How can u learn of sales otherwise?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk
I had to buy this, since it almost replaced my trust Cowon i9 media player. Almost, the sound quality is much more packing on my i9, but Poweramp's slew of features and convenience is overall better.
Awesome deal, thanks.
Been using this app since it firts came out and i have to say it doesnt get better any better than this.

For those who've been looking for a pair of great of IEMs with android compatable inline controls, the S4a's are out. Happened to come across them at Futureshop today so it was a pleasant surprise, although I'm still iffy about the 120CAD I put towards them. Once they have about 100+ hours of burn in I'll decide if I'll keep 'em for a few reasons.
The box includes the usual multiple sized tips and the earbuds themselves, but they also come with a clip to use to attach the mic/control onto clothing and a nice sized carrying case.
According to Kilpsch themselves, they have incredible functionality with their customized app, which I'll be looking into it over the next few weeks.

Sure.
Just from toying around with them thus far I've come across a couple things that irritate me personally to do with the controls, but I might be able to find workarounds for these little hassles.

I got them from Futureshop up here in Canada for 120CAD.
Quick first impression:
I expected that you could only customize the three functions (single, double, and triple click) and speed of clicking. That's certainly the case. Their volume control is non-customizable and very finicky, and the speed to control the button timing isn't all too great either. Otherwise it does what it says it does, just not every function at once of course.
I won't go into their sound as there are hundreds of reviews of the S4's sound online, and the only difference with these to the usual S4 is the addition of a button.
the app works for me too no problems
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Old thread by now, but I'm thinking of picking these up for my S2.
I'm sure the sound and stuff is great from the sound of other online reviews, but what I'm worried about is the durability of the cord.
How has your cords been?
And if you could, give a little description of how you've been using them.
Thanks
So did the beats audio files every really work on our phones?
I personally couldn't tell the difference, but it may be because I didn't put the files in the right spot because I placed them in the folders myself, not just flashed the .zip.

Beats audio is a built in equalizer which sounds like poop unless you can control it. That I think on phones its all software not hardware like on laptops. I have the DV6 from HP with beats and stock its terrible... had to adjust and even then it likes to dim when treble is too high and sounds stupid.

You both know nothing about audio. Beats are only popular because they are well advertised and look cool. There are much better headphones and audio drivers. The epic does not even need this placebo crap because we have a wolfson audio chip.

Or better yet The older Skull Candy's reason why is the company who makes the speakers for them changed a afew years ago so now they don't sound as good as they used to.
But I really like Klipsch. I have their Pro Media 2.1 for Pc Has some good hard hitting bass.

I got some $20 skullcandy headphones on amazon that work great. I also have some vmoda ear plug type that I got back with my original iphone. I like the sound but when I put things in my ear they get itchy. I'm not an audiophile but since I am working on my masters in engineering I know a few people who do a lot with audio and they all say beats is a marketing gimmick. I've personally never put on a pair though.

Something we can agree on, this guy in my speech class said he had paid 400$ for them b/c of warranty and he says the sound amazing, and the bass is good I wanted to laugh so effing hard and state some damn facts of how ****ty they are regardless it his opinion but clearly he hasn't listen to some good damn headphones. I think in all honesty my damn 80$ Klipsch s4's sound better than that POS. The bass go outs in one ear in the beats, design is ****ty. Must I Go ON, with Build Quality.
Its all about the speaker drivers and architecture it uses. The amount of impedance it has, OHM's, etc...
There are two types of main speaker drivers and they are dynamic or something else I can't remember but its more like actual live sound the Klipsch x10 use them if I'm not mistaken

Are you trying to argue for the sake of being heard? I specified what they were equivalent in, they're both garbage. I even went on and gave more descriptive words to define their laughable "quality". Please read carefully or dispute with a bit more of intelligence, but please, do state if you're like 13, I don't find myself a point in arguing with children. Lol, I know you may be slightly butt-hurt / bitter because it was your money that was spent on skull candy's, I'm not hating on the Brand, just the quality sound it lacks to offer. I'd sell your skull candy's to some noob/sucker and invest on some CX 300's on Amazon, you'll want to marry me for recommending such an amazing affordable choice.

It's more for music than just phone calls, but I really like the LG Tone headphones... http://www.lg.com/us/cell-phone-accessories/lg-HBS700-tone
Newegg often has them for about $40
I use it for work (though I am not that guy that wears it at all times and that is why I lose them). That one looks cool for the gym though.

I use this one for the same purpose: http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/voyager-pro
The only complaint I have is that it does not stream the media side of the SGS3.
It is basically for cellular use, which is all I need on the job.
You can get it on Amazon and other sites for considerably less money than what is quoted on this site.

Dude.. do you not review products before you buy them?? Beats headphones are a pure marketing ploy. While thy have really good build quality, the sound they output is worth MUCH less than they retail for. We have Beats headphones at work and a few friends have some beats buds. I have a $100 pair of Sonys I bought 3 years ago that blow any of the Beats headphones out of the water.
Do your research. Unless you don't care about sound quality, you have much better alternatives out there.

To be honest you should really look into Klipsch brand buds they are honestly the best bang for the buck headphones i have ever purchased and they come with a 2 year warranty! Who does that?! I researched and tested many and they have the hands down best sound quality for under 100$ you can hear distintive tones and pitches simultaneously and hear high and lows while having some noise canceling ability.
