After a brief stay on CM7 I left for non-important reasons. Went back to CleanGB and was wondering if I could get DSP Manager to work on it. I tried making a TB of DSP off of CM7 and then restoring it in CleanGB but everytime I plug my headphones in DSP FCs on me. Tried downloading it as an APK same thing, changed from stock kernel to Shadow still same thing. So is there anyway to make it work?
Someone ported dsp manager for all GB ROMS. Check the apps section.

Kindly use search, it's even more appreciated. It's there somewhere dude. You might have to search a few pages but it's there. Maybe try development too.

I thought there was one for Gingerbread. Hmm.

I had the mod before. Somehow I lost it on my big a$$ sdcard lol. I've searched for the thread that has it but my exhausted search came up empty. Can someone post the URL to the topic? I'd appreciate it to the 10th power!

Was it MIUI, or the Honeycomb music, or the native gingerbread music? Could've been any of them really. Need more info...then I could probably upload it for ya.

I believe this is the HC music app. I don't recall if it installs, or if you need to drop it in your /system/app folder. I want to say, if memory serves me correctly, that it just installed like a normal app. Put it on your sd card, use Astro to navigate to it, click on it, and see if it'll install.

HAHA glad we could help
Got another dilemma ... the hc music app keeps force closing after flashing the update zip file. Do any of y'all have a fix on this? I installed the apk first. Then flashed the hcmusicupdate.zip and it now FC upon opening.
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
Use the program Root Explorer and go to system/app press the Mount R/W button on the top right. Then scroll down to the stick music apk (the one with the headphones) long press it, then hit delete. The HC music player will become your default player. You may have to reboot to apply the changes. Note that every time you flash a new CM rom, including nightlies, you'll have to delete the stock music app as it gets restored each time.

I'm searching for syndicate rom version 1.0.2 or 1.1.0 fully loaded users to do some touchwiz theme testing. In house acs testing is being done but I want to try more phones to get a wider range of results. what I needed is just for you to flash a theme and see if it all works fine. If not we need to do a little but of troubleshooting so a solid nandroid is a must but it could all work the first go round. Post in the thread if theres anyone interested and for more details.

Here you go https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Public/Giger2.0tw.zip?w=59c06432
This is the new Giger theme for touchwiz flash this and see for me. The problem on sr101 was that the dialer tab activity, contacts, and phone.apk would completely remove the phone icon from the phone when themed. Even when I themed directly from the apps in the rom. I'm hoping this issue is resolved in the sr110 but if it hasn't I want to figure it out so those on fully loaded can enjoy full themes as well.

The ssl sites and tapatalk always does this. When you get to the webpage and it don't load, look up at the address bar in your browser. It will have http://https:// at the beginning of the address. Delete the http:// leaving https:// and the rest of the address then hit enter

Thank you the last rom tested was 1.0.1 but I'm hoping both 1.0.2 and 1.1.0 don't have the issue theres just less touchwiz users that mod than the rest of us so a wide range of testing just don't happen

110 and theme seems to have taken fine. Only thing I see is the messaging icon isn't themed. Attaching screenshots.
Oh yeah. I slacked on the icons cause I replaced all of them with the adw launcher but since this is touchwiz I'll open the system apps and fix that. Once again thank you

I honestly thought that I would find an answer for this but apparently I truly am "special" or weird in this one. I am brand new to the world of rooting and roms and currently have the latest version of Cleangb running on my epic. Fantastic rom and a giant thanks to any and all involved. One thing that has always driven me crazy about the epic is whenever you lose your signal or regain your signal there is an audible sound. I am sure getting rid of it is as easy as just deleting the audio file for it but I have done some searching through the root directory and cannot find the audio file for it. Does anyone know the location of this file? Also is it safe to delete or does one need to replace it with a blank audio file?

I can tell you that the tone is not present on cm7 & 9. But I am have never been able to find where its stored.

/system/media/audio/ui the file should be in here. i am on cm9 so i cant tell you the exact name of file. i dont like sounds other than ringtone, notification and alarm so i delete the entire ui folder and all unused ringtones etc.

I took a look at the CleanGB zip and searched the ui folder and found no sounds there...And an extensive Google search netted the same results. Seems the question has been asked a bunch of times across multiple forums and devices, but no has responded with a clear answer. Maybe one of our devs out here can find the solution. Although I am really starting to think it is possibly built into the ROM framework, instead of just a notification sound...
It has been attempted by our best devs. It is cooked into the TW ROM to where it has never been found.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
I will try just moving the entire ui folder out and see if that does anything and report back. If that doesn't work then yeah hopefully one of the devs can clarify if it is built into the rom. Thanks for the posts everyone.
And then throw on an AOSP ROM like CM7 and problem solved.

I would like to try CM7 at some point but I am a little apprehensive about it at the moment. What led me to root and put a new rom on was how disgusted I was with the constant freezing of stock. CleanGB appeared to look the most stable of any out there. Since I use easytether a lot I liked that the mobile hotspot was also unlocked. Correct me if I am wrong but CM7 does have some tethering issues does it not? It just seemed like there were a few more issues associated with it than CleanGB at this point. I am open to convincing though!

Somehow I missed your reply. That clear it up quite a bit though. My only question though is CleanGB is based of of GB and not TW so does that mean he just cooked it into the GB rom as well?

CleanGB is based off TW stock. It's not AOSP Gingerbread, it just has the TW apps removed.

That's b/c he solved his problem by not trying to use DSP in AOKP.
You down with OPP???
If you would like DSP for any ICS rom, you can download it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=970991&d=1332997130
You should be able to flash this in CWM/TWRP... You might need to move it to system/app manually, but it should work, it will not work if you are using voodoo sound... or doesn't seem to anyways...
DSP Manager does not work with 3rd party apps at the moment (on CM9), only with Google Music as far as I know.
Probably why it wasn't included in the AOKP ICS...

works with the new Apollo music player look in general for post
I installed CM 10 last night and the gapp pack compatible with 4.1. Everything looks good and current except I have no camera at all on my D700. The camera button does nothing, there is no camera app, and if I try to get to the camera through 'Movie Studio', the application fails. I searched the forum but it seems most people's camera app just crashes. Mine doesn't exist at all.
Redownload and reinstall and make sure you wipe.......try fixing permissions first though

Well, I did that and got the camera back. Now the WiFi won't connect.

Thank you. I appreciate your help. I hope I don't push my luck but I am very new at this. Can you give me a little more information on what that means and where to find it? Do I need to wipe all data before flashing this or just go ahead and flash it on top of the CM10 and gapps that are already installed?
