Hey guys,
has anyone any trick for network unlocking my precious Galaxy W?
I tried the following method but I wasn't successful since there's no bml5.img file in the given folder.

Seriously asking? I want to move from one operator to another but currently my phone is locked to the old one, so it doesn't accept SIMs from other companies.
Only network unlock I found was paid for....around 14-16 Euro.
Well worth freedom to use my cheap MVNO Provider....
[Mobile Virtual Network Operator]
Cheap Tesco in Ireland!!!
saved the money in about a month!!!
I have a link in some thread.....search and you will find!!!

Hi guys,
im new to this forum and so far im liking it... anyways back to the point; ill be going to Europe soon and my T-Mobile S3 not rooted, so im wondering if i take my phone overseas and put in a SIM card over there will it work or be blocked.
Thanks.
You need to call T-Mobile and tell them you are going to Europe-town and ask for an unlock code

I just called them two days ago, and I am waiting for an email with the code. Was told that it could take up to 14 days.

That's an HTC thing of rooting and getting sim unlock at the same time. Rooting this will only root.

The last few time I've called tmo for my phones and my friends', it takes less than 24 hrs for them tk send it. You can request one unlock code every 90 days.

Why would you need more than one unlock code?
Does the phone re-lock after a while?
I'm kinda surprised with all the stuff that goes on here that SIM unlocking can't be done without calling t-mobile or buying from ebay.

Unlocked phones are easier to sale. I don't keep my phone more than 6 months. Plus when I get the warranty or insurance replacement phones, I need to unlock those.

They provide the quickest service, but cellunlock is the cheapest if you don't provide a video to cellunlocker.
Cellunlock did it for 7.50, but I had to wait about 3 days for the code. Google "cellunlock discount codes" and you'll find one to give you 50% off.
And for our phones, you need a SIM card from a locked-out carrier to prompt code entry.

Thanks for the info. I had a couple of S III's to unlock and cellphoneunlock came through for $7.50 a handset. Code came via email a couple of hours later.
I tried cellunlocker.net and the code they gave me didn't work so after that I just took it in to a cell repair guy and he unlocked it for me for 20 bucks

That is too bad, were you using the correct method? The only way to input the code is to have another carrier's SIM card for NA phones. At least you were able to get it all unlocked now.

Damn Got scammed. Is there a way to root this and unlock it, like this version? If so, can you link me?
How do I unlock it
forget unlocking. i'd be contacting the seller...
Its a fake phone man , contact the seller and demand a refund. Unlocking it and stuff is impossible as these Chinese phones have no development at all , try finding a phone with similar hardware z maybe that will help. .
ah right, I have seen methods to unlock these phones though. I have a giffgaff (O2) sim and it doesnt pick up any bars, I tried my EE sim and it picked it up. I dont think my phone is unlocked, is there a way to unlock it. Iv heard of SRSRoot is that the correct method?

Rooting and unlocking are two different things SRSRoot will probably root it but it won't unlock it.

Get your money back, if you paid with paypal contact the seller first and if he refuses do a charge back. Knock off phone's hardware is almost always terrible, which is why the price is so low. Even if you manage to root and install a custom ROM it will never be the same experience as having the actual S3 :\. Sorry to hear all this man.

Not sure why they cannot unlock your N900T they did mine as well as many others on here. Of course there is way to remove service provider lock on the Note 3 via rooting. Many threads on here about it.
Are you trying to unlock without messing with warranty . Cuz if you root using kingo root you can unlock using region unlock app it's in original development forum

Regionlock away from app store unlocked my phone, though author does not claim that to be an intended function of the app, nor does he guarantee that it'll work for each and every phone. In any case it's 2.79 on the play store - doesn't hurt to try.
