Just installed aokp build 27. Is there a way to remove the bottom nav bar? Its pretty useless since we have them built into the phone.
Go into settings/rom control/power menu, check nav bar. It will now be in your power menu when holding down the power button. Uncheck the nav bar items. Now the nav bar should be gone. You can now either leave the nav bar settings in the power menu, or go back to settings/rom control/power menu and turn off the navbar from the power menu.

anyone know how to change home button to maybe press hides bar long press unhides. That would be great. Much more useful as a full screen button I think.
Anyway to customize the navigation bar. Like put back the "legacy" search button and permanent menu button?

Hello,
I just got my Tmobile M8 and my only complaint is that the lock button is too high.I remember seeing a video where lock button shortcut is added to the Nav bar swipe up menu. That seems very convenient.
How do I do that?
Is there any way to hide the nav bar while in split screen mode? I have my nav bar auto hide all of the time but when using two apps side by side, it reappears and there is no longer an option to hide it.
Am I missing the logic behind this? Surely when using two apps on the one screen, that extra space is even more important?
After the Android Oreo update, the gesture options allow you to get rid of the navigation bar and use swipe gestures to perform functions such as "back" "background windows" and "home". However entering split screen mode from this stage is my concern.
I just installed LOS 19.1 on my tablet. This is my first experience with LOS (and Android 12). On my home screent has the normal 3-button navigation bar at the bottom but moves it off to the right and adds toolbar launch buttons in the middle. Is there a way to bring back just the normal old Android navigation buttons without the added stuff?
EDIT: The navigation bar is being displayed over top of apps, so I can't access the bottom part of apps.
Took me forever to find this option....
