Back Ordered Samsung Cases Available on Provantage

Although the naming of the case on this site doesn't inspire confidence, I went by the part number and everywhere I've looked online the part number "EFC-1B1NBECXAR" pertains to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Leather Notebook Case.

So I took a chance and ordered one.
I think this may have come up before in discussions on another thread. Either way, I'll let you know how it pans out when the item is delivered. Hopefully.

The name sounds right to me... And by the way, it isn't leather.

Yeah, I know it's not leather, but Samsung calls it that

Put in an order. Model number matches up so I have little doubt that the model isn't correct.

Yes it is for the Retail version. I don't think they are making these for the 10.1v, but don't quote me on that. Mine better ship today! lol

It's a killer case at an even better price. I do my best to find the cheapest anything on the internet... I haven't paid full price for anything in years.

Thanks for the heads-up on the Otterbox deal. I just bought an Atrix 4G and all i found locally was a Incipio clip-around with little shock protection. I'm gonna return that when the Otterbox arrives.

Just a warning to those looking to buy this:
I was wondering why it was so cheap because most otterbox's cost around $20+. This is the silicone one and apparently it has gotten mediocre rating at best. Here's the amazon reviews for it:

Shame. I bought a hard case off of the bay as a bundle package it broke on me the first week. Ordered a silicone one off the bay from Hong Kong since I usually have better luck with silicone ones. Don't know why many people state the silicone Otterbox attracts a lot of dust/lint, I have never experienced that from any of my other cases.

Mine hasn't given me any trouble. I also know that Best Buy is attempting to liquidate stock on EOL phones and their accessories.

Case Mate Tough case doesn't fit correctly. Good results

I had bought a Case Mate Tough skin case for my phone, and it's had a lot of issues with the power button fit, it would turn off and on by touching the area anywhere near it. I looked around case-mate.com and noticed this case is not on their website, so I contacted Case Mate and they say it's a known issue, and are going to ship me a new one when they come in sometime during in the next 2-4 weeks.. Good customer relations.

They asked for my order number, I told them I didn't buy it online, that I bought it from a retailer.

Bummer. I disliked mine so much i tossed it in the trash LOL.

yeah I was pissed.. I had one on my last phone, (Nexus 1) and it was amazing. I dropped my phone several times and it never had a scratch. Sabooher - contact them, they didn't ask for me to send mine back, or see a receipt..

Not even sure i would want a replacement. LOL The plastic part of the case is great. Its the silicone part that sucks. I learned my lesson this time.

According to you , the case is good but the silicon party suck and the shape beetween the two parties is not good...

I wish I would have found this thread before I bought this case. I am really disappointed with this case for the GN. I have had tough cases on several phones and they sure messed this one up. I have sent customer service an email so hopefully they will replace mine as well.

Sadly for me because I ordered mines directly from Case-Mate.com rather than a reseller. They provided me with a coupon that gives me 20% off but wouldn't give me a free replacement and said that the free replacement is only for people who bought the case from a reseller. HOWEVER, they did refund me for the purchase I made on the Tough Case. So pretty much, I got the case for free if I want to continue using it with the current flaws of it.
So pretty much:
buy case from reseller -> free replacement
buy case from case-mate.com -> coupon code off
They also said the revised case for the Tough Case & Pop coming out later this month will fit both GSM & CDMA models.

i sent a mail to case-mate .
The case-mate Tough for the galaxy nexus is now not available in their website :

That sucks. Just go spend the money on the D30. You can also buy the diamond edition bodyglove for it too. ITs a pretty sleek grey and white case.

Ummm no. The D30 has been the cause of many bezel issues including cracking. The ones you named are horrible quality at an atrocious price. Try ebay man just search t989 case, there is literally hundreds of better quality and styled products for a fraction of the cost.

I dont know how some of you do it going naked without a screen protector, I tried that on my original note 10.1 and got this super fine hairline cut in the glass and even though you had to hold it up to a the light on a certain angle to see it, I knew it was there and it always bothered me LOL

Ohh I understand, and I've been fortunate thus far and this would be like my 7th tablet....
Now my phones that slide in and out of pockets, and thrown around... They get screen protectors, always.
Although I would wait for the Spigen version, if they are making one, as they have an excellent product.
I'm using the Ultra Crystal version on both of our Note II phones.
Now that has a scratch in the protector that bugs me from time to time so I know how you feel.

Does the Note 2014 have gorilla glass? I've never used a screen protector on a tablet. Do you screen protector ppl get a lot of bubbles with them? It's hard a s hell to not get bubbles on cell phone protectors and it bugs me :/

I just don't get why Amazon doesn't have a pre-order page up for it AND why the hell the older GN10.1 hasn't dropped in price, it's still just $50 off.

best buy is still selling it for the same price they always have, **** the old nexus is still at some bestbuys i know and is selling for the exact same price as the new one.LOL

What ticks me off is if this were apple crap they would be doing pre-order garbage and if you want a Samsung product you get the back of the line attitude. Sorry this IS SAMSUNG and ITS WORTH IT!

I would like a note 2014 but I would like to know the price first. If they want to sell them they should name a price so people can decide. I already sold my Asus tf700t and if the Note 2014 is too much I'll have to go with tye Asus tf701t. I'm willing to pay more for the note but how much more is the question.

For a tablet launching in 9 days its pretty friggin quite Samsung. I mean there are no leaks on which suppliers will have it and that is disappointing.

I was at Best Buy today and they are knowledgeable about the refresh but they don't have dates or they aren't telling.

I suspect until we see a fire sale price on the current GN 10.1 its not releasing in the US. They need to dump the current stock first otherwise who the hell would buy it. Its night and day difference in specs.

It depends on what you want the sleeve to do for you. I have had other similar neo sleeves for tablets and they do the trick for transport and protection. But once out of the neo sleeve anything goes.
