So no more beastmod. I liked that rom the only thing is it did not play well with some apps. But only on certin versions of it like 4.1 netflix was not compatable with your device in the market. 4.2 had a few that wouldt work I think tmo myaccount didnt work on one of them. I do have to say that4.0 was really good though. Anyway I am glad that you are still going to be around. I hope you work on the new 2.3.6 that we got.

So all I have to do is download the sdk and read the guide on xda?

there's a plethora of info and tools on getting started in the g1 forums. I started theming and rom making in the g1 days. first get familiar with ADB ,vmware and 7zip is your friend.
I found theunlockr.com guide to setting up ADB to be perfect.
Look for stericson's signing tool in the g1 section too. get familiar with theming first. learning to theme can help u get start started oon zip signing and file pushing.

Take your time 'E', I know you'll do a great job. We all know how awesome BeastMOD is and how much you did for the development of it. I'm hoping you'll get some help soon...

If this leak is based on an ICS build from Samsung, prepare to be depressed. Their "official" LPQ ICS was beyond disappointing.

This would sort of come off the back of the info that was given to android police with at&t giving out a list of devices getting ics and the skyrocket was about 3rd last from that list. So not saying it will be 3rd last to be given the update but it was there so this could ultimately be legit..

T Mobile S2 ICS 4.0.3 LC8 system dump

Please find below two links for T Mobile ICS 4.0.3 system dump. The two folders have to be merged into one folder after unziping them to get a complete system folder for the ROM. This is already rooted.

Well i cant say all the roms that start rolling out will be legit.. but I can T989 ICS roms will start rolling out

If you flash a ROM based off of a distant relative's leak, you're gonna have a bad time.
This definitely means that we are all going to be arrested for indecent exposure within the next few weeks due to excessive flashing.

Damn this is gonna be a great week! We have the t989 ics leak, today they are gonna show the new galaxy S3, and on saturday is the boxing fight i cant wait to see Miguel Cotto VS Floyd Mayweather. A great weekend no doubt about that!

Being lil more dramatic but thought i must say thank to this forum for such great time with s2 .

I'm running Mind Trick right now, myself. What are the differences that you see from JMT to this ROM? rom looking at the description, it looks like it does not have some of the SGIII programs in it. I just came from a G2x and am blown away by wow fast this device is and how awesome the Dev's for it are (not that the G2x devs are not good).

Well I guess it's a personal preference.
The Sith is super fast and the battery is ridiculous. It has a red theme which is so cool, and you just have to flash to find out for yourself. I'm sorry I can't be more descriptive I'm still really new with the whole flashing ROM thing..I just wanted to tell him I liked it and thank him but I can't post in his area, lol...

For you guys that are new welcome to the family of flashaholics, It will become a daily activity to flash everything you see. I've lost 6 pounds since I first joined :silly:. Back on topic, the most precious thing is to try out new things. Try them all. That's the reason they are made. But of top of my head The Sith would be a better choice due to its base. (4.0.4) Now thats not to say that it wont have MINOR issues. Its as you all see, brand new. Think about it as car testing. You dont buy the first one you test drive. With that said enjoy you new toys (devices) you wont regret it.Last but not least, the one thing that needs to be reminded, 1)read 2)read 3)read!!!! Its very important. There's fail safe options but mistakes happen. Google is your best friend. <end rant... Once again welcome to the t989 family:good:

If you haven't already, read up on backups and your recovery app of choice. I've learned the hard way in just about everything I can try and remove to make any ROM slimmer then the dev produces just for personal preference and deleting the wrong piece can and will cause you to need to reflash hahaha. Happy flashing
