[REQUEST] blacked out green themed latinIme.apk for aokp - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I've been looking on rootz and xda and can't seem to find one. I'm loving the green right now but this stock keyboard is taking away from the experience. Anyone wanna theme one or point me where to find it? I'm on aokp 26.

Give me the color green you want (preferably hex code) and I'll make one for ya.
Pick your color here.

I'm so sorry. I thought I could easily change the colors of the keyboard without editing any pngs. This is sadly not true. I don't have the time to edit all the pngs that I would have to.
I'm really sorry for getting your hopes up . I'm pretty sure there is a 'hulk smash' theme or something with a green keyboard. Just grab the keyboard from the zip and push it to your phone.

9.pngs are the worst! A simple land folder, life would be so much easier. If I was able to post on rootz I'd ask the guy who made every other color but green. Thanks anyway, I'm gunna go dig into some old theme .zips n find the black n white ics one

But, with a simple 'land' folder, none of the images could scale properly, creating the need for hundreds of slightly different different images, and each apk would be 20+mb. That's why the .9 system was created But yes, they are extremely time consuming to theme.

[REQ] Opaque Notification Pulldown

Hi there!
Is there a flashable mod that can change the notification pulldown from trans(lucent/parent) to opaque (without sacrificing the other elements of the theme)?
I LOVE the themes that I've found here, but I find transparency/translucence to be disorienting.
Thanks!
yes and no. to my knowledge there is no app or mod to simply change the properties of the png image to opaque, but you could check out the metamorph threads on here and in other xda forums and make yourself a metamorph to do just that!
basically you would choose an image for your new background or pull one from another theme or whatever and build the metamorph according to the guide, run it and voila. good luck!
Thanks. I installed metamorph and... let's just say that I'm smart enough to know that I'm too stupid to do it right
Are there any themes that come with the opaque pulldown?
Thanks again!

Click here, it shows you how to do it yourself. It is a very detailed walkthrough and should not be too difficult even for people without and development experience.
I don't really think there would be a way to create a universal flashable zip that makes the drop down opaque/transparent since the image file that the dropdown consists of is what has to be changed. It is possible to create a zip that would replace your dropdown with a new image file, but then again you still run the risk of changing some of your current theme since you would have to replace more than just that single image file.

Yes it can be done by changing one image and if the theme is done right in the 1st place, the other images will not be affected. The problem is most themer's, including myself do the transparent image since 99.9% people want that. Wanting a custom look is what drove the person making the theme in the first place. We make what we want in a theme and share our work.. The best thing for you do is read the instruction and ask the right person for help on the area you need help. It's the only way to get what YOU want.
Edit: Change my mine, going to help you out. Which of my two themes posted do you want. I will edit the correct png and post just that apk in zip for you to download.
Metamorph will do just that. Gonna take you some research. Sterickson developed it and its under utilized on the samsung Epic so far.
Froyo window had an opaque one but its buried deep on here. 1 thing to note only the stock launcher well show opaque, the after market ones like zeam lp, etc don't display in full screen so it will still show up black unless your using a live wallpaper

that is very generous of you! i truly appreciate the offer.
however, i'm most certainly in the minority in wanting opaqueness (if that is indeed a word). and i know i'm gonna want to learn how to do it eventually, so i'm going to try to do it myself. we'll see what happens
on a related note: as i'm learning and have questions, should i post those questions here or in the general or q/a? seems a little too specific for q/a, but i know there's nothing more loathsome than a question posted in the wrong section
thanks again!

Feel free to pm any specific questions want to learn how theme in general check my signature, the threads are buried deep. Now the status bar (notification bar, pulldown, whatever your calling it) being opaque (transparent, whatever lol) just change the status bar background in twframework to a clear or semi clear image. You used to have a live wallpaper with anything but the stock launcher to get this to work but last night my Zeam updated, and now running the new Zeam, the status bar is clear with just a regular wallpaper. Don't count on LP being added to this list any time I believe it has been asked plenty of times and so far it looks like it's not happening. I could be wrong I haven't been to the LP forum in a bit.

[Q] [REQ][THEME] Blue/Cyan Gingerbread Theme

Fell inlove with gingerbread theme, I would love to have the same theme but with light blue/cyan themed icons, batt/signal/3g status icons/ and status toggle =]
If you have ADW launcher installed you can get the cyan theme that comes with the light blue icons.
This is what I have right now.
I was hoping for something that changes status icons + bat. Cwm3 + DK28 Ext4 Quantom1.7 compatable =]
Just would love to see something like this =]
Unzip the theme go into the framework.apk (you'll need to open it as an archive) and use a program like gimp to alter the colors for yourself. The battery and 3g/4g icons will be in the normal framework.apk the pulldown icons will be located in the tw-framework.apk. I you need help there's a lot of good guys on here that don't mind helping new themers (mysteryemotionz, dreamsforgotten, decalex, and thomaskull666 to name a few.) So give them a pm with any questions if you decide to take up the challenge.
cd's or tapes?
See I made an inverted gingerbread theme. Easy peasy.

did a little messing around and played around with "absolute android" and "launcher pro" and "power control plus", put together some pretty cool homescreens =]
been reading in the wiki as much as possible, to get to a point where i can do this on my own >.<

[Request] Razr Style nav Softkeys

Hello everyone -
Feel how you will about motorola/locked bootloaders, etc. but youd have to agree they do have some design skills as of lately. Something I think fellow modders would enjoy would be standard and possibly reflective versions of the droid razr nav keys. Any takers? There are a lot of custom nav keys available, but I thought these would be a welcome addition. The more choices, the better, yes? No access to Photoshop on my end unfortunately, and the process of creating custom nav keys seems a bit beyond my scope- so I turn to a community of skilled themers instead!
Included is an image of what the proposed finished softkeys would look like.

Awesome, that was record time! thanks sonny! Really appreciate your work! Im assuming these are installed via metamorh, zip themer, etc. like the other soft keys collection and are not cwm flashable, am I correct?
Post up your SystemUI.apk
Root explorer - System/app/SystemUI
Copy that and post here. I'll make a zip right quick. Also when you touch the keys, do you want white or blue?
BTW, these keys are sick.
razr softkeys
Here's my system UI. I tried using with zipthemer, but, though I was doing it correctly, the .zip that sonny provided said, 'no theme control file' or something of the sort. I didnt wanna assume it was a flashable zip, just not sure what to do with the file sonny uploaded. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
I currently use AOKP B23 along with the black exodus theme, so I think I'll go with the white highlights for the keys.
Thanks again!
Try this. Ignore the text when installing. Its for the nav bar mod. I am to lazy to change it lol.
BTW, same rom I'm using, aside from the theme.
Remember nandroid just in case. Not saying anything will happen, but better safe than sorry.
flashable razr style navbuttons
Thats what i'm talkin about, awesome! worked like a charm. thanks again for this. Is it super difficult to create a flashable zip? Id really like to be able to create my own. Useful skill to have. Id actually like to create a series of softkeys as flashable zips and post them e here for everyone to enjoy.
btw; is it possible to make the keys slightly smaller? how involved of a process would that be? I was previously using the htc style navbuttons, and they were a nice size, smaller than these (or the stock buttons for that matter). Reflective versions might be kick ass too!
PS- if under rom control you enable all five nav buttons, they obviously become smaller to fit. The size they are at this point would be about perfect as a standard size. In my case, i prefer to only use four keys (omitting the tasks key) and using the long press home function for tasks.
Its actually quite easy honestly. As well as creating buttons and such.
Feel free to hit me up on gtalk - [email protected] and I'll share a few tips.
Btw, dont forget the "thanks" button
Any way u could make this work with zip themer or metamorph?
I really like them.

So the ICS buttons with the blue glow are awesome, but JB has it grey which i want to change.
Can you tell me how to do that? I can extract anything if you want from the ICS RAZR to use.
Thanks in advance, searching for this one from a long time :fingers-crossed:

For glow...extract button glow PNG. And use a IMG editor to change color put them back in and reinstall sysapk
...or use zip themer soft key zip and install that way. Prob much quicker that way.

[MOD][JellyBean] Black Status Bar 3/13/13 (Almost Done)

Update: 3/13/13 More thanks go out to the people that were able to get this done. I was able to get a flashable zip with more of bleached45's images working.
I know many people (including myself) are missing the black status bar mod from ICS. After a collaborating with other people I was able to figure something out.
By the way you don't need my permission to do anything with this zip (haha). All I ask is that you please thank me (always wanted to be thanked) and give me any critical advice to theming you have (trying to learn the right way).
To Install: (You must be on ZVB Deodexed to use!)
1.Flash the attached zip
2.Wipe cache and dalvik
3.Reboot
3.Win MVP
I'm responsible for nothing that happens to your phone (always wanted to say that). If your qualcomm enhanced location service force closes, Wipe your cache between the reboot. Otherwise just go to settings/wireless networks/more.../mobile networks/connections optimizer. Accept the terms and uncheck the box. The service is annoying anyway.
Issues:
The edit quick toggle button looks kind of weird :-/
There is a very small line inbetween the quick toggles and the date bar
Thank These People!
AdriVelasquez for the Deodexed Rom
B-Reezy for our original LG port of the black mod
bleached45 - Original theme creater and source of the files, and the flashable zip base
Lrod0175 - Provided the status bar with the cool blue bottom and was very helpful with feedback
pcrhckyman - Pointed me in the right direction for source of files
Kobe Bryant - For having the heart of a champion
Re: [MOD][JellyBean] Black Status Bar (Work-In-Progress)
Cool, I thanked you by the way
Edit: the reason you have the white edges is because that's a .9 image and you cannot color the whole image, you have to color the image inside the dots or lines in the edges, those are the ones that allow the image to stretch. You also need to decompile the app to see the points and lines of the .9 images other wise they will show as a regular PNG.

Hey, I have a JB version out for the ATT variant, I believe you can get the files out of my mod and copy them into yours.
I would offer more help but have class in a few minutes and don't have my computer.
I recompiled the .9.pngs and I believe the file names are the same.
What the files are called I don't remember off the top of my head.
Just copy/paste any pure black images from my mod and the bottom slider (the two pngs with the 3 horizontal bars) and the quick settings edit buttons.
It is mostly just eyeballing what file looks like what part of the UI.
I can't promise it will work, but it should.
HERE is my thread. All 4 JB versions have the same image files, so it shouldn't matter which one you grab.

Thank you for everything. I used your indi_noti_btn_edit_normal.9 and indi_noti_btn_edit_pressed.9 files in drawable-xhdpi and it appears they are not stretched the same for our phones. I attached a screen. I'm reading how to edit .9 pngs but I haven't had any luck. If you could drop a few words of wisdom I would appreciate it. Specifically, I see the original dots of the png. I'm assuming I erase those in the photo editor and resize the image, then use draw9patch and put new dots in the same place? And if I see a black border on the side of the grey image, can I assume they stretched the entire side of the png? Thanks for everything and sorry to take your time from school, I'm in school as well.

Modifying Dialer & Contacts Silhouettes

I'm trying to do a little theming with the phone dialer & contacts so I thought I'd start out with some easier ones like the dialer & contacts Silhouettes (see screenshots).
BTW, what used to be SecPhone.apk is now system/priv-app/SecTeleservice.apk. The silhouette images are there and I can change them out but there is no change in the dialer and contacts (contacts.apk changed too btw).
Any of you brainy themers out there can help with this one?
Tnx - TD
How to remove Banner from incall screen:
(Examples in attached screenshots 3 & 4)
Change only the values in InCallUI.apk/res/values/colors.xml to match:
Code:
<color name="incall_call_banner_active_bg">#00000000</color>
<color name="incall_call_banner_disconnect_bg">#00000000</color>
<color name="incall_call_banner_incoming_bg">#00000000</color>
<color name="incall_call_banner_onhold_bg">#00000000</color>
<color name="incall_call_banner_default_bg">#00000000</color>

Ahh yes, I'm importing a theme from a Note 3. The image sizes are very similarly sized and I've used this guys work before. It's pretty awesome if I can figure out the file differences. Our 4.4.2 is totally different than the other builds out there.
I think the file we need to deal with is called InCallUI.apk. I side-tracked a little though because I'm trying to repair the InCallUI file so it will fully recompile so I can try removing the call banner because that method is not working an longer either.

Ahh yes, I'm importing a theme from a Note 3. The image sizes are very similarly sized and I've used this guys work before. It's pretty awesome if I can figure out the file differences. Our 4.4.2 is totally different than the other builds out there.

Yes I believe you are correct, InCallUI and SecTeleservice are the main APKs for phone/contacts now.
What do you mean by "removing the call banner"?

An example of the call banner is that large green banner at the top of the screenshots I posted for the in-call screen. It changes color depending on the call status but I hate it, want it gone and prefer the full screen display without it. If I get it working, I'll post a screenshot so you can see the difference.

looking right now brotha....On the S4 the Call Banner was in res-Values-Colors.xml and was incall_call_banner_in_call_background...which i always made Transparent
Sammy moved a TON of stuff around and has throw myself oiff a bit too lol.
Im just a little over halfway with my stuff, but still working on the COntacts and Dialer
GImme one sec, lemme see if i can track it down real quick
EDIT....YWait....are talking about the GReen in the SS? or the In cAll banner when your in an actual call? THere is a Banner for "In Call" and "End Call" which is in the Colors XML in the TeleService apk. THat will get rid of the Banner there, which i reall Dislike. If your trying to get rid of that Ugly green, thats an image

I already tried the colors.xml edit in SecTeleService and it did not work so I'm going to give it a shot with InCallUI here in a bit.

NO, your right..SOrry i might have confused ya lol. Some Edits need to be chnage, like icons and such, which have a label of "End Call" rather than "In Call"...
Interesting, some icons changed when I morphed incallui but still the silhouettes are the same. I'll have to go through the drawables and make sure the filenames are the same but I think they are.

i know how to REPAIR the InCallUI apk
Have you done that yet? You'll get the usuall "appt" errors, but it will recompile
HERE
Go To InCallUI>res>values-es>strings.xml
Then go to Line 544 and you'll see this: <string name="throttle_time_frame_subtext">"%1$d% del ciclo transcurrido.
Remove the last Percent sign from this "%1$d%" and make it this "%1$d"
InCallUI will now Recompile..You'll get the usual "appt" errors but it will be fine.

I only use the term 'Morph' as an acronym. I really do use VRTheme. The real Morph template does not play well with TWRP but seems to be ok in Philz but I stopped using it because of that.
Alright, looks like I found all the images for the silhouettes are new filenames in the callui file. I think I better resize all of them to make sure they are happy as well. That's going to take me a little while... I'll report back in later.

Ok, I'm getting there.
I still don't have proper images for contact silhouette images though for some reason.
Got rid of the banners as well.

I gotcha. I'm gonna be home in an hour or so. If you want, you csn DL one of themes from the sprint S4 for a reference if you'd like. I gotta do this all myself today, so I'm gonna take it in a bit. There is a Contacts apk, just can't remember the correct file name off hand, but the contact photo will definately be there.

Great the avatar icons are killing me (the ones for the contacts/call logs/favorites). The only ones I can find are in SecSettings believe it or not but replacing them does not help.
Plus, I need a fresh set of eyes.
I posted a little guide on the OP to remove the banner from the call screens.
It is different than previous versions btw.

I actually like the banner. Would be cool if it was blue when connected and then red when ended though haha.
