Has anyone been working on trying to port this over to the Inc? With it being an Evo ROM, it seems like it would be an easier port than the new Sensation dump. Even though it's only Sense 2.1

WHATS EVERYONES THOUGHT ABOUT IT. THIS WILL about 95% chance be our version with ics.
I think its nice but if it slows down again its crap
Same sh!t different toilet
I think it'll be fine. Once we get it, we'll be seeing sense 4 ports too.

LOL, there's 3 versions of sense I like: 2.1, 3.0 desire s version, and 4.0. Pyramid 3.0, MT4GS 3.0, Espresso 2.1, 3.5, bliss sense, etc. all suck IMO.
I think it's ugly. I don't like it. I like how Engadget's review put it in saying that it's inconsistent on how HTC implimented its features into ICS.

like here for instance.
Ummm, you talkin about look or functionality?

If Sense 4.0 is much leaner than 3.6, why wouldnt they want to put 4.0 on our phones ESPECIALLY. I mean in theory, our phones shouldnt be as quick as the Rezound, who is getting the leaner software. Doesnt make a lot of sense if you ask me.
Haha, the sense were getting doesn't make "sense". Lol

HTC says that the reason why some of the current HTC phones aren't getting Sense 4.0 is because of the image chip technology added to the HTC One series.

they make that execuse with every single update that they dont give ie our gen phones cant have sense 3.5 because of hd limitiations yet the htc rhyme has virtually identical specs and launched with it
they just want a selling point for their newer phones

The rezound is getting 3.6, I'm using it right now actually. I like, it pretty nice, but 4.0 is much nicer, after playing with it, I'm really excited for a fully functional port of it. If the inc2 can handle 3.5 from gb, it can handle ics 3.6 really well

Exactly, if they put all of there latest and greatest on here, what would be the point of going out to get a new phone?
Personally stock rooted ICS with sense 4.0, - bloatwear = phone I would be happy with till it fell apart
Just saw this on the main xda page. Although I'm happy about the dinc 2 getting the update, I kinda wished it would get sense 4.0, so there could be stable rom builds in the future. Will there be any possible way of getting a sense 4.0 port to the dinc 2 after ICS is released?
More than likely yes. That being because we really only need a kernel.

I'm going to get an Evo 4g soon from a friend who doesn't need it, and I've been searching for a custom ICS Sense 3.6 or Sense 4.0 like on the new HTC ics phones.
I haven't found anything however, so if someone could find or create a sense 3.6/4.0 rom for the Evo 4g, I would appreciate it.
there is no ics sense 3.6/4.0 roms as of yet for the evo 4g
we are still missing a kernel. we have to wait for some source to be released so our devs can make a booting kernel, or at least try to port one....
btw our best bet would be to try to port the One V sense 4.0A since the one v matches our specs in hardware terms like proccessor speed and ram. so that should run pretty smooth on our evo 4g

Thanks for the quick reply, but I remember hearing that the One V's sense was cut down compared to the One X and One S. Eh, no big deal, what I really want is sense but without that weird dock.
Room for al sense 2.x
You can chech this.

That rom doesn't work on the evo
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA
If and when an ics sense Rom (3.0,3.5,6,4.0) it would be nice. But do not expect it to run well. Would be an act of god if it was somewhat smooth being that energy and warm 2.3, both sense 3.5 gb roms are borderline laggy IMO. While the devs for those two roms are AMAZING, theres just only so much this phone can do with its limited hardware which is one of the reasons it will not be receiving an ics ota. When some sort of source kernel drops someday god knows when, devs will make it work. Wish I still had my EVO to test out when it happens. I miss it

Does anyone think this is possible now that the thunderbolt just got an official update to android 4.0.4 and sense 3.6?

Hey, guys. Is there a way to get a port of a sense rom? I really love htc sense, but I also love the keyboard of this phone. Any ideas?

Doubt we can port the whole thing (Sense 4) We can do parts such as the Sense 4 clock here. Frankly, we may be able to take the One X and pull the files there for a port but vanilla ICS seems much more worthwhile, no?
Honestly, i like HTC sense 3.x better than HTC sense 4.
Yeah, all of our effort ought to be on ice cream sandwich.
