Impressive work from the RCMix folk! And even more impressive is HTC working on ICS this early on in the game..
Hmm..this is very interesting..Can someone pull it to dropbox and share it with me? I'm interested in seeing if it can be ported, but can do it only in middle of Feb..
here is a direct mirror link from Robocik's server: rom.robocik.mobi/Sensation/RCMixICE/v1.0/RCMix_ICS_v10.zip
Interesting thread.
Htc developers are very slow, they must give work to rcmix team

Ok...nice to see android 4 with sense 3.5 ..but...sense 3.5 with gb runs not good on our desire (think about multitask etc) so i dont think one version higher with no source can be run good...
Anyway...thx for pointing this out..howdid...really really nice...but i dont see this rom on desire...it cant handle this..i bought my desire with sense 1.0 and android eclair...and i think we have done good work...sense 2.1 and max sense 3.0 with android gb...but sense 3.5 with android 4...i dont know...

The OP has not violated rules by posting this in dev section. Whether this can be ported or not will be seen in the long run..
Edit: Ah didnt notice that thread has been cleaned up already
Thanks howdid, and preston74

good luck
I think pico has smaller resolution?

One would simply (it's not so simple ) have to resize each and every m10 to our resolution. More important are lib files..
Even the CPU would be having different drivers..Some amount of kernel modification too would be required..Anyway, we already have Sense 3.5..It's Android 4.0 with Sense that's exceptional in this Sensation release
and all the great devs are invited to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405337

It could be..Or we could make a hybrid of the Sensation Rom + some resource heavy files from this one.. I've got some exams this month and the next..Plus my Desire's been put up on Ebay for sale Otherwise I'd have liked to explore this =)

Yap and Desire HD already has Sense 4.0 rom, not everything works but hey at least it have it ,and DHD is very similar phone, almost the same in every aspect
Yeah I'm still waiting for some dev who interested in porting this to outt device... Hopefully some1 will show up...
Oh come on, where are you devs?
Not too happy to hear that this leak is just the HTC Sense 4 Light version as it comes with the One V. Some features are missing like the weather, friendstream lockscreen,... quick settings... etc

Well it affected many functions of the phone I doubt it
Using this on my Desire S. Much much much faster than 3.5.
This ROM is perfect because it has the same specs as our phone.
Why do you want a One X port? We will need to resize images etc, and will be slower as its designed for a quad-core phone, we are only on a single core, with less RAM.
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
you are right. Its damn fast. But however, the ROM is just as fast, because a lot is missing (Widgets, Lockscreen etc.). It is not so comfortable as the real Sense 3.5 or 4.0. The sense here is 4.0 light, which is similar to Sense 2.1
The One X, based on real Sense 4.0 Engine

Already been using it... I was using it since October, when the first Sense 3.0 ROMs were available
Sense is laggy when opening notifications, app drawer etc. Not like 4.0
Sent from my Desire S using xda premium
Not sire what you guys mean with laggy... Im come from desire.. and for sure...i know what lags are.. on desire also aosp roms have lags.. and now i have a phone with soo much speed.. no lockscreen lags.. even if a call comes.. i can push the symbol really smooth into the ring.. no slide lags during slide between homescreens.. i always use much htc widgets... After i play some 3d gameloft game.. no lag... I dont need data2ext scripts.. as there is engouh internal mem.. even in gameing no lag.. eg : asphalt, nfs, and other...mmmhh.. but im on stock rom @the moment 1. 05
Anyway.. also would like to see a sense 4 rom... Will look if i get some time free.. hope some other want work on that too.. maybe we can use the xe version.. and combine with kernel and hw drivers from sense 3. 6 (which allready work on our phones)...was a idea...
Also we can do some kernel optimations.. @the moment only for gb... So it would be nice again if we get official ics and also get the kernel as source...
Sent from my HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio X315e using XDA
Well ics kernel source for xl should be out soon as official ics dropping soon. These so called lags for me are non existent and maybe some are expecting too much. Rosie was and will always be a memory hog and any widget can cause maybe a slight delay in transition. No roise is ever smooth no matter what is done to it.

well, for the source yes...but for the lags...mmhh..i also have some lags...not big lags...but in compare to gb...ics is slower at the moment...but i think the official rom..as custom dont have it.. but yes true for rosie...but anyway...best launcher and best widgets...(we know how many third party software copy the style)
with kind regards
just downloaded...hope we get the official update soon...if so...one of all devs here should make a development thread...so we can speak together instead of each individually...so we can make ics sense 4 to work...there are also roms for desire hd out...but with things not working...we are in a better situation...we get a ics update...so we have original drivers...etc...so we should have a better start....
good to have custom recoverys...so we can do a nand backup...go back every time back to daily driver in testing
with kind regards

Do you think our devs will get on working with the full Sense 4.0? Or is it not feasible? (read: same as Sense 3.5 in performance)
yes
once HTC release ICS update for desire HD or Desire S, we'll have working drivers for camera,
then our devs can make it happen
Don't you guys have Virtuous Primadonna?
We have 3 or 4 sense 4 roms, but they're one V, which is sense 4A (lite), because its the only one with correct screen resolution
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA
So, the Sense 4 (full) roms will need rescaling, as did some of the 3.5 ones?
Yes. But I think, we will get full sense 4.0 soon.
what's the difference between 4a(lite) and 4(full)?
As it's name suggests - a trimmed down version of the full 4.0 sense, mostly in terms of animations and the sorts. Opimized in order to work smoothly on lower performing hardware, like the one v.

Hey guys,
Just a quick question. Seeing all the great ROM development going on here (basically, we have 99% functional CM10, and full Sense 4.1 ported as well), I was just wondering: why is there no development going on on porting Sense 4.5 to our CM10 base? Is it only because it's only on higher resolution devices and thus the screen size doesn't match? Or is there some greater difference here?
A semi-related question: would it be possible to port Sense 4.1 to a Jelly Bean base?
Thanks for your answers in advance.

I guess the reason nobody gives you an answer may be, that those, who use CM may hate Sense, otherwise they'd maybe use a custom-rom with Sense.
However, knowing CM to be very stable and well developed, I'd like to have it with Sense, too. I like Sense!
I just compared it to my mom's new Galaxy SIII's interface, and it kicks the Galaxy's ass! Alone the Sense text-input is so much better, coming already close to SmartKeyboard's, which may not be as nice as Swift, but is still pretty clever. Or the way Sense does folders! Just drop one icon onto another. Can't be easier. Search everyhwere, even in the app screen, very nice. Apps are not about looks, but about functionality, all go hand in hand, very nice. And the music-player! Wow! Really like it. Only the status/info-bar in the Galaxy is a killer. You can switch on/off all important things from it, WiFi, Blutooth, PowerSaving mode (which is nice), sync, GPS, areoplane mode, etc.
ha ha... i tried to put sense ui on MIUI once... it was a disaster... :silly:
I would love to see sense + jellybean! I'm a big fan of Google Now and it has an update which adds more cards and I can't update it running extreme sense.

I'm running SPAZEDOG ICS and it is stable and fast.
When going for GB, i recommend ELELINUX GB with S2E
MIUI JB
I can recommend MIUI JB: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1850436
Very stable and fast (certainly compared to ICS). I don't install Facebook as it seems to slow down all the other apps. Therefore I have installed Facebook Lite, loads very quickly!
I have an issue with mobile data (to be clear: not WiFi) but this can be due to my provider (Belgium).
I was evaluating MIUI too, cause on her phone it's installed an old MIUI Rom at the moment...
