did anyone notice that since Feb 29 the phone is displaying the wrong date ? !
Like today we are Saturday, March 4 and the phone is showing :
Saturday, March 3
If i set the date manually then the day shows wrong !!! as below ...
Sunday, March 4
Am I the only one having this issue ?

Where are you at? Here on the east coast my phone shows Sat March 3rd and it is in fact Sat March 3rd. I believe the network sets the date I'm not sure if there is a manual override.

First 2 numbers is the year. 2011.
W = week
Last 2 numbers is the week number.
So roughly it was made around last week of march 2011.

There's an article on Engadget from last week about this, but doesn't mention the US release date
I refuse to believe the post-November 17th US launch date. November 10th date was almost listed on every possible place in Verizon's system so far. If this is the only place where they say otherwise, then I have a feeling we should take that with a grain of salt.
Everyday I go to all the phone websites hoping to see this :

Oct 27 was listed for the RAZR but that turned out to just be a pre-order. They may be pushing it back such as to not cut into sales of their truly exclusive product. It can't be good for the RAZR if the drop at the same time, one with ICS and one without.

I was wondering, does this work with any tv? Since some tv's have limited codec's (like my sony HX923) this could be a dealbreaker for me.
As far as I know it's simple HDMI connection, so works with any HDMI TV.

Yeah same here mate, havent heard from them buggers. They first said that within 28 days and i emailed them last week about this and they said I'll get AFTER 28 days of the delivery. I've never had a good experience with them.
Spoke to them Saturday and they said all orders even if not a pre order would get it within 28 days from.contract start date. I would imagine we will see them a week or two after release which I'm led to believe is the 24th April.

What sort of backwards company says that!? Saying AFTER 28 days could mean anything u can get it on the 29th day or 100th day

From what I understand it is pretty immediately after 28 days as you have to stay connected to the network and pay the first months bill, although time will tell
still waiting here to hear about medialink. ive phone and i all i got was the 28days BS. also waiting for £50 refund and quidco from them aswell

well phone was released 5th April so 28 days isn't up yet,as for quidco it usually takes a number of weeks for the money to show doesn't it?

It has been delayed. The exact release date is currently unknown, but it could be towards the end of May. Annoying as I am really excited to see one of these in action.

HTC claims they will release the full range of by the end of this month, in Asia that is.

Comes with a HDMI cable and another charger. The cable for HD Media Link is at least double the length of the one supplied with the phone.
And it's all in black.
Got mine today too. Just picked up from post office.

They didn't stream it since the Note 2 was launched 3 months ago. The launching in the US was only on the 24th !!

Do a google search around then, i'm sure there will be tons of live blogs going.
I googled all over too, for North America launch event, no website gaved any updates about launch party.
