I flashed the worldwide rom 2.3.3 for this Arc phone at like 5 months ago.
Today when i connected to a wifi a O.T.A Update appeared on my phone. I downloaded it but i cant install it.
Is it a oficial update or developers one?
Anyone else is facing it?

As title, I can't download any apps from the market, free or paid.
It gives me an 'error when processing payment'.
Apps currently installed will update fine without any errors.
The phone is rooted and running the latest version of LeeDroid.
Anyone else getting this or know of a fix?

You probably have the Xperia CWM Auto-Installer installed. Update to the latest version from the market.

Can anyone tell me if I should root my Xperia arc S?? I still have 4 months of warranty remaining. Although the sole reason pushing me to root is the sluggishness and seldom freezing. Please advise!!

No one can tell you what to do, the best thing to do would be to look around and compare the pro's and con's. If you do root don't sweat about the warranty, you can just flash an ftf or do a repair via pcc. Both would return you straight to stock
