[Help] Rooting using Mac

I am trying to root my phone but seems like there are no instructions on how can i do it using MAC
can someone help me with the instructions ?

Oy vey. Once again, as I told someone in another thread, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read the stickied posts before you create a new thread. There's a really well-titled one you should read in particular: Don't Start A New Thread - HTC Espresso:MyTouch 3G Slide Questions & Answers Here!
And this should have really been posted in the Slide Q&A Forum...
But, with that said, these rooting instructions work perfectly fine on a Mac.

I really want to root it but im not a a techy type, but i know how to follow instructions. I just need a step by step on how to root it & the files needed. I do not know how to work with command promp. so please tell me all the commands i need to put in step by step so i can understand. thanks. please help & sorry for being so dumb on these things :\

Honestly, not trying to be a ****, but all the answers can be found very easily if you just look at all the posts that are stickied in this forum. One of them will have the answer you're looking for. If you still can't find it, then you probably shouldn't have posted to begin with.

Been there and done that and understand where you are coming from. I actually followed the following link and it was VERY useful as it is expalined step by step http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=754669
As far as the ROM he uses I cannot tell you if it is good or not but if you "flash" (unzip) [ROM] SLIDE-Reloaded v1 [9/16/10] Sense 2.1 this one it is similar to what you have now and you can slowly ease into other ones once you get used to using your phone.
PM me if I can help with this process. I am a noob myself so can't really explain a lot to you but as far as the steps go I can try and help.

The Development pinned threads is a good place to start. Come on man. Do some research, read the forums. Don't expect anyone here will guide you step by step on how to do it.

Good day xda,like the title says,just got a new G2,with 2.3.4,and i cant seem to find a good and simple way to root it,and am getting really frustrated,am kinda new to androids,so dnt knw most terms used....

follow this, the cyanogen wiki, or strawmetals pdf guide. do not follow any guide other than these three. they are all essentially the same but the only tried and true method

I just bought galaxy nexus and wanted to learn everything from locking to flashing. But as you can see I really confused with so many tutorials out there which is the right one to guide me . Can you please point a tutorial which can teach basic topics like rooting modding flashing theming etc
Also which mod is good , which stock is good .
