Why is it that everytime I restore apps when returning from ICS back to a sense Rom, they force close when trying to open them unless I uninstall them and then reinstall them in the market

You are using the ICS version for a GB ROM, so they won't work.

Are there any known issues with restoring backup app/data to jb from ics? I ask because this is where I began bootlooping after an install of jb that ultimately led to a full factory reset and I really don't want to go through this again.

i restored 230 apps from ics to jb, with their data, without a single issue.
I had no issues with titanium in JB after backing up from ICS. The only issue I have is trying to delete a system app from titanium. I ended up using root explorer.
I wanna experience what JB has to offer, my question is: normally when I have to do a full wipe to go to a new base on a rom e.g going from a 1.29 base to a 2.17, I did a nandroid backup upgraded then restored just the data from the back up it worked fine will that work if I am doing it with an AOSP rom incase I like it? Thanks

Use tb to backup your apps then restore after upgrade
I used to do it your way. However much less app problems with titanium backup.

I have just switched from sense 4.1 rom to stock gingerbread rooted.
After restoring apps from backup, they fc. The only method to make they work is deleting data, loosing all the saves.
Is caused by the odexed / deodexed?
What can I do?
Thanks for help!

Yes. It is caused by that.
I tried the same rom, but in deodexed version, and all is fine.
Yes its usually caused by the change in the Android versions.
Always prefer to restore only the app not the app+data if you're switching from GB to ICS or JB or vice versa.

Planning to do a factory reset and was wondering which program is best to sync my apps and its layout? I just dont want to redo my phones layout again.
Titanium backup or rom toolbox pro. Both work good.

Both of those required rooting my phone?
Sorry, if your not rooted then maybe try carbon backup. It has a way to backup apps plus data without root. Otherwise to backup the apps data too I'm pretty sure you need to be rooted.

Before I rooted I used my backup pro (but the free one works too) and I would back up apps and data and then install the app again after flash and everything would go back the way it was.

I have TWRP on my phone. I got the stock 4.1.2 ROM. Is there any way I can just download something to upgrade it so I don't have to reinstall all my apps and redo everything on my phone? Or will I just have to install a fresh ROM. I wanted to get a direct answer so I don't mess my phone up.
