Try UOT Kitchen:
http://uot.dakra.lt/
Has a lot of customization options. Click kitchen to get started and read carefully.
Post if you have any other questions. I haven't done it too much but it allows tons of customization. Only downside is you gotta wait for it to be ready after submitting. It builds a flashable zip that I advise a nandroid prior to flashing (good practice anyways).

here is a theme

Battery Icon Mod Question on ERA Simply AOSP EC05 Rom

I just flashed the ERA Simply AOSP Rom EC05. It has a "Simply Settings" app which you can change between 3 themes but I do not like the battery icons.
I installed Battery Icon Mod app but under Epic 4G it only lists DK28 and Experience Roms so I am guessing this is either outdated or I am using the app wrong but either way I figured I would double check here first.
So, on this rom is there an easy way to get a battery icon I like such as the circle with percentage in it?
Note: I am not looking to add a 2nd icon on the left of the status bar, I wish to replace the batery icon on the right.
Install a theme? Or edit the included themes. I am not going to teach you, but the files to edit for those themes are in system/saosp folder.

I believe maddoggins theme has the circle with percentage in it, doesn't it?

Revolution Remix theme has a nice circle batt icon. If you only want the icon changed, qbking77 has a youtube vid that'll show you how to flash only parts of a theme, if you don't know how to do so already. Pretty easy process.

{REQ} Notification Pulldown Mod (theme) For Digital Warfare*Who Knows How To Theme?**

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in theming the notification pulldown for Digital Warfare to match the notification bar. So it would be black with the icons green when selected, and a transparent background. I am going to start messing with UOT kitchen on my days off this week so I can start creating my own mods, but it would be awesome if someone could do this! I'm sure a lot of people using Digital Warfare would be happy to see this.

I've cooked some themes through UOT for digital warefare and they work alright.. I had to manually push systemui.apk in order for the status bar to take effect.. There is no option to edit the quick toggle panel in the status bar and this is what I want.. tdj posted a screenshot (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22409207&postcount=934).. looks amazing but can't find the resources to duplicate and I don't believe he's sharing the theme. If you can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

I just might give this a go. Is it a flashable zip? I'm going to teach myself how to use UOT Kitchen this week, usually doesn't take me long to figure things out so I'm hoping within the next week or 2 I'll have a little something to share.
But until then, it would be AWESOME if someone could replicate the one in the post from TDJ.

before flashing the zip:
wipe both the cache partition and the dalvik cache then mount both system and data.
uot is very simple and you'll lose hours trying different settings..
you'll need to pull 3 files from the warfare ROM but the website gives great directions.. if you need any help just ask and I'll share what I know..
I'm trying to duplicate his status bar and if I do, you'll be the first to know!

Transparent Notification Bar?

Hey I know there are mods for 75% transparent and black, but I cant find a fully transparent one.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance.
Running stock deodexed LJC rom.

Fyi this should be in the Q & A section. But to answer your Queston, in my opinion, a completely transparent "status bar" causes the bar to change color to whatever the last app was that was running behind it. It retains this color until another app is opened that changes the color again. That's probably why people keep at least 25%. As far as the "notification background" (dropdown window), I'm sure there are a few out there. Some roms have the option built in. Id recommend trying an aokp rom or a heavily themable Touchwiz ROM. I'm on tmobile though so i can't help you choose the right ROM. Good luck!

Which LJC rom are u running....I think ur looking for a stand alone mod that'll give you 100% right.......check themes and apps and see if there is something there. Also check with ur rom's dev....he may have something in his mods section or maybe working on something already
Morphology will allow you to set it at 100% transparancy. It's posted in the themes section and allows you to modify alot of different things. A little weird to navigate through since you do it in recovery... I would recommend writing down the options you want from the thread before you actually launch into it. And of course make a back-up first. Have fun!

I've started to wonder why would you even need ninjamorph ?It's a nice app, no doubt about it. But the way I do it is, just extract the framework-res.apk using ES file explorer, replace the pngs of your choice, zip the contents of the apk back, rename .zip to .apk, move to system/framework & set permissions. That's it !

it saves time and it is simple..!!
experienced users can do that by your way, but for newbies ninjamorph is good

In ninjamorph, you dont have to extract anything. Png replacement is supported. No need to zip, rename and set permissions.
