Bluetooth Headset - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

What's a good bluetooth headset to go with our SGW?

i suppose most bluetooth headset will work with our I8150.
right now, i'm using a nokia bh503, and i'm sure other stereo bluetooth headset will also work.

I bought the RAC one for £5 from play.com...it works very well

I use Jabra BT3030
stylish bluetooth device, looks like a dog tag, but with great sound and controls, can pair upto 2 devices at the same time, can have call and music, you can use your preferred earphones though.

I'm using a nokia BH-604. I'm disappointed don't have get maximum results, just like when using nokia device. maybe due different music player..

Using HM1200 from Samsung!
Very nice.

Tenqa Remxd headphones, they're over-ear headphones but are superb. They're 40 bucks on Amazon

I use Nokia BH-503 Bluetooth Headset. its cheap compared to any Jabra products but works decently. Its a Headphone which means it should be placed on your both ear for excellent sound, i tried the other with only 1 piece and it doens't satisfy my music needs, i prefer use headphones rather than 1 piece to hear the sound good.

I use the Samsung HM5000 because of its long conversation and standby time. Although its mono its nice to wear

as for my past post, i would not now recommend to use the Nokia BH503, when watching movies it doesn't sync with the audio, its always delayed.. any of you uses some brand that works great on movies?

Buddy try dell by 200 its gud, no prob in sync , no delay

Bluetooth headset and Vlingo

Hey there,
I just got my mom a Gnex and she is really happy with it.
I installed Vlingo and she loves it, but we can't figure why the audio, say sms readout, sounds in the phone speaker and not on the Bluetooth headset.
Anyway to make all the sound, especially sms readouts and text to speech, go to headset?
Headsets are a cheap generic MOBO and. Jabra Stone 2.
Thanks!

Does anybody knows if this ear buds works with galaxy nexus ? To listen to music and use the mic.

The only in-line device on earphones that will not work with Android devices is volume up-down buttons but single button(play, pause, skip, etc..) and mic will work.
If your going to buy a higher quality set of earphones I would also recommend buying power amp and adjusting the EQ however you like it, it really makes your music better

Sound distortion

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone else has this issue, I'm running CM10 and the music quality isn't too bad while running the headphone jack to speakers, ie my car, home. But when I plug my headphones and and try to play with DSP at all it always sounds distorted and sound like the headphones are blown, this only happens after I enable something with DSP, the headphones are fine. I also tested on my zune and my roommates Droid X2, both of which sound much better than my phone.
Any suggestions or solutions would be great, the headphones are sennheiser HD558's

DSP distorts the sound, no way around it. Try poweramp music player, it uses it's own equalizers and settings and has great sound.

Thanks I've always been hesitant to use poweramp, but I've heard so many people praise it, I'll try it out, I just don't want to leave Apollo lol

At first I only used it because Apollo wouldn't play certain file types that I had, loved it ever since.
I've been using power amp for two years and love it

OK I've been testing it and its great in the EQ setting the limiter is what makes the difference, it stopped music from peaking. Thanks guys

I never used Philips earphones. I m using Sennheiser cx300-ii. Works pretty well, but doesn't have microphone.

well i have shb9000 philips bluetooth headphone (not earphone), and its good.
and the good news about that headphone, is when youre headphone is low on battery. you can plug in the headphone
with the wire included, then you can use it as wired headphone .
it has mic too.

[Q] Any way to increase Bluetooth headset Mic recording volume?

Hi,
I'm currently using ARHD21 rom. I've noticed that the recording volume using my Bluetooth headset is very low.
I'm using BTmono app to route the Mic so it will record from Bluetooth headset.
I've tried with Jabra Supreme, Jabra Sports, i-tech voice clip 609s, and Samsung's Bluetooth. Using with apps like Voxer, Palringo, WeChat and the free voice recorder.
All resulted in volume at least 40% lower then other android phone. Tried all the same headset, on Samsung S3 and a Samsung knock off android phone.
Recording from phones built in Mic and wired headset is ok though..
Need help, I'm literally shouting to get my voice heard when using Palringo with my friends. Out of 52 online I'm always the one with the lowest volume.

Oh btw, I tried using the old ARHD ICS rom, same results. Have not tried switching to stock.
I'm the only guy in my group using htc phone, so could not compare.
Only PTT app I use that yielded same volume level is Zello but had to set the recording amplifier within the app to max.
Even iPhone users on Bluetooth had louder volume.

You ask a ROM specific issue by opening a whole new topic in Q&A??
and by the way... Recording has always been average to me via bluetooth...
