Hey I just installed a zip from the desire hd forum on my sense 3.5 rom with the official beats framework. now my default music player htc one is not fitting the screen and is wquite big so i cant even press the play button. can anyone please upload the stock sense 3.5 htc music player for desire z? and along with that i'd really appreciate if someone could upload the beats framework so that i can use it with beats.

The development section is for roms/kernels/guides. The fact that you are demanding someone to upload an app doesnt make it ok to post here. Just post this in the questions/app section and you will get someone to upload it for you (no guarantee). I am sorry that it works that way but it does and it makes everything much easier to find what you want

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you only need the apk, can't you simply extract it from the zip file of the ROM?
i cannot find it in any sense 3.5 rom in system/apps. in my root browser, it does show htcmusic.apk but cant find it in rom zip file
It would be in /system/apps/

These 3 files you need to copy from any other sense rom:
HtcListen.apk
HtcBeatsNotify.apk
HtcMusicEnhancer.apk
and to enable beats audio completely
copy /etc/soundimage folder too if that has been tampered in any way.
hey i did try it but its not working. there is no music app in menu. i also tried manually installing the apk but it said application not installed

This is request for rom makers. Since i dont have much experience in rom making( i can only edit roms) i wondered if some dev here coud make nice hd rom without sense launcher, widgets and stufff. kinda hybrid rom. hd roms have nice menu, camera, gallery , contacts, but sense is slugish. there was one rom like this but its not updated anymore. with this request comess the poll so we can see if the people wants it
just install a hd rom and a different launcher and set it as default, and then you wont have to fill a dev section with those general questions
or ask the guy you say is the best

whell his rom is on my desire, but my wife preferes hd. oh and that sensles hd was popular , don't know why
Flash robociks HD rom, overclock and use a different launcher and youre all set.

download baadnewz's rom. Download you're (or her's) preferred launcher, then using adb or root explorer or titanium backup remove Roise & any roise widget.

Hey. can someone please tell us if there is a solution to transferring the Sense 2.1 music app on Unity 1.25 or 1.26 for the Desire HD?
And if not, can someone explain why it functions in RcMix 3D's Rom and not with Unity's??!!
I love the sound of SRS and I love Unity's rom but unfourtunatley they don't work together...

Try using powerAmp..it has SRS support, and i think it should work..
BTW, stock 2.1 player should also work..as you said, works perfectly on RcMix3D..
I know that stock 2.1 player works on RcMix's Rom but on Unity it doesnt work. reported from many other Unity users.

Well yes you can get cracked versions from around the net, but the original one is not that costly. You should support the awesome devs..

wierd, i am on virtuous unity 1.26 and i just installed the apk no problem and dolby + srs working fine here.
Im on 1.27... Could that be the problem?
.... Also I downloaded the link via my phone, should I have downloaded it to desktop - and then moved it to the root of the SD card!?

Well i've been using srs and dolby on virtuous and other roms using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13493012&postcount=1 and it been working with out any hickups , also you could use equalizer app found on market with this !

Ive always used the revolution font for the roms i use but on the sandwich it just boot loops anyone know how to put it onboard in another way than flashing..in the folder zip there's folders Meta and system...is it possible just to repplace the roboto font? With the files in the folder...I've not used fonts much as an actual file so any help will get...a thanks a guess!

im in the same boat, ive always used this font with all my roms on the sensation, but now its not working with ICS and im pretty sad, i posted on the ARHD Rom thread but no one is willing to help
ive even tried to pm the developer but no reply, been two weeks. hope it gets sorted because im finding it really hard to adjust! lol

got a reply for the author. he sent me another .zip file but that didnt work either.
i think there is maybe a problem in ARHD and other fonts
Ask someone who deals with fonts in sensation someone will know try asking the rcmix team...they'll probably know

Editing and altering roms takes a lot of reading and learning. No one is gonna take you by the hand and guide you especially devs on altering their roms. But if you want to change the looks try uot kitchen its pretty simple there.

Go over to the android development section. It depends what rom you are running, chances are it has already been modded. If its just theming, miui has a bunch of options that can be downloaded. You can also go to the play store and download themes for free or search right here on xda. Some themes on the store could be laggy.

A question for all you miui users.
At the moment in am running Eva. Miui, and its far better than any rom I've used before.
But there are a few tiny things that need ironing out, like white text on a white background on some apps (ebay for one) and sometimes I see Japanese characters, cant remember where, but it was definitely part of the system.
I guess the question is what one is the best, smoothest, most complete English gingerbread miui?

I've used MrGarak and "a user" miui roms. They are both excellent roms but the latest one is a little newer.

Cheers man, they I like the look of mcgaraks rom, but it just won't download for some reason.

Both of them are great. If you want the last gingerbread version of miui choose the one from a user. On the other hand, MrGarak version includes 4-way reboot and extended settings mod (latest a user version does not). I remember I took miui.us rom and merged some files into a user's rom in order to get 4-way reboot working. MrGarak's rom comes with a black theme but if you want the white one (default), you could search in his thread how to get it. I think you just have to replace a theme filename.

Still can't find a link for Mrgaraks rom, so will probably end up using a users, i will miss the 4 way reboot though. Mrgaraks sounds more stable but I could be wrong

I've used RD MIUI without issue, I haven't tried any other (went onto ICS and now JB miui's), but I could recommend that for you to try.
If you don't have sound, you'll need to flash another kernel. Depending on which, you may have to delete a certain file (I know lord clockan's do). However, the process is explained in most kernel threads.
