clearbass was working well before i flash the ftf file(MT15i_62_data 380m to 420m.ftf) and arcoum7.2(with dsp manger) after i flashed it, my phone was reseted to factory mode. Then i copy lt26i player and flash clearbass package,but it not working.
i try to use flashtool to flash offical rom,and wipe my phone,but it still not working
the problem is after u set the eq and clearbass level,then press back, open the eq again ,u will see the clearbass level is in -15! but the eq tuner 0.06 is on the high level.
who can help me

Since 1st time I rebooted my phone (even before I had my friend Root and flash Blazer 4.0,) my Samsung Epic 4G touch would play this Phone ring tone titled " minimal tone " that is a major annoyance and I cant find the file or source to delete or
change the settings. This occurs only when I reboot the phone. Btw- my actual phone ringtone is NOT set to this tone. I thought maybe a music player/media player was at fault. ( where I could delete the app ). And even after doing complete wipe prior to flashing Blazer 4.0, it still plays this tone. As i said, this tone existed prior to rooting or Flashing rom.
I thought there might be a way to extract and delete this file-
Please send me detailed info on how and where I can correct this. I even took phone to Sprint ( preroot/rom ) and they had no clues.. the tone will play for 3-5 minutes. please people- help me out.( I hope its not a defect,)
You need root access to remove the start up tone. I think all the ROMs for this phone have it removed by default though.
administrative access- tone file delete
phone is rooted- I just dont know how to find this particular file/tone and delete it and/or change settings
I believe its located in system/media/video/shutdown

THANKS ! was under system/media/audio/ringtones/minimal tone and de-leted !!!,,, next- I will have to see if the system plays any other tone by some strange systematic replacement
or if it will simply be muted as desired. I searched in the great app ROM TOOLBOX,,root browser ( paid version ) and Voila !

Need Expert assistance-
The tone itself was deleted- I rebooted phone 3-4 times since , changing boot animation and font change ( using rom toolbox )
but was shocked when on the 5th reboot the dreaded sound played !! but when I looked in the file of ringtones- its gone !

I found that the new google now voice command has a really awesome sound after it is complete. i think it would make a perfect notification sound. i think i found the sound "sucess.wav" in velvet.apk from the jelly bean rom. i extracted it but i am unable to get it to play anywhere. i tried on my phone and computer but both failed. i dont have much experience with these and it may not be the right file.
anyone have some insight?
It's a raw file. Download Audacity, select File -> Import -> Raw Data....
It will ask you to input the bit, sample rate and channels of the file. It seems to be a 16bit mono 32000hz audio file. So try that.

After i tried to connect my phone to my speakers and download a few programs and delete them after being unsuccesfull , i noticed when i put my headphones , phone doesnt see it and doesnt warn , also i cant hear any voice but BzzZzzz . Is there any way i fix it myself or should i send it ?

Did you try another headphones? You can try to reset default data/wipe and set factory data and you will see. If the problem persists try to claim you phone.

I have installed cm 10.1 on my phone (before was SVHD v2.0.0).
When i have installed viper4android (last version) all works fine ( i had to uninstall dsp manager to work properly), but when i reboot or power on after shutdown the phone, the Quality of the sound with headphones becomes Down, and the bass distorts too much, the solution that i have try (i have found this testing alone and it work, after some tries) is uninstall the driver, reboot, install the high quality driver, reboot, Celestial Sound Quality one more time ^^ , but if i power off or reboot... i have to do this process one more time!!!

put in build.prop these lines:
lpa.decode=false
tunnel.decode=false
lpa.use-stagefright=false
lpa.releaselock=false

Just installed Malaysk rom the other day, but i got a little problem.
I want to make it possible to make my head unit do a boot sound (PowerOn.ogg).
I've been reading how to change this sound and it worked great on my phone (LG G2), but when I'm trying to do it on my head unit nothing have changed.. Just like stock, 1. Malaysk logo 2:Choosen animation (BMW).
I used Root Explorer, System-Media-Audio-Ui and pasted my custom PowerOn.ogg file. Just to mention, there was no PowerOn nor PowerOff files before. There is some other .ogg files but not these 2 files..
So my questions is= Is it possible to make it work? If yes, how?

The command will execute on startup and play the sound file.
But I don't have an idea for playing a sound file when the device is shutting down...

It is a basic Tasker function. It would best for you to read/watch starting guides via Google. In my opinion, tasker would be too slow for an effective boot sound effect.

Well the tasker thing is not working.. I've been trying to play around with tasker, without success..
