Can i use "metod 3" in AGPS Patch Wildfire 3.1 & 2.2 on HTC wildfire , and did i use this build : "Google Specific CWM Flashable" ???
Yes you can, it will make your GPS faster... Just download the ZIP file, reboot into recovery, Flash the ZIP file and restart

i have s off wildfire with cm703 installed, but gps is not working,
i read that it will work after downgrade of radio to:Radio_13.53.55.24H_3.35.19.25.zip
(now is:3.35.20.10.zip)
but when i go into clockword recovery and install zip from sd it says:
installation aborted,signature failed, why ?
disable signature check ? i am affraid of doing that.
and when in windows i type fastboot flash radio radio.img (extracted from zip) it not working says: malformed 1 byte.
when i test archive in winrar - no errors.
Disable signature check obviously..
And you can only flash radio in 2.5 I think.
Yes, you need an old Clockworkmod for it. (2.x).Install Clockworkmod via ROM Manager Application in CM, then, Reboot into Recovery, Again using ROM Manager. This way, you will have both versions, 2.x and 3.x
i just flash this http://www.multiupload.com/OABIOPUGX7 ftf file then fastboot DooMKernel-v8
and install bravia engine.
Bravia engine work perfectly for now, but the wireless cant use,
i tried install wifi module, provide by doomlord, and its still same,
there is some method that i dont understand,
7. reboot phone and enter recovery mode
8. flash the wifi modules update.zip for my kernel (is it suppose to mean this ' Select Install ZIP from SD Card and then Choose ZIP from SD Card, then from the browser select the ZIP folder you copied earlier and enter. )
9. reboot phone
If what i mean is true...does it mean that what i've doing right now is totally right.
so guys any solution ?
p/s : english not my primary lang.
i have searched in the forum but i couldnt find the answer to my problem
my phone: xperia play 2.3.4 r800a rooted and with unlocked bootloader
i installed xperia cwm from android market and now i want to install a custom rom
i saw this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1447542 (cm9)
but i need to know if the cwm that i have on my phone will mess things or not?
how can i uninstall this "fake" cwm ?
is this rom run games smoothly?
another question:
i found an introduction for installing this for arc s:
Code:
HOWTO
on the beging have device conected to computer by USB
step 1 (on PC) 1.1 copy update-XXX-XXX-XXX.zip and GAPPS ADDON to sdcard
1.2 extract from update-XXX-XXX-XXX.zip the file called kernel.elf
step 2(on device) 2.1 - power off the device
2.2 - unplug usb cable
2.3 - put device in fastboot mode (volume up + power) - blue light on device
step 3 (on PC)
3.1 - flash new kernel "fastboot flash boot kernel.elf"
3.2 - reboot device "fastboot reboot"
step 4(on device) 4.1 - when FreeXperia Logo appears and amber light will be lit press several times volume key to enter recovery
4.2 - in recovery choose "INSTALL ZIP FROM SDCARD" and select update-XXX-XXX-XXX.zip (rom)
4.3 - in recovery choose "INSTALL ZIP FROM SDCARD" and select gapps-xxx-xxx.zip (gapps addon)
4.4 - wipe device (this is needed only if you come from another ROM, if you are upgrading an CM9 release this is not needed unless is specified)
4.5 - reboot device
will those introduction work for me?
I would uninstall the CWM you got from the market and use the one in the thread. If you make a proper backup using CWM you don't need to worry about messing anything up because you can always restore from your backup. Just like magic
how can i uninstall the "fake" cwm recovery?/will this recovery work when i will try to install the rom or my phone will brick?
How do I install. 62 baseband? I want to install ics++

Can this work fine?
For cyanogenmod Roms you need the correct kernel, which is always in the download zip. Extract the zip, use the .img file with fastboot then flash the rom.

Yes it is true, there is the kernel in the zip, what u have to flash with fastboot (or Flashtool) BUT
now - 2012-06-12 10:42 - the boot.img, what is inside the fxp's 124 rom, cannot get into recovery mode - there will be a fix soon -
for now, you can flash the boot.img from the fxp's 123 zip, with that, you can get to recovery , and install the 124 ZIP. after rebooted, you can flash the 124 boot img,
working fine for me . But keep in mind, that you have to copy the 124 version zip to sdcard, before all.
bye
sinkster/ Thanks a lot.
Given the major updates forthcoming in the next fxp125 release, my opinion is you would be better off to hold on for that release.

Hey there guys i been in such a mess. i currently have S ON - Hboot: 1.36 ---> and have 18.2 ARHD installed,, i been away from keeping up with the forums and now i see the 20.1 ARDH but i m having trouble upgrading from 18.2 to 20.1....when i flash the image its waits at "waiting for device" i got all the htc drivers installed.. it use to never do this too me.. i heard somewhere u need to upgrade to 1.39 to flash the new Rom.. but i have no idea.. please help
The difference between 1.36 and 1.39 is minimal and would not cause a rom not to boot !
I think its something different
Try this :
Download the ANDROID SDK BUNDLE and unpack it to a folder somewhere. Navigate to the folder and go to "platform tools" copy the boot.img into that specific folder and open a command window there and flash the boot.img from there !
You will see it works. And use the original htc usb cable and a usb 2.0 port on the pc.
If you don't flash the boot.img the rom will probably not boot up.
And make a FULL wipe in the recovery before installing the new rom because its a new 3.19 base.
thanks you for help. it worked flashing my rom now xDDD
