When i use root explorer, i found a folder called "dontpanic" in \data , anyone knows what that is for?

is there an update
Can this folder be deleted ? As i understand it only contains crash log files. So it would not cause any issue, would it ? My device is running low on space and this folder is hogging more than 200 MB

[Q] music player can't work

hay guys,
this is my first post, sorry for my bad english,
i get a problem after install BEATS AUDIO, my music player can't play, but i can hearing music by other application like TTpod, and my video player get error too, the sound can't play but the video still running,
can somebody help me ?

Hello... Have you made any backup?
Try wiping your cache from CWM. see if it helps.
if not... Try to flash another Audio Improvement Patch. If you have joined Indonesia's Galaxy W community, it's the one shared by Irwan Hariri. I'll post the link here once I found it...
Lastly, if you lost your hope... just reflash your rom and it should work again.

Just reinstall music player again. Move and replace the one under system/app by using root explorer and then reboot.

Files should be flashed through CWM Recovery .

hi,sometimes i've the same problem; when i want to listen to music the player and every app say that it isn't supported;so i must only reboot the phone

I think u guys should specify which ROM are u using now having this music player problem. It MIGHT not be the problem of the music player apk but the system itself.

[HELP] My Music failed to read some Mp3 files

Hi guys, help me please.
My Music and the other mp3player fail to read some mp3 files inside my "Music" folder. But, if I try to open it in file manager, everything's normal.
I try to searching .nomedia file, but there're no results. Somebody please help me to fix this problem.:crying:

What folder are the mp3 files located? This will help me to fix the problem, cuz that happened to me once and when i moved the files it worked.

Try updating to 2.3. It is known to

The folder name is Music. I've already to do like what u said, but the result's still same.
Moving some mp3 files to the other folder then open My Music and still undetected.

I cant download music info and i have wlakman app Trillinac-s i think. Does anyone know solution to this problem on walkman app?
If no one knows can someon explain me how to do this on media go on pc?

I didn't have a pleasant experience with media go. For many of my albums, it downloaded the wrong information. And it's annoying to fix them later.

I havent found any solution on thread about walkman app, IF SOMEONE KNOWS PLEASE GIVE ME LINKTO IT! THANX!

Download and it extract it. Then paste the CredentialManagerService.apk to system/app and set the right permissions.

use N7 music player from Google Play..........the best.........it finds all your album arts in HD and you can make your music player import from it.........superb app.........

I have the same exact problem. I saw it is because of the Unlocked Bootloader on another website.

IMEI UNLOCKED?
Then ist not possible. It uses DRM data, and its lost when you unlocked

[Q] DebianDroid problem

Hello there. I just have a question i don`t know if it`s happening only to me , but it`s happening only with this rom. It`s about DebianDroid Lenny and there are 2 problems that i have with it . The pictures that i take with the camera appear rotated and the second problem is that videos really don`t play , i mean they load , sound works fine , but video just halts . I also tried with Mx Player , codecs included , it does the same. If someone could tell me if i can fix these problems on my own. Of all many roms i tried , i like this one the best so i wish this could be fixed. Thank you in advance.

I am using debiandriod from 2 months n i didn't face these problems,
Plz try this
Do a clean install of rom again
Then don't restart ur cell
Do wipe data / factory reset
After this reboot ur cell.
Do necessary settings as per ur requirements
Install mx player n check it will work

Well thanks for the idea but i already tried all of that. I posted on official development thread and mackief said there`s a problem with the video libs and he will provide a fix.
So please , this thread can be closed

Update : i fixed the problem. I reintalled the rom , wipe data , cache and dalvik cache before and after install , format system , data , cache and sd-ext and still wasn`t working. Stock player and MX Player both behaved the same , but i just installed BS Player and now it is working as it should. I still don`t know what is causing the problem but if i can play the movies with BS Player it`s not that important anymore.
L.E. it seems that only software encoding is working.
L.E. My mistake , the video lags behind the sound.
