Nonsense!
The only bright thing about this, is that I would have a reminder of my Omnia 7...
I mean, OK WP7 is a brilliant OS (definitly better than Android) but not even launcher 7 looks like it. Instead of these little details, let's put all our knowledge, into creating an actual WP7.5 ROM for our Gnex's... If someone could tell me, how to mess around with APKs, I'd gladly do my part, and start creating some Metro-Style UI-tweaks...
Send me a PM, if you are interested...
Perfect reference. Thanks

I'm sorry, but why did you upgrade? I highly doubt (not to disrespect devs) we'll ever have a functioning WP7 rom. I've only heard of Android on an HTC HD2. Never have I heard of Windows Phone on an Android device.

But the reason I upgraded is because the German Telekom doesn't do Samsung WPs. Which, I guess, was a good thing for me now.

Hi, Just wondering if any developers would consider building a paranoid android rom (like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1628206). I just thought that it looked nice. Anyways, thanks for all the work devs!

I highly doubt it, based on the fact, it's a Samsung based device ROM. .cross compatible roms, like Samsung to HTC, or vice versa require allot of reworking files.
As for the devs here, one might be able to, but I can't say.

I don't think it would look bad. Touchpro had a screenie of one of his old ics roms and he was running tablet mode and it looked sick! I know that this isn't tablet mode this is a rom but still looks sick
So is this Rom being worked on? I can't wait to try it out.
Someone can use my my port guide, in my signature, to try it out. Just find a HTC device that has the ROM. The mytouch 4g has it

Yep, that's what I'm talking about. It looks so clean yet elegant.
A chrome theme or even a Chrome OS ROM would be sweet.
Ohh THAT UI. Whoops haha. I've had it for a while due to dev channel updates so I was confused when someone said it came with the newer books.
I agree it looks good!
From what I can tell, the Chrome OS is basically just a black/grey/white version of Holo.
How about this theme? The only major difference with Chrome OS is that the notification area is transparent, and that can be added with a small tweak. You should ask the OP if they'd be interested in making the theme more closely resemble Chrome OS.
navigation bar look so shiny!
this can be an feature in paranoid android rom (transparent navigation bar with apps on it).
i want to, and will make this theme if someone can point me in the right direction to find the UI elements without having to download the whole OS to get them.
This is a mock up!
I just wanted to put something together to see if this was what you guys were wanting in the theme.

Agree with that. What's up with the buttons in the middle so far from your hands? My initial reaction is that I like the old tablet UI better.
I'm curious about the A15 CPU. This will be the first Android device using one and give us an indication what to expect from future smartphones.

Thank god for Paranoid Android!
I like it. Going from phone to tablet should be seamless - everything in the same position on screen. We've grown to the Android tablet UI for about 20 months since Honeycomb first rolled out, and naturally this is a change. The design team had to give this serious consideration before making it happen, so there must be a solid rationale behind it all. One more step towards eliminating fragmentation.

Making the tablet experience the exact same as the phone one does not equal getting rid of "fragmentation" (that word gets throw around so much people are forgetting what it means but that's a different discussion). Other than a larger screen what advantage does a tablet have over a phone if it's the exact same UI? There isn't one. There should be some kind of distinguishing factors between the two types of devices or there stops being a point buying both when there are Phablets like the note out.
Damn resolution is higher than my 1080p laptop, can only see half of the full sized pics =P

Yeah no windows 8 will be coming to this phone

I must add, though, the greatest device ever was the hd2. It could boot any windows, android, hell, it had jelly bean before android devices did, and run Linux.
Maybe the genius is to big a windows phone, so you don't have to worry about closed source/proprietor, then boot android or whatever else from it.

Edit: Pressed send on accident.
There was Swamp Goblin who scammed the community into buying him an E4GT to port Sense which we did get a booting but broken port.
Then we had another developer that was making a Sense themed TW ROM, he then had to sell his E4GT to take his daughter to a doctor. As far as I know, he is still working on the theme but he cannot personally test it.

Yep. There's actually a pretty cool Windows 8 Launcher on the Play Store. It's really cool. I switch between that one and Nova.

Please keep bases the same.
ie- CM10.2 base and CM10.2 port
There is still some user input required so it is advised that you know your way around the android OS.
This program REQUIRES that you have the Java JDK and JRE installed.
Having adb installed is not a requirement, but some options in this program utilize it.
This is my first development project so bare with me.

It's cool that you made this but I have to admit, I am a bit confused...
Your title calls it a Rom Migrator, which I took to mean that it can help someone jump between roms by making it easy to restore apps, settings, etc.
But your op says it will port roms, which says to me that you can take a Sprint or AT&T Rom, and using this, port it to our T999 fairly easily.
Either way, I can see it as being useful to different groups of people, but perhaps it's not getting much response due to similar confusion.
You may also consider a quick step by step guide in one of your reserved posts. Nothing fancy, but a quick how-to can go a good ways toward making folks more comfortable with trying something new.
Hope that helps, and thanks for sharing your work!

If this app ports as it says it does then I guess there would be no problem porting from other S3 variants.... I assume this tool, will auto swap out drivers and set partition parameters that are compatible with T-Mobile S3.... If it can't do that then the next best thing would be that it uses a compatible base and add the rest of features similar to how Aroma works..... If none of the above, this probably doesn't do what it says and might brick your phone.....
I've used this a couple times it works, somewhat i.hade manually switch out a fre things in the actual final port ROM but other wise it's good
