cases that fit lte + extended battery?

which cases fit the phone with extended battery? i tried a couple at verizon and they didn't fit very well

I'm using the Incipio Silicrylic case with the ext. battery. It has a slight bulge but barely noticeable. Lots of good info here:

FYI - your link has one person saying the Silcrylic will fit with the extended battery and another saying it won't.

Larger case for S3 with extended battery installed?

I've recently gone ahead and purchased two extra batteries (extended higher capacity versions). One 3300 mAh and one 4300 mAh. They both come with their own special (larger) battery back cover. This in turn makes the phone much thicker and no normal case or protector will fit anymore. I've looked everywhere and just can't find any larger cases.
Has anyone found or know where to look for larger cases that will fit S3's that have extended batteries? I really do need to find something.

Issue is that not all that is on Amazon.com is available on the .CA site too... that link in the posting helped and talked about the Cell and Hyperion batteries and cases... as for Cell..can't get any of those on .CA site but thankfully the Hyperion cases were available so I ordered that...it literally was the only larger cases I could find online...but at last its something. Anybody here has any idea where I can get the Hyperion's extended battery outside of US? Or anywhere that does international shipping as I'm quite interested in it.

Wish there was a more protective case available then the TPU ones personally

This is the one I am considering.

I've posted a few pics below. The only back cover that I could find with the Anker 4400 was blue so that's what I have on there. Can't really tell with the cover on. I might spray it with some white if I don't like it. I have a size comparison with my wife's iPhone in a Speck case. Not much thicker. I'll be carrying this setup around SXSW next year.

I have the tpu case for my extended battery but can still use my seido holster to hold the phone, works for me

The Hyperion 4200 with honeycomb TPU case still works with the Seidio extended holster? Do you mind posting some pictures before I place my order?

Nice case! I hope the one I ordered looks like that. I'm just glad there are finally some options available!

Sorry for the late reply, yes it does fit. Picture attached! Fits pretty good, is not loose by any means but it goes in and out as it did with the Surface Case for the stock backplate and battery. It goes in all the way to the bottom and the top spring clip holds fine.
Ignore the chibi batman box in the background =)

Adding that i use holster with this combo day in and out and i never worry about the phone. The holster is one tough cookie

I've recently purchased the officiel extended battery 3000 maH from Samsung ( cdn03.androidauthority.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Galaxy-S3-extended-battery-kit.jpg ). And I have the same issue I need to look for a case that will fit with my Samsung S3 and extended batteries 3000 MaH.

Hey guys with this phone and this battery do you know where I can get a gel / tpu case from ?? I'm sure there's cases that will fit but I searched online and some on here but not having luck any help would be great thanks

I've been looking for a TPU bumper to work with the extended seidio back cover even cut one to make it fit but it didnt work out. Wish there was a TPU case that would work with it.

Sweet!!!! Thanks for the help I'm going to try that that's funny case I searched google for something like that and it just popped random otterbox sites and cases but nothing about customizing a otterbox to fit extended battery

There are a couple with different size batteries. I remembered it was done and I had to Google it myself.
I searched Otterbox Defener, Extended Battery, XDA.
Google works better for searching the forum or that's just my personal preference.

Looking for a good combo rubber case/clip holster/kickstand...

My phone is the Verizon Galaxy Nexus i515 and I've had the red Seidio cover for a long time. It came with a clip holster but the clip broke after 2 days. Got another holster and it broke again in 6 days. This was just from slight/small snags.
Basically I'm looking for something that can hold up against small snags. Also has all 3 combo (good rubber case/kickstand/clip holster).
This is something I'm looking for... only downside to this one is it doesn't come with a clip holsters. There's no indication, even on "what else user's bought after buying this", whether any clip holster will fit this particular brand. Link below...

I like the thickness of it and how it has small covers for the USB port and headphone jack. It also has the kickstand.
Does anybody have this particular one and have a clip holster with it? If you do, which one fits with this brand? If not, is there anything exactly like the link above with all 3 combo?

You could try the Trident Kraken A.M.S. case. It comes with a belt clip. Its around $20 on Amazon.

Glad I could help. I have their Aegis case for my GNex and I love it. The Blue looks awesome. And if you have any issues with it, Trident has awesome customer service.

Probably not. These are for stock only. I think I saw a Seidio case awhile back that had options to accommodate a bigger battery door. Seidio and Trident are my 2 preferred cases but I've never looked into one for bigger batteries cause I've never had an extended battery before.
You could type stuff like Trident Kraken case for extended battery. Same with Seidio.

Thanks for the help. I saw that one yesterday. I'd rather not have the huge 3500-3800 battery so I have been looking around for one and am not having much luck. I'll just keep looking. :good:

I don't know how the kraken is, but my wife and I both have Trident's Aegis cases for our Sprint Galaxy Nexi and they fit good, even with the 2100maH battery.

It looks like the Aegis isn't a holster case.

The Kraken case is really good. Its encasing my Gnex right now. Provides ultimate protection and with military grade screen protector. Only issue with it
Is that its a pain in the arse to take apart when I have to do battery pulls sometime when flashing ROMs. I have no complaint about the rest of it.

I think with a better wording for what you're looking for is making it harder to find one. I know some products require specific wording in the search in order for it to show up. I was hoping that link would get you somewhere. I'll help you look for something when I get home from work.
You could also start a thread, if you haven't yet, and see if anyone bought what you're looking for and can point you to where they got it from.

Thanks for the replies. I've got the Verizon holster and I like it but with this OEM extended battery and cover, its a real snug fit. In fact it's really too snug.

My carbon case. It comes with a two layer case with a really cool kickstand, a holster that can double as a stand, and I screen protector for under 15 bucks on amazon. I don't have a like but it's pretty easy to find

Case for 3000mAH Extended Battery

Hello,
my battery life is pretty bad nowadays, I think the battery that came with my I9300 is dying, it's draining fast,
So I searched in eBay for a genuine replacement (they sell fakes in my country so..), but I saw that they are probably fake too because of the low price.
but I found the 3000mAH Extended Battery and thought of buying it, untill I saw that my Balliitic SG maxx probably won't fit, and I want my phone to have a good protection, so is there a good case that can provide some decent protection for the phone with the extended battery?
Or.. maybe you know of eBay store that sells genuine I9300 battery or any other online store that sells genuine batteries and that ships internationally?

thanks for the help, but I really don't want my phone to look and feel like a refrigerator, I prefer something at max the size of the 3000. but that it will have a good protective case in the style of ballistic, that gives quite a good protection in case your phone falls on its screen ( which happened a few times with this case and it really saved it)

I am not looking for a regular case, I have ballistic SG maxx and it's great, but I wanted to know what cases are going to fit the 3000mAh samsung extended battery and that will provide same level of protection (but I highly doubt there are)

Diztronic is the only case for the extended battery that I know of.

The Diztronic cases are great. Really good quality, and relatively inexpensive too. I have the matt Black one on mine.
I only wish they came in more colors (I'd really like a red one).
