http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14650041&postcount=24
but it it failed to save any photo
When I went to the market I tried to install the app,
it downloaded and said "Missing shared Library"

Shortly after upgrading my Epic for DK28, I installed the Flash 10.1 app from the market. However, lately my phone has not been able to recognize Flash content (big blank spaces on web sites where there should be video windows, etc). I even deleted Flash using Root Explorer and reinstalled Flash, but still nothing. Could a program be blocking Flash from running?
I am currently running midNIGHT ROM V3.1, but I haven't heard of anyone having this issue, so I doubt it's the ROM's fault.
Any suggestions?
Delete flashplayer.apk in /system/app.../data/app....and in /data/data/ delete the flashplayer folder. Then open market and search for flashplayer make sure its uninstalled w/all updates then reinstall it. That should work. Also try looking in browser settings.

I installed Android Revolution HD 5.1.1 and it worked perfectly but I like the CM7 camera alot more so I got the APK and installed it. Then when I tried to open the app it force closes. I tried to install the ARHD5.1.1 camera APK but it doesn't work.
I installed another Camera app and it works but the video recorder does not work and I installed a camcorder shortcut but that FC aswell. Any advice? I can't be bothered to wipe it AGAIN .
To fix this you need a root file explorer. Navigate to system /app and delete HTCCamera.apk. from the rom you use extract the camera and paste it to system app

I'm rooted and have CWM, when I updated to the Zedomax v2 kernel I got stuck in a boot loop so I did a factory reset wiped everything and re-flashed it. that got me back up and working again but I noticed the camera app is missing. I see the installer in root explorer but it will not install the app. Anyone else seen this or have an idea how to restore it?
Try vignette or a 3rd party camera app see of it camera even works anymore

I installed fast burst camera and it will work however launching the stock camera from the gallery or picture editor causes the gallery or editor to force close. I'm going to try Zedomax's steps for unbricking and see if that helps.
FYI for anyone else who runs into this, I was able to restore the app by using zedomax's system restore/fix bootloop files. you can find them in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1272585
Hi, I've seen several threads on the 4.2 camera... But, did not see any detailed instructions. Such as, do we need to un-install the old camera.
Also, is there a way for the app to be installed as "camera" instead of "gallery"? I wish it would be called "camera" when you go through the list of installed applications (not the App Drawer). But I guess that's minor.
I had it working briefly under AOKP 4.1.2 Milestone 1. But, after a bit BOTH cameras were force closing, or "could not connect to camera" errors, couldn't even launch them - did a factory reset and then at least the old camera would work again with 4.2 camera installed...
Here's what worked for me. Downloaded the new cam zip. Went into my system app folder and renamed gallery2( I think it was called... Whatever your gallery app is) to gallery2.apk.bak. This way it won't be seen as an app. Then boot to recovery, wipe cache and dalvick, flash cam, fixed permissions just to be on the safe side, reboot. I've since ditched though as I prefer ProCapture for my cam... Is worth a look.
When you did the reset did you reflash the rom or new cam zip?

I'm loving this rom, very smooth and stable.
However I'd like to update my youtube to the newest version, but i get the error that the package is not signed correctly and ask to remove the previous version
There are no option to remove youtube, but disable instead.
Is there a way to update?

You can try to install the apk file (HERE)
Or you can uninstall Youtube with a root uninstaller or with Titanium Backup then you install the apk file or download from Play Store.
Just after posting this question, I did one more search on the forum and most of treads orients to remove the youtube.apk
As my note 2 is rooted, I deleted the apk from /system/app. After that I tried to install from google play and got an different error.
So I restarted the device and then It could be installed from google play.
So I had no chance to test your link. But thank you anyway.
If someone is facing the same problem I was, try downloading the apk Primokorn posted and tell us your results.
